Temporary solution to load problem with Satellite C650

I here provide a temporary solution to loading with Satellite C650 problem, which I have faced.

First of all, I've updated my BIOS. After that, I removed the battery and plugged AC for 2-3 minutes.

Then replace the battery and it loaded.

However, the battery got charged up to 99% only and after that the interrupted load and the load remained at 99% and renewed battery indicating "plugged in, not charging."

Therefore, each time I hv to repeat the procedure above to charge my battery.

If any1 has the solution to the prob. above, it would be gr8 to hear.

Thank you very much!

Thanks for your posting.
To be honest I really don t know what else you can expect and test it with new battery.

I think that your laptop model must always have a warranty valid, right?
If so, contact Toshiba nearest service provider and ask for replacement.

I am more able to again access the BIOS,
Despite my cd penalty that no longer starts, I'll have to try it on another Pc to make sure that the cd is ok...

You can change it to normal mode again.

  • Strange sound problem with Satellite L740 TV outputs

I'm having a strange problem here... I googled this several times already, and I only found the same solution mentioned several times and the given solution * not * work is to me.

I have a Toshiba Satellite L740 running Windows 7 Home Edition Premium, with a 64-bit Intel Core i5 - 2410M @ 2.30 GHz CPU and 4 GB of physical RAM. My problem is the following...

There are two different TVs in my house that I regularly connect my laptop via HDMI cable.
The first is mine, and I can get sound through the TV very well when I plug it in.

Sometimes, however, I will disconnect the computer from my TV and not get any sound through the laptop because he's trying to output to external speakers to TV.

More importantly, when I connect my laptop to my * roommate * TV (the same make as mine, you mind), I can not all the sounds of his TV at all.

This is a recent problem. Until this morning, I was able to get noise from two TV very well and only sometimes had problems with sound through the laptop itself, which has been easily resolved by restarting.

It's just a hunch, but it's almost like * doesn't realize that there are two different TVs * that it is connected to my computer. Maybe it's stupid, I don't know, but be it, it's frustrating...

    * ALSO: * I've seen dozens of suggestions that I put my HDMI audio as default device. Yes, I did. It wasn't the issue. Is the same to activate my audio drivers in Device Manager. They are all turned on, so it's not that either. Any ideas?

It's a bit strange if you connect the laptop to two identical televisions and use the same HDMI cable to the TV.

Unfortunately, it all works automatically and I put t know if you can force your laptop to recognize two TVs on the same path.

In the worst case you have to do it manually in the sound properties > playback devices.
If it works with four mouse clicks you can change.

I tested my laptop with two different TVs.
At home, I have a Toshiba TV and at the office we use Sony. On both automatically get sound on the TV speakers.

If you will be able to find the solution please let us know.

  • Several problems with Satellite A100

    Hello

I was wondering if someone could point me in the right direction with regard to the fixing of my computer!

I have supply problems with my Satellite A100 laptop that I bought in europe 2 years ago. When the battery is run-down completely the computer will not run / start at all when it is plugged into the wall. It shows a light indicating that the battery is in charge even the domain controller in the light does not appear. The laptop must load for at least 1-2 hours before I can activate it. Push the power button to the computer also turn on / off the light sometimes. I can't use the computer at all until the same fully charged battery if light shows it is plugged into the wall. The outlet is fine.

I also have other issues. First of all the computer not as to the rename files - often said that they are used, but they are not. Secondly, I have problems with toshiba recordnow cd / dvd burning program. I can open the program, but when I close it will not open until I have sign out and then sign back in. Thirdly, my computer love is no longer my sony digital camera memory cards if put directlt in laptop - it is said that they can be dangerous and will not access.

    Hello

    regarding your power problem:

It seems that your motherboard is faulty. I had the same issue with an A100 and after replacing the motherboard, the problem has been resolved. They told me it was a kind of resistance or something as preventing the machine from power.

The question of the name change is only registry related since the registry controls the access to the system. So you log on with an administrator account or with a regular account that was created for do not connect as an administrator of the computer?

If not please google for "cannot rename files" that gives results much more then ask someone here. The registry could also be a cause for the issuance of recordnow!

I Don t think that the card of your digital camera and your pc Don t like. Installed antivirus software? This might also be the reason.

In your case, I suggest to bring your machine to an ASP (authorized service provider) and allow them to perform some checkup and proofreading materials.
Back up your important data, and then perform a full restore of your machine (can be done with the recovery media supplied).

    See you soon

  • Problem with Satellite A300 and Vista 64 bit

I just bought a Toshiba Satellite A300-1CO model: PSAJ4E-03R015PT, which came with an impressive 4 GB of ram device.
I knew with Vista 32-bit, only 3 GB would be available, but since I got a license of Vista 64 bit I care, came home and installed it.
When I looked up the drivers on the toshiba site, no drivers for Vista 64 bit drivers were available!
I have now 4 GB or RAM available and I also have problems with face recognition software, microfone, sound card, card reader and a few other things.

I searched the websites manufactors drivers and I managed to get some of these things barely usable, I don't think that it is a SD solution.
Other laptop brands are made available long drivers for vista 64 bit some of them even for XP 64 bit!

I would like to know how long take to Toshiba do official drivers available for vista 64 bit on their Web site.

    Best regards, Pedro P.

I was looking for 64-bit drivers for my laptop, but since this is a new model, the drivers were not yet available. I checked a few weeks later and they were no longer available.

Just wait awhile, they should be available soon.

  • Re: Load problem on Satellite Pro A300

Hi, I try to unravel a laptop from a friend and have hit a bit of the wall... Please someone help ASAP!

    When I start the laptop the usual Toshiba logo and slogan appears, I then come to a black screen with two options;

    1. run the Startup Repair tool
    2 start windows normally,

above this it says that "windows could not start a recent hardware change or software could be the cause.

When I choose the option to run the Startup Repair tool, I come to another screen saying "windows is loading files...". "with a white bar, then charge I am taken to the Microsoft corporation with the common loading green bar loading screen, when it disappears, it takes a while to load but then shows the cursor and a while later, a gray background is also with a message box saying"the installed program cannot start. Click OK to turn off the computer. With this, is that the laptop is. the logo of HDD on the bottom of the laptop is constantly green at this stage.

If I chose to start windows normally, once more the usual Microsoft loading screen with the Green loading bar, it takes some time, but when it goes to a blue screen flashes and I can't see what it says because of flashing if fast, then got back on the screen with the two options mentioned above.

I have no recovery discs that I've seen mentioned and I do not think that my friends is, however I have given manual which seems to be no relief and a resumption of such product supplied with the laptop, I realize that this will completely factory reset laptop, however this will certainly make the laptop runs? Is it possible to save the data on the laptop first? Are there issues various solutions that can work or material that can be purchased rather than using this disk and data loss?

Any help is appreciated as soon as possible!
    Thank you very much!!

Sorry, but I didn't understand your last assignment.
You have the original installation disc of recovery?
You want to install the OS using this disc and have once again the factory settings?

Please note: when you start installation of recovery and before installation of operating system starts, all HARD drive will be formatted and all saved data deleted.

  • Problem with Satellite Pro 4200 series USB (4270)

    Hello

I'm having a problem with my usb port, it doesn't seem to work properly. I did an update of the Bios, which solves nothing. I changed the drivers (Windows 2000 Professional service pack 4) which did nothing either. Plug-and-play does not activate even when I plug something into the usb port. At first I thought that maybe the USB has been damaged, but when I plug my webcam, it lights up briefly, and since it is powered from the usb, I hope this means that the usb port still works. I tried to plug in scanner m, my printer and my camera, with all the different drivers, with which they came. Nothing works. Windows 2000 displays not all conflicts with all the drivers. I've also disabled in BIOS, all other ports (LPT1 COM1 COM2) using the IRQ11. What could be a solution to this problem?

    Hello

Well, as far as know that the operating system is unable to recognize the devices if the external USB device needs more power than the USB port provides. In this case, the USB devices must have an external power supply.
In addition, try to remove the USB port on the Device Manager and restart the operating system.
After the restart of the operating system should recognize the USB ports. Maybe this procedure solves the strange USB problem.

Please let me know if it works.

    Good bye

  • Problems with Satellite A300 - 1GC XP install - CD does not?

    Hello

I have a few looks to round in various forums and found no answer to everything.

I have the Satellite A300-1GC and had (from last night) vista on it. As caused Vista
a lot of problems with different programs, I decided to get rid of him.

The problem is now--if I stick my XP installation CD it it bed "press any key to boot from CD".
Do that and then nothing happens. The CD read head stops going back and forward
but nothing happens at all. Not even the beginning of the blue installation screen.

Any ideas where this comes from?

The CD-rom can also be run in AHCI mode (can a CD player what do I do?) and requires drivers?
I have tried various CD XP - neither work. The last one I had was with SP3 and build in February 2009 so quite recent.

    Clues?

    See you soon
    Tobimaster

    Hello

In your case the question has nothing to do with the SATA mode (AHCI mode or Compatible) but it looks like the CD/DVD drive cannot handle the Win XP disc
    Why? Who knows

Always is it that the CD cannot be read and so the installation can not get.

Try to copy this disc by using another computer and then you can try using the disc copied on order to install Win XP.

Just FYI: I use TDK (CD and DVD) r discs... I am very satisfied

In your control file, EXTERNAL (26) must be INTEGER EXTERNAL (26).

Unfortunately, this forum destroyed the spacing, so I can't say whether or not your data are positionnelles.  If it is positional, you can then use positions, but you need start and end positions.  The positions that you posted have nothing to do with the data you've posted.  If you use positions, you can eliminate the delimiters and the beginning and the end of citations using these positions.

If your data are not positionnelles and you have quotes in your data in quotes, but you don't have the pipe delimiters in your data, then you can only use the delimiters and trim the quotes start and final data.

I have demonstrated the two methods below, using test1.ctl for the positional method and test2.ctl for the defined method.

  • Video problem with Satellite X 200-25 G (PSPB9E)

    Hello

I have this laptop about a year, and I have a problem with (real) Windows Vista, Windows XP (with the video driver change). Video driver is newest without problems, except one.

I work with SolidWorks, and the problem is that in this product. You can see the problem, if you see this link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wi0gCJTJRrg. Parts only to disappear, even if it is a part, one of the wall of the part go missing (shows as mirror) I tested it with any kind of this product (SolidWorks 2008, 2009) Windows XP, Vista x 32, but every time the same thing.

Probably the problem isn't in the product (SolidWorks), no doubt that it is not in the software, the driver and the OS (because I tested with two version of nvidia video driver authentic without no problem installing).
I'm pretty sure that the problem is that video card is not compatible with this product, even the purpose of the video is for multimedia and gaming, which is so close with the work that I do.

Can you give me some advice? Thanks in advance and sorry for my English skills

I think that most people here after watching this video will not understand what is your problem.
In my opinion you should visit the nearest maintainer authorized Toshiba, put your laptop on the desk and explain exactly what kind of problems you have.

Otherway if you have problems with the third party software you should contact the manufacturer and ask for help. They have the best experience with the own product and I think they can help you about this.
Computer laptop major manufacturer offers better built-in hardware driver and offer better graphics performance for habit each day working on this laptop model.

Toshiba and other manufacturers of portable can not test thousands of products available and check the performance of the graphics card.
    Try contacting the support SolidWorks.

    Good luck.

  • Windows XP starts problems with Satellite M30

My M30 has operated for two years until a few days ago when he suddenly would ' t restart after running a Microsoft security update. He gave me different boot in safe mode options, normally, etc., but none of them work.

I was told that if I use my recovery DVDs. It will clean my drive hard and with him all my files. I understand that my Windows XP software is on this DVD - I certainly don't have a disk full. It is true that I will not have the opportunity to try to repair or to cure the problem and if so will it buy an OEM Windows XP and install it separately? Or should I do something else entirely?

Can anyone give me any help would be appreciated.

    Thank you

    Hello

Tried set your windows to an earlier point of your 'system-recovery-point' that appears with the options-> boot in safe mode - boot in safe mode with network - etc.etc...

It this fails, then you need to recover your entire system.

In the first, true it s: you can't heal or repair your system with the recovery dvd, you can just reinstall your entire system and you have an operating system as the first day after you bought this machine.

So, your only choice will be to reinstall your system to correct it, and to avoid the installation of EACH update to Microsoft because I had a lot of problems with some updates that causes my machine to do things like non-boot or some software crashes. It s better to stay informed about updates and install them just after you verified that the isn´t of update affecting your system stability or performance.

To back up your files and recover your system, that you have to do following things:

You said that your system is not initialized, but you need your files.
Just take a UBCD4Win (http://www.ubcd4win.com/) from the Internet and initialize with this CD. You will have access to your files with this WindowsPE on CD and you will be able to back up your data on a USB drive or burn your stuff on the CD.
Now, you need to start the recovery cd and let the automatic installation script do the rest. It will delete your entire hard drive and reinstall the system. After that, you can put the data saved to your hard drive.

I hope that I might be able to help you. If you have any other questions just ask.

    Welcome them

Y at - it advice on what I should do.

Could you please put more details on the model of your laptop and you CD/DVD driver problem? This will be useful for other suggestions.

To be honest I don t think any reset BIOS, the RCT battery remove, etc. is possible or could help you.

  • Problem with satellite L40 12 X graphic card

Hello, I have a problem with my graphics card. I have not now how to enlarge the memory video it s.

    Physical memory: 1015 MB
    Minimum graphics memory: 8 MB
    Maximum graphics memory: 224 MB
    Used graphics memory: 9 MB
    Processor: x 86 family 6 model 14 Stepping 12

I tried to look in the bios but I have not found anything to expand my graphics memory.
    Please help me

AFAIK, you can't increase the manually shared memory.
The graphics driver controls this value automatically and depends on the RAM.
If you want to use more shared memory, then the RAM needs to be increased

I constantly sound with the laptop problems. In Media Player, the error message "Windows Media Player cannot play the file because there is a problem with the audio device... "appears. I have a standard pre installed Realtek Audio thing on my laptop. I tried to download a newer driver from Toshiba support center, but I don't know what to do with the zip file. Also in Control Panel, sounds, everything is gray.

Hope someone can help cos I am going nuts with this :-)

    Thank you

    Hello

The downloaded audio driver is compressed and before you start to install this driver you need to unzip it.
You can use a free software, such as WinZip or WinRAR. You can download it from anywhere.

I recommend that you first remove the sound card driver and Device Manager, and then install the new version downloaded from the page of Tosh.

    Good luck
