Terminal guard opening randomly

Thus, every once in a while... (as both days) I wake up my iMac and notice that my terminal is open. Now, I rarely if ever open it... If it of not like I opened and didn't close it. I have not use this month... Nothing unusual appears in it. It would be like you've opened just on your own... I was wondering if anyone else has this problem and any idea that is this related to?

Hello Darko Ibrahimpasic1,

Thank you for using communities of Apple Support.

I understand from your post that when you wake up your iMac periodically Terminal will open. I know how it is important for your iMac to wake up the way you want that there. I recommend that you check your login items to see if there is anything that could be the cause of Terminal open. This article includes the steps both add and remove items from connection:

  • Why Firefox guard open a new window a lot when you click on a tab to open it.

Firefox guard open a new window every time when I click on a tab to open it. Happens quite a few times per day now and it's annoying.

Versions of Firefox 3.5 and later have a feature called tabs.

You can detach a tab in the current window and open in a new window by dragging a tab in the browser window.

You can drag the tab to the tab bar in the original window to cancel this detachment.

bug489729 (Disable detach and tear off tab):

Start Firefox in Firefox to solve the issues in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > appearance/themes).

I'm about 2 weeks ago and operating Windows 7 the start window began to open randomly for no reason at all. It remains open, then closes or it will close when I click on the screen what ever is open, BUT the start window could then reopen immediately.

Everyone knows about it and how to stop. Should I go back to a restore point or is there another solution? Thank you!

  • Tabs with ads keep opening randomly

everytime I open fire Fox, a random tab opens about every 20 seconds,
every day on a different site. yesterday, it was a site of games today, it was this:
    https://www.lotterymaster.com/free-Lottery/11?offer_id=102 & aff_id = 54 & SourceId = 355 & CreativeId = 18377777 & 5729187 = LineItemId & PublisherId = 738709 & SectionId = 13947420 & aff_sub = 000074083021da0534d448ed7724a4b4b9c16, & incentive_code = 6b20c5b52be7e238414afc9baf80eeb7

    (Sorry for the long link)
I tried to disable some of my modules does not. I scanned my computer with Avast!
and malware bytes. I was not on questionable sites, when it arrives.
I realize, but I think it might be every time I click on a link, a new page
an advertising message opens. It happens on any link once.

    any ideas?

These tabs can be generated internally by (1) an open page or (2) an add-on, or externally by malicious software.

If you open anything but a blank tab (you can type about: blank in address bar and press enter), do ad tabs still open?

If you disable all extensions on the next page and restart Firefox, ad tabs still open?

Orange Firefox button or classic menu Tools > Modules > category: Extensions

If you still get the tabs, you can try to disable the plugins as well:

Orange Firefox button or classic menu Tools > Modules > Plugins category

If that doesn't work either, it's also probably external malware.

You can also try a cache wipe partition recovery. I would say also that you try to remove the WhatsApp icon and then place it on the home screen. I think there was an update recently WhatsApp and icon might just be old and must be updated. I hope this helps.

  • My guard opening calculator

My calculator keeps opening. It opens at random and often - I got 600 calcs are popping up on my screen. I used every possible scan virus and cannot find what is making this happen. Is there a way to disable or remove Calc.exe? Or even rename it.
I even bought a new computer, but it must be linked to a file somewhere on my backup disk because the new computer it is too!
I am running Windows Vista Home premium version 6.0
    Help! It makes me crazy!

You are probably infected with malware.  I don't know what options you have tried, but if you have not already try these: http://www.malwarebytes.org/mbam.php and http://www.safer-networking.org/en/index.html.  You can also try a free trial of Pandasoft (www.pandasoft.com), which is the protection of antivirus and antispyware program that I use and I have not been infected in the 4 years since I started using it.  Keep in mind that you will first need to uninstall your current antivirus software because you can have one installed and running at the same time or you get all kinds of conflicts.  Once it has completed its analysis and repair (and you might be surprised how much he feels that others lack) you can uninstall and reinstall your current antivirus software (unless of course, you decide to keep pandasoft).

If this does not work, you can try renaming (if Calc1.exe) and see if that fixes the problem.  To rename it, right-click on the executable file, click Rename, and then follow the prompts.

    Good luck!  I hope this helps. Lorien - a - MCSE/MCSA/network + / A +.

  • DVD TSSTcorp drive opens randomly on the new Latitude

My DVD drive opens at random.  I have a Latitude d830 (NEW June 2008) with a TSSTcorp DVD +-RW TS - L632H drive and randomly, the drive opens automatically.  I have had this it under several operating systems, XP, Linux, and when it is booting Linux on the same drive.  It seems to be OS independent and is not due to a virus, as he jumped open on a new XP installation before that it never hit the Internet or loaded with other programs.  It opens with no disc in the drive. Also, I tried to update the firmware.  It also did not help. I have upgraded the BIOS as soon as I got the laptop.  I was considering downgrading the BIOS, but after seeing many reviews here and other places with the same defect on other computers, I'm sure it's not a BIOS problem.   I thought I'd call Dell for a replacement because it seems to happen about once a day and embarrassing to be a very new feature.

    Ideas?

  • Topic: downloads of guard opening when I record something

Whenever I have record something (image, video, etc.) a new tab with the url of ' subject: downloads "opens.

Firefox has never done this before for me, and it just started an hour ago. I searched for a setting that stops at this, but I have found nothing that still talks about it.

I don't know what I did for him to start to do this, but every time I try to record something, instead of the download arrow Manager becoming green as it always has, the subject: Downloads tab opens and it passes. I save a lot of images from the internet and saw that same tab open everytime I try to record something makes it almost impossible to work smoothly.

This is extremely annoying and incredibly annoying.

    Help, please!

It is a feature of some modules focus on the download. If you do not want to reset Firefox, you will have to check their options and turn off the feature.

For example, if you use download Panel Tweaks, open the Add-ons Manager (press Ctrl + Shift + A), then the category of Extensions and click on the Options button next to his writing. On the page options, set on download start, open automatically: nothing of.
