  Let's say I have a sheet with a few buttons in the menu. I have three buttons called menu 1, menu 2 and 3. Then I have another file qml tabbedpane with three tabs... I am able to show the tabbedpane when I click on the buttons, but how can I change the active of the tabbedpane tab when the user clicks on the menu 2 and the active tab change 2 tab? How can I achieve this?

  Hi, from your description, you must assign an id to each tab and tabbedpane. Then in the onClicked button slot you write like this

  onClicked: {
        tabbedpane.activeTab = tab2;
  }
  

• Photo date change during transfer to external hard drive from the "Photos" application

  When I try to transfer the images to my request for 'Photo' on my Macbook (OS X Yosemite) to a hard drive external, the dates and times of the images change.

  I would like to transfer only some of my images on the hard drive, so I can't make time machine.

  Is it possible to keep the dates and hours of original photos when copying them?

  Select the photos and export (menu, file == > export)-this will include the Photo with date and time metadata in EXIF/IPTC fields for use by any porgram Photo (you can check this by using Preview)-as you create new files file metadata will obviously be new but we can't change the photo metadata

• How to transfer activation labview on another computer

  We bought Labview 8.5 in THIS Department. It works well, but since the PC must be formatted so we must transfer the Labview activated on another system. How to transfer the activation code to another system? or how to acquire the new activation code based on the series ID and the ID of the computer? Provider does not return.

  You must open the Program Files NI License Manager > National Instrument > NI License Manager. Then select your labVIEW active (green), right click and disable.  This frees up the initial Activation.  Now you can format the PC and not lose activation.

• Terminal Server service not activated

  I downloaded McAfee total protection in October.  It would work for a day or two, then I get a message that wouldn't update.  I have uninstalled & installed four times, contact McAfee three times.  The last time I have contacted, I was told that Services Terminal Server for Windows is not running.  It is disabled and this is why the critical updates for McAfee will not download.

  By McAfee, I learned that I had to contact Microsoft to get a Server Terminal Services active again.

  I suggest you to check whether or not the Terminal Server service is enabled on the system. Follow the steps mentioned below.

  a. Click Start and click Run.

  b. type services.msc in the Run dialog box and press ENTER to open the services window.

  c. find the Terminal Server service on the system and right-click on it.

  d. set the startup type to automatic and then click apply and then click ok.

  e. now checks to see if you are able to download the update for McAfee on the system.

  I changed my motherboard on my PC which is a HP. It is more under warranty so HP are not interested to reinstall Windows it has no activation and automated phone support said that it could not activate either.

  I have the original COA license sticker supplied with the PC.

  You have an OEM version of win provided by HP, not MS, so no MS support

  Try the phone activation, do not meet all the prompts until the opportunity to talk to a real person

• Q10/Z10 - only property needed to change - possible without active selector?

  I'm reviewing my code to the Dev C Alpha and the question came up:

  If I don't have a single property to change in my code QML to operate to the Q10 in comparison to the Z10, is it still necessary to do with the active static selector or is there a different way to minor differences?

  Example something like this:

  color: Q10? Black: white

  Using the static selector active and subsequent management 2 different branches of my code looks like taking a sledgehammer to crack a nut.

  What it the best and the most effective strategy for this?

  I have separate properties in a javascript file called "constants.js" and use the feature active static selection for different constants to load depending on what type of phone is used:

  Assets/720x720/constants.js
  Assets/constants.js

  The two files contain a different value for the constant "Q10":

  var Q10 = true; Assets/720x720/constants.js
  var Q10 = false; Assets/constants.js

  For use in your qml it just at the top:

  Import "constants.js" as Constants.js

  For your example:

  color: Constants.Q10? Black: white

  Seems to work pretty well. I don't know if there is a better method, but it keeps the simple QML which is the main objective of the IMO

  You might find it even simpler if you use color values to your constants, rather than using "Q10".

  i.e.

  color: Constants.myCustomColor

  var myCustomColor = Color.Black;   Assets/720x720/constants.js
  var myCustomColor = Color.White;  Assets/constants.js

  I would also suggest using a current theme selector, rather than the resolution picker (because your variation is due to the combination of colors, rather than the dimensions of the screen)

  initialization of variable auto bpel does not work for array types. You can assign literal xml with blank nodes as below before you assign AssignUserOBSServiceRequest1.

  I made a mess!  Play with the new 4.5 ViewServer I configured transfer server repository directly on my server from view. Now, I created a real transfer server, but I can't change the repository, unless I stop to see serve. But if I stop View server I can't reconfigure the repository...

  in this tutorial http://paulslager.com/?p=624 is teaching you to install the server transfer, put in maintenance mode follow by adding the repository. Please do the opposite way that putting maintenance, then remove the transfer server and the repository will be deleted as well together.

  Here is my delima: I'm finally uses the functionality of Dreamweavers model, and it's great! Except when it comes to my navigation bar. I have a nave bar that changes its wells depending on what link set to the current class... the way it should work is this: If you click on the link the the bar of the nave that says 'about' then you are about us - us.html and then the button on the navigation bar for us is highlighted showing that you are on this page. The code base of the navigation bar looks like this (this is Twitter Bootstrap):

  You never want your navigation in an editable area, because it would mean that a change in navigation would require you to change each page individually.

  Then, you could easily specify which button is 'active' by incorporating a small stylesheet in the editable area of the head of each page:

  (replace "which_button" with the id of the active button on the page in question)

  Hi, this overlaps with the CPS forum topic, I know. But it's more than one Administration section, I think.

  I am moving to Active Directory, and I made the switch to the CPS administration screen. I did a test search and it works very well. I logged in Contribute, and my connections are parties. To create a new connection to the site, the message says "Needs to Contribute to remove the administrative settings." Is there a way to get around this? I have some users and roles. There may be a text file buried somewhere that I can change to keep the settings somehow? I see no way to export the settings of collaboration, as you can do with Dreamweaver site settings.

  Anyone know of a hack for this?

  You can try this: CPS console change on the previous LDAP setting. Now in Contribute create the connection to your site and disable Contribute Publishing Server. In the CPS console, change the setting to Active Directory. Now, in Contribute, select the Contribute Publishing Server. You will lose all the roles, you may need to add users to the appropriate roles so new.

  If you did everything correctly changes will appear in the iTunes Store from the next time it checks the flow - it does in a kind of spin and this can take 1 to 2 days, sometimes longer, for the changes to appear. If you try to subscribe in iTunes, you should see the changes immediately - it is still a useful test.

  I just purchased Lightroom 5 upgrade through our Corporate resellers and I made a mistake with the email address I used in reference to the order. I used my main e-mail address rather than the one linked to my Adobe ID.

  Now, I can't get to the activation to the upgrade page.

  It is almost impossible to find the right place to submit a ticket for support on this site as well.

  Lightroom doesn't require remote activation; all that is necessary is to select registration help/Lightroom and put the number you purchased in the box (24 digits in six groups of four). If it is not already there, check the number of your previous version. After clicking Next, you can (optionally) save the number in your Adobe account, but is not activated. If you have already done this with incorrect information, you can enter new data and click Update.
