  I want to show all the steps within a sequence or group names.

  I wonder if there is a simple function that can be used directly, for example RunState.PreviousStep.Name.

  I tried via a stupid way to add the name of each stage, if it shows all the stage names, but I still think that there is a simple function can access all the stage names.

  Can anyone give me any suggestions, thanks a lot!

  I fiddled a little towards the top of your sequence.  But yes, you have a loop.

• Problem with Virtual PC: can automatically log on to the comments because the host name is added comments user name after you have entered identifying information.

  When activate the integration in Virtual PC features, then the dialog box "Enter your credentials" appears. After entering the username and password of the system cannot connect because the host name is added in front of the user name that I entered. Example: Guest user name is "Admin". The host name is "XYZ". Vrtual PC try to connect as a user "XYZ/Admin" on the comment system. After getting the error message I can manually correct the user name in the normal windows login screen on the client and open a session. However, no saved credentials, to be asked to log on again whenever I have resize the Virtual PC window. Any ideas how to solve this problem? Thank you!

  What is the error message?

  Please try following the steps for the computer to remember the credentials and do not ask the password to open each programs:

  1. when it asks for a password, click Cancel . Without integration feature, you are allowed to log on with an account that do not have a password.
  2. set a password for your current user.
  3. click on Tools , Windows Virtual PC, choose the integration features allow.
  a. type the password, check the box ' remember my references of "and click OK to open a session.»
  b. after joining the domain, logon in XP mode with the local administrator account.

  You can see "PutName" adds the name of the channel 'Spot color 1' to make reference to and I think it will not work properly if I add such a code for my project as the PS can not differentiate the 2 channels than by their name. Can someone tell me if there is another method of selecting channel spot? Thanks in advance.

• How can I get my Teststand report to display only the data of the latest iteration of a loop DoWhile ONLY stage?

  Good so I a DoWhile loop with a numeric value to test.  The loop will run 10 times.  I want only the status of success/failure of the test of the numerical value of the last iteration of the loop is displayed in the report.  I don't like on the other iterations.  Help, please!  Thanks in advance I think that this can be accomplished with the recall of ModifyReportEntry and fancy logic...

  Thanks for your comments everyone.  I ended up changing the reportgen_txt.seq to identify during my test was in a loop (by setting an additional result in the different stages of my comment loop-step to say "Record last loop.".)  Once this indicator lies in the ResultList I turn to reportgen_txt, I have to loop through all the ResultList entries and if the current entry has the same name and the "record last of loop." as a previous entry, I delete the previous entry and store the current.  All this way, I have to do is to set a flag in my test sequence, and if when debugging, I want to see all the data for all the iterations, I just remove the flag.

  The reportgen_txt.seq include:

  C:\Program NIUninstaller Instruments\TestStand 2010\Components\Models\TestStandModels

  I'm not worried about the time constants on my generation of report and I am not limited to stress strict memory so this seemed like the best way for me to do what I had accomplished.  I'm sure there are better ways, but it seemed simpler than the generation of report definition to be disabled and then enabled...

• Renaming of documents by adding an annex of the commune for the names of existing files on several files in a single folder

  Is it possible to add an annex to the town (for example "-file BL ') existing file name (for example"daily reports1) to several (selected) files in the same folder?  (The example given could therefore be renamed "daily reports - comes from the BL file").  I need to do this to identify the source of documents folder when they are copied into a common folder: to compare with the similar files in other folders for various purposes.  There are a lot of documents in many files, I need to transfer and compare.  A rough estimate, it is that I need to add an annex to the town of 200 files named differently in a single folder and repeat this process for 30 files: with my existing knowledge of XP, this means that I would have use the rename individually on 6000 documents, and if the additional annex has been say 5 characters which would be a minimum of 30 000 key strokes : If adding appendages common to several document names selected in a folder is possible, this might reduce the name change to close to 150 list.

  PLEASE NOTE the multiple rename function where each selected file is the same thing with a renamed after the index number in brackets should not be - the original file name should be kept.

  Sorry, Oracle didn't auotmatically hold the order in which the rows were inserted.  If you need to know that, then you will need to save something in the table that will tell you the insertion order, such as a sequence value.

  I get this error "the following names are not found and cannot be added" when I tried to add newly created user for authorization of vCenter/group.

  I am using vCenter 4.1 with the guests of ESXi 4.1 & ESX4.1

  The problem caused by the AD domain and vcenter with the same sid, once change vcenter for a different sid, the problem has been resolved!

• Flash game - is there a way to make the function of stage names?

  I have a game where you are conditioned to the task to collect various objects on the screen. I did level 1 and everything worked fine. Then, I decided to level 2 in a new file. I completed level 2, and deliver level 2 in the main file, however I had used the same lvel object names 1 and level 2. This has resulted in close to 100 errors due to the high amount of bodies and the functions of the same name. I want to know is that you can use code in the action script to ensure that functions and instances are specific locations. For example, to make sure I can use the function 'checkCollision' in the stage 1 and stage 2. Thanks for your time.

  lol you can use the duplicate on the same timeline function names.

  If the functions with the same names are the same, you can simply remove these functions from your 2nd stage.

  or, you can rename these functions.  This can be done using stage names to concatenate with another string and can be automated with jsfl.

• I want to copy all my jpg files to another directory (a portable hard drive) with some of the same names of JPGs, but not necessarily all. What will happen? The word 'COPY', will be some of the deleted files be added or nothing at all.

  I have a LOT of pictures in my computer (over a thousand) and I want to put them on a portable hard drive, I bought (1 terabyte) but I won't write any of the names of existing files with different images. IS THIS POSSIBLE? Do I need software or special hardware? I tried the copy/paste standard as well as move files to the new directory, but it seems that I can lose files. I'm not sure if the files that are missing (or lack, in my opinion) are not copied. When I finished emptying the directory, it shows that it is empty but the new directory does not seem to have any additional files that should be there based on the counting of the files before and after.

  1: right-click and then drag the pix on the external drive. Release the right mouse button and choose copy here. They are there?  Now remove it from the computer.

  2: you can see pix of the same name overwrite each other, or be done with (1), (2), etc.. But even in this case, they will be interspersed with the former. If keep you them in separate folders with different names, that should not happen. Personally, I rename all the pix before storing them. You can select the set instead of the code of the camera and a group, rename the first holiday 2009 yo and the rest will be renamed holiday 2009 and each havf will one (1), (2), (3), after them.

  It is also a nice freeware tool which, among other things, can rename a group of photos easily.

• Adobe Action: Save in JPEG, but stop to make me change the file name?

  I need to save about 100 different JPEG files based on a model with different texts in each JPEG.

  I have my layers put in place a model behind, and all layers of text 100 on each other. So I turn on one at a time the text layers and save as JPEG with different names.

  I find it is a very difficult process, as I select "save under", then scroll the file types to select JPEG, then save it with the desired name.

  Is there a way to speed up, to create an action that opens the dialog box "Save as" with JPEG ALREADY selected so everything what I have to do is paste the new file name in? Or any other suggestions?

  Skip a single step to scroll in the dialog box "save under" select JPEG save me tons of time. But I can not understand how... I can only find a way to create an action to "save under" that bears the same name.

  Why not just save a step select the folder you want to save on save slot, use the drop-down list menu file type select Jpeg and click Save. Stop recording action turn on the Sava in the dialogue of the stage and assign a function to the action button. When you use the key yoh all have to do is name of the file.
