• Shrinking text boxes?

  I am trying to create text in expansion boxes, but if the text does not have the entire text box, is there way to have the text box reduced to adjust to what has been typed.  I have the shrink to fit (height) is turned on, but it does not work.  I forgot something.  Thanks for any help you can give.

  You want to reduce the TextField either horizontally or vertically? If horizontally, then try the following.

  Click the Expand to fit the box under width.

  In the case of the output of the object TextField write the following script.

  Excuse what probably is a very basic question, but although he had nearly 20 years of experience in graphic design, I am a relative noob when it comes to Web design. I have a landing page, I'm doing for a client (Dropbox - AYIN Website.zip ) which has the address and other contact information at the bottom right of the page, including a hyperlink to the email address. I searched the forums, but can't seem to find this particular issue, my apologies if I forgot the previous discussion.

  What I would like is this text box resize as-is as well as the rest of the page, as if it were an image embedded in the background; However all the combinations of parameters that I've tried so far can't meet this goal. The size remains the same when the window is reduced, and the text of the winds all the way at the bottom of the page, broken on more lines there originally. The logo resizes correctly, why the text will not do that?

  You want textsize to shrink, when the browser window is reduced to a minimum? More browser/screen, plus the text window?

  If you really need something like that, write your text in Illustrator and export it as an SVG graphic. Or use a system font, forcing Muse, to convert the text into an image, which will reduce proportionally just as each image.

• Can I change my text box proportionally? I want to keep it in the square when the scaling!

  I love the sensitive provision, with the exception, why the text boxes cannot restrict or keep its proportions when I resize the browser window? I do a page portfolio, and in my home page, when I place the image, descriptive text rises. But when I resize the window it creates lots of space! For now, I did a lot of breakpoints where I manually scale the text box to be squared... Is it possible to make the balance of text box proportionally? I want to keep the square I adapt the browser window. Or is there an alternative? I like the SMART QooQee widget, but I need something for free.

• Recorded an assessment and it get stuck in text box entries

  I am using Captivate 3 and have been successful in the record of assessments in the past.  Now I record a tutorial on how to add pictures to a word document, resize them, the crops and the title and comment on the photo.  The tutorial has what I call a 'show me' then a ' try me '.  The demonstration (show me) works very well.  Assessment (try me) I record directoy after the demonstration includes the entries in text box and it is the first time one of my assessments included those, and they seem to be my problem.  First "interesting" thing that happened was that the text boxes is across the width of my project, so I had to shrink them down in the target area.  Once I got in the zone I and I run the project, everything works perfectly until I have to text entry areas.  I am able to enter text... but that's all.  I can't move or click anywhere else.

  I enclose the screenshots... not sure that this will help.

  1. First screenshot is the first entry in the text box. where the living room of words should be typed.
  2. Second screenshot is the next slide when I thought that I should be able to go down and place an X next to all the paintings.  BUT as you can see I went from the text a little box and there is no evidence of the words salon.
  3. Third screenshot is where I went from the entrance area of text upward slightly to see only the word life is available, BUT it looks like now, he wants me to click next to paint all the... but at the same time waiting for the word room complete.  (It so I hope that makes sense)
  4. The last screen shot shows the entrance of the living room full and now it seems that he wants me to check next to paint all EXCEPT I can't get past the first screen shot.

  It is not very clear on your screenshots, but it seems to me that, in the first screenshot, the text entry box is inactive from the outset (looked at the timeline). Ditto for the second and fourth screenshot. Only the third seems to have an active region for ETB. An interactive object that is set to inactive, according to me, you can have no interactivity. Could check you?

  Entry in BER must be confirmed: a Submit button (is not here) or a shortcut (default is to Enter). What did you choose?

  You talked about TEB spread over the whole project, which could mean that in the tab Options of the properties of the BER, the option "Display for the entire project" has been activated in the calendar. It is here that you can change the calendar and the active/inactive time period.

  Maybe it was the explanation that you need?

• text box appears for the accents on letters

  I have a new iMac dating a week who continues to appear in the text box for the accents and resumes typing (slowly). Support contacted today, they don't know, reset pram or something, no change. I have to restart the iMac to clean so I can type, takes about 10 minutes.

• the pages for iOS - how to resize a text box and forms manually

  I added text boxes to my sheet. However, I can't get close to the size I want, which is not noticeable to someone else, but I wish they were accurate.

  example: I want to 1inchx4inch. but now the box and adjusting the size I can get 1.02x3.98. 99x4.01, etc.

  I know it still looks the same as the sizes are extremely close, but if there was a way t adjust by entering the desired size that I would rather do.

  If it is a file that you edit on your Mac you can certainly do here in the Inspector.

  If you are only in iOS with this you can try zooming in - you can have more control over it.

  When you use pages any image or text box 'disappears' or moves if an another image/text is placed too close however to Keynote when it isn't a problem. This function can be disabled?

  Select the two text boxes and tab organize, assign automatic voice against zero dressing. Now, these two items are more questions of mutual polarity, and the boxes don't repel each other. It is a parameter object, and not an application setting permanent.

  Since upgrading to Firefox 36.0.1, generated by InfoPath 2010/SharePoint 2010 multi-line text boxes is no longer move to the new lines when the text is entered. Like a lot of text is entered, the cursor remains on the first line.

  36 Firefox in March in favor of the white space in < textarea > style property controls for the first time. So, if the control has a white-space: pre rule, then Firefox will wrap is no longer text in version 36 +.

• Text box has no wordwrap on developer eddition?

  I use the FF deveooper (such as the debugger FYI) edition but I have a problem now.

  Since the upgrade today, text boxes in some of the forums I visit is no longer have wordwrap in them. I checked the settings and can not find them. I also searched the topic: config and not got anywhere. I saw two var there.

  Anyone got a clue?

  You can click on the right than the text box and open the Inspector to see if there is a such envelope this rule and if not add it, and possibly use the userContent.css file to define such a rule.

  I'm not sure to understand what happens when the text inline boxes are dragged - I have 6 on a page that are the width of the page but different heights and I would like to re - order them so they mix it up or down depending on where I drag them, but at the moment they go to the bottom of the page or disappear completely I can't work on the behavior.

  I think there must be a way of formatting.

  Select each text box and if you use v5 Pages, visit the reorder menu and text wrapping set to None. Now, the text box are not repellent, and you can position them as you please. If you always use the Pages ' 09 and then again, select each text box and the Wrap Inspector, deselect object causes wrap.

  You do not separately add text boxes, you simply choose the page layout a layout with text boxes.

    I am a web developer working on with web sites. I am a regular user of fire fox , previously i sent an issue about search option in fire fox browser,  i am very much happy to see change in the search option in browser recently. Presently i got an issue in browser about select and text box ... i'm not able to view them properly i mean the text is breaking ... sample i opened yahoo browser .. i was shocked to see breakable text .i will attach screen shot if possible. please fix this as soon as possible.

  You can not attach a screenshot in the first row who starts a thread, but you can do it in subsequent responses.

  What the font is used to display this text?
  You can select "Inspect element" in the context menu to open the Inspector (Firefox/tools > Web Developer).

  Many issues of the site can be caused by corrupted cookies or cache. To try to solve these problems, the first step is to clear cookies and cache.
  Note: This will be you temporarily disconnect all sites, you're connected to.
  To clear the cache and cookies to do the following:
