  I tried to find a code in which a text in the text box A trigger text in the text box B.  I am currently using a code that works when I type text on the form itself.  However, when I have the pdf file, run through a program that fills in advance the text in A text box, it does not trigger text in the text box B.

  I'm trying to create a form that has fields required in it. I know that Adobe Acrobat is a great way to say "Hey, you must complete this part of the form...." "so what I wanted to do was put an overlay of a text box on top of the question, so they can't jump some criteria in the form. For example, if my name is John and my last name is Smith I would like the first (first name) box is visible and the second box (surname) to be hidden until I enter any name such as John, Joe, Chris, Abigail, etc..

  Is it possible that there is that the availability of hide a box of text over the expression until something has a value contained in the previous question?

  Sorry, I'm a newbie to creating forms and would like to get help on this situation.

  Answered my own question. Must have a "!" in front of the = so that any text!

  It is possible that the screen is too high and the scroll bar and the search bar and the bar of the add-on to fall down.

  Open the system menu via Alt + space and see if you can resize the window.
  
  If it works then close Firefox (file > exit/Quit) to save the setting.

  There is no API to determine this, but there's one thing to understand. Basically, you can ask the size of the text with and without overflow range and see if the sizes are different. If they (probably the "with overflow" would be bigger!) it means that you have the formidable [+].

  Some examples of code:

• Transformation of text box handles does not

  Hi all

  When you attempt to change the size of a text box, the text transformation handles do not register a click.

  So, essentially, once the text box has been developed at the outset, I can't re - size.

  Does anyone else have this problem?
  I use the latest version of Photoshop shipped updates to creative cloud. And this problem seems to have happened overnight.

  Any ideas?

  Then, when I try to click and drag on a handful of corner or transformation, the click does not record and photoshop simply disables the text box.

  Yes, it's the same thing, just an easier way to do it. I've seen this happen with Illustrator and how it was fixed was by reinstalling Illustrator, but I don't know if that will apply with Photoshop.

• Text run horizontally through the two text boxes

  I am trying to run the text between the two areas of text, but in a continuous manner. Essentially, we have disclosed no claimed that crosses a spread. Someone, that is created is no longer here, two text boxes (one on each page) and has managed to take the text where the first line in the first text box has continued in the second text box and then wrapped into the first text box and then continued in the second text box and so on.

  So with the paragraph above text might hit the left text box to "Essentially" and continue to "we" the first line of the text on the right box. Go overboard and then to the second line of the left text box continuing to the second line of the text on the right box. And so on. I can't understand what they have done, but I'm sure it's something simple in InDesign.

  Note: these are areas of unique text, not two columns in a text box.

  I see it. The text is flowing the way it does in mine. Who are soft return characters at the end of each line in the first screenshot, and # is a marker of the end of history. The lines were manually arranged and set frame on the left. This means that if you add a few words it will crumble.

  I have a project where the student must solve a problem by looking at a series of graphs, each being identified by a numerical code. In the project, I have a text box where I want the user to enter an ID (I considered to use buttons, but in the actual application for which students are lead they are looking for by number, so I figure I should try and which mimic).

  The action of success for the text box is a conditional action that sets the State of an otherwise invisible button to a State that displays the graph in a part of the screen. The button would then become visible, and clicking it returns to the default state (invisible button, no graphics). "Else" for the conditional action displays a generic message "is not the graph you're looking for.

  OK, so I'm pretty proud of myself for coming up with this, but there is a problem: it seems that even if it is set to infinity attempts, once the text box has a 'success', it does nothing for the following entries.

  I've found a workaround, but it's a bit of a hack: give the next slide action on enter which brings us back to the previous slide, "reloading" text box so it behaves as expected. Of course this will make navigation difficult, and it's just a messier solution I want.

  Does anyone know a better way to do it?

  Do not use the default TEBs button, uncheck the display/view button. Use a button that is not attached to the ETB.

• Effect of scrolling text box does not

  I am designing a Web site that uses scroll opacity effects and there is a text box that I've created to fade at the bottom of the page when the user scrolls. However, although this effect worked well yesterday, it stopped today, the text box is simply invisible. (screenshot below). The strange thing is the price is also a text box using exactly the same effects of opacity still scroll which seems in good condition. I will note that the area of text without appearance was originally a block of text related to the use of system fonts, which has since been converted to web fonts. Please can anyone provide any assistance or advice to solve this problem?

  

  Thanks for your reply. The problem occurred again even after a new text box has been created, but after several tries it now seems to work again.

• Expandable text boxes continue on the next page?

  So I'm still new to do with LiveCycle Forms. I managed to get about 95 percent of the done form. What I can't understand is how to get a subform with two expandable to be returned on the second page text boxes. Any ideas? I read that "technically" it isn't a second page that it was all based on the hierarchy but, I have a second page "(sans titre Subform) (page2.") I want the subform with expandable text boxes ended on the second page and push the content down. So far, all I got is for information to cut at the bottom of page 1.

  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  given that your text box is inside a subform that is on a Page, you must ensure that each of the elements who are the parents of the textbox are all resolved Flowed content

  Also, make sure that each parents are allow to jump to Page content

  You can find these options in the object palette > subform

  

  Also, make sure that your text box has Page breaks allow within the content option 'checked '.

  Dear all

  I spent ages setting up a quiz in Captivate 8 allows partial scoring on several slides and then provides feedback to the accepting of a quiz on correct/incorrect responses.  Because the partial scoring options from Captivate are so limited, I had to make abundant use of the advanced Actions number of (a) the number of correct answers (assigned to a variable called "c1") and then (b) if some but not all the answers are correct, display a text box stating the number of correct answers.  The text in the text box is simply "You got $$ c1$ $ right." and results in the text box saying 'You're right' 2 If c1 is 2.

  However, for some reason any highlighting in the text box turns off if I put a variable in there.  For example, if the text box has the normal orange highlight given to partially correct captions, this nail does not appear if I include the variable, but it does not appear if I simply say "Partially correct.".  Does anyone know how I can fix this you problem?  I have searched previous questions on this site and on the internet but couldn't find anything.  I also tried to clear the cache of Captivate on my computer, but it does not help this problem.

• How the text box will automatically solve a margin decline (manuscript Prep)

  I'm trying to prepare a manuscript for self-publishing (what have I got myself?) and hit another wall.  After setting the margin of the 200 page manuscript (all 200 pages imported from MS Word doc as a text image area), I decided that I needed the smaller margins.  After that, I noticed that the words/text box has not been changed accordingly: the words overlap the new margins.  As a notice of InDesign/stupid, I can't understand a how do I get the text box to fit new, smaller margins of pages at the same time (and I believe there is a better way to manually edit each page individually).

  Advisor?  Any help appreciated.

  If the document is not sufficiently complex already make a new document 1 page with correct and verified margins "master text frame. Taking command or control and passage click on the margin to release your text block. Empty all your text in the image. It will automatically add pages as needed and adjustments as it will be a snap. To work with InDesign, the way sounds are that you will pay with impatience.

• Japanese fonts are cut by pix 2 or 3 on each text box, among other...

  I was really hoping that this issue would be resolved with Captivate 4, but no luck.  I'm working on a Japanese English PC inputing through an IME, and each unique text box has problems.  Or fonts are cut on the top by 2 or 3 pixels, otherwise they swell in somewhere between a normal font and a bold font.  Not a single text box will make what it looks like in Captivate before I saw it.  Everything looks wonderful in Captivate, but no matter how I saw or make, it's just awful.

  Any help is very appreciated!

  First of all, I assume you mean legends of text here?

  Assuming I'm reading correctly, I wonder if you tried to set the margins for the legend type you are using. For example, if you use the type of legend blue Adobe, when we look at where Captivate has been installed

  (for me on my own PC for Captivate 4, I look here):

  D:\Program Adobe Captivate 4\Gallery\Captions)

  You should see the files ending with .fcm.

  For the type of blue legend Adobe, find you five of them:

  

  If you change each and adjust the margin values. Then create a new project and use the legend type Blue Adobe. See if that makes a difference in the appearance of the font. I am not sure, it will be, but it can't hurt to try. Who knows, it may just solve the problem.

• Text box Inset Guides

  InDesign CS4 does ' t seem to show margin Text Box Locket as guides when the text box is selected only once with the selection tool (IE not dble click to change the text). The inset values can be discerned by opening the text frame Options dialog box, but in CS2, they would be visible as the guides (who helped with exact alignment) when the text box has been selected once. Note: when the text box is dragged to the new position they appear momentarily all in being dragged - not a lot of use! Any help much appreciated.

  Dave Saunders posted some tips some return to about bringing old documents to new versions of ID and it is becoming clear that it is indeed good advice... export the document to INX first.
