Text short indexed on a filter

Hi guys,.

I created a prompt to filter the field "Indexed short text 1" on a dashboard. I have already create the filter "indexed short text is fast" on the detailed report. However I have nothing even if I paste the exactly the text in this field on my guest.
It is possible to filter a short txt on dashboards on the diameter OUTSIDE of CRM?
Thanks in advance

Rafael

Absolutely, you can use a short text indexed as guest of filter field. Make sure you build the guest and the report from the same area and check your fields and settings. You can start with a very simple guest + report in order to help solve the problems.

    Jon,

    It was a problem with the deployment model that I used to create my application reference for short. It slipped when I used the deployment model provided with application of CRS in the ATG installation folder. I changed all references to the CRS by switching my name reference app customized for my project. In fact, I was using one that has been provided to Discover that gave me the SOAP exception. Ideally, it should work with any templater deployment. So using ATG provided model of deployment resolved the problem.

    Thank you

  • Set the position of the cursor in the text added (to make the part of the text in index) in WORD using Report Generation Toolkit

    I would like to generate a report in WORD using the report generation toolkit.

    Whenever a text is added to the report, the program should put part of the text index. The problem I am facing with is to set the cursor position in the current location of the text.

    Any suggestions?

    Hello!
    I think that's what you wanted (see attachment).

    First, you must set position for each loop, so after adding the table, your cursor index need to increase the number of added characters. That's why I have included the text of the report, Append - to get the position of the cursor at the end.

    Indexing begins with 0, so you need to set the 3 and 7.

    Hope you get what I mean

  • text for the AF:table filter selection

    Another niggle, this time with af:table filters user interface. I don't know if they are designed to behave this way, but it's a problem for us. Happens in IE, Firefox, Chrome, and probably others.

    In the table on the following page:
    http://jdevadf.Oracle.com/ADF-richclient-demo/faces/components/table/filterableTable.JSPX

    Click in one of the column filters, type something like SIMPSAN. Now, I want to fix my fault for obvious typo to SIMPSON. If I click on the text I typed, everything is selected. I can delete and retype my filter text. However, I just want to change a character, I find it quite impossible to not have this behavior 'select all' - i.e. I can't click on 'in' the word, or use cursor left keys to the right to navigate to the fault of strike.

    It is not the end of the world to type a name again, but if you made a mistake on a 12 characters ID...  :-)

    Is this a feature? If so, how can I disable it?

    Kind regards
    Barry.

    Hello

    Since it is not impossible to keep the string is entered, I filed this as a request for improvement, not a bug. The ideal behavior would be that a click sets the cursor where you clicked on to. If the user wants to replace the entire entry it can press ctrl + click after.

  • How to put text user_datastore indexes in different tablespace

    I am trying to create a user_datastore text index in a different tablespacce

    I do not see a preference here:

    http://download.Oracle.com/docs/CD/B28359_01/text.111/b28304/cdatadic.htm#i1006810

    So I can't put it here:

    BEGIN
    ctx_ddl.create_preference ('event_store', 'user_datastore');
    ctx_ddl.set_attribute ('event_store', 'procedure', 'event_search_pkg.event_filter');
    ctx_ddl.set_attribute ('event_store', 'TYPE_SORTIE', 'CLOB');
    END;

    And if I try to put a different tablespace here I get an error:

    CREATE INDEX event_index ON events (index_col) INDEXTYPE IS ctxsys.context
    PARAMETERS ("event_store of the data store") TABLESPACE ENCRYPTED_TS

    Because I can't do it with a domain index. Put parameters doesn't work either:

    CREATE INDEX event_index ON events (index_col) INDEXTYPE IS ctxsys.context
    PARAMETERS ("datastore event_store
    storage ENCRYPTED_TS)

    Is there a way I can create an index of user_datastore using a different tablespace?

    First of all keep in mind the index itself can be assigned to a specific tablespace, but it's really irrelevant what the index itself does not store. It's the underlying tables to index such as DR$ indexname$ I,... $R, $X etc which occupy space and these can be assigned to specific storage using a [preference STORAGE | http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/B28359_01/text.111/b28304/cdatadic.htm#i1008935].

    The fact that you are using a data user store makes no difference: it is the same for all types of data store.

  • Text of Oracle installed but cannot find anything through the full-text index

    Hello

    I have an Oracle 10 G (10.2.0.4) 64-bit on a Windows 2003r2 64 bit (sp2) database. I also installed the Oracle text:

    Oracle Text
    VALID 10.2.0.4.0

    Then, I created some preferences and created the index of full text:
    create index afindex on docs (document) indextype is ctxsys.context parameters ('storage gdoc_store SYNC (ON COMMIT)');

    so with the syn on validation, it should immediately be viewed in the index.

    I for example in 1 table 6 documents (word, pdf,...), the other has more documents then 64000 and 3rd over 425000.

    In any of the 3 above, research on text gives result after the index is created. Not in the developer program and in sqlplus.

    Search sql, for example:

    Select the id from docs where contains (doc, 'hello') > 0;

    under the c:\windows\temp, I see on 380files with drgibXXXXX, so it does not index them?

    What could be the problem?

    Note that I have a lot of other databases, where I also use Oracle text and there is no problem, only difference is the 32 <>- 64-bit.

    error in ctx_index_error is:

  • (9.2.0.5.0) 9i - Oracle Text - Indexing of Oracle files on the FTP server

    I'm using Oracle 9i (9.2.0.5.0) and I cannot upgrade to a newer version of Oracle DB.
    I am new to this technology, and I have not tried it yet myself.

    I was reading some articles, documents or references on Oracle text technology and I find that Oracle text must be able to create an index of context on files residing on the FTP server.
    I also discovered that, for this purpose, a 'URL_DATASTORE' should be used.

    I'd be happy if someone can answer my question before I decide to start using this technology:
    Is there a limitation that I should be informed when creating index of context on files residing on the FTP server? (file size limit, limitation of the types of files supported)
    -In the creation of the index process are the files indexed, downloaded and copied in the Oracle database permanently or only temporarily until the index is created?
    -Everything is of incremental indexing (when I add new files in the data store that I don't have to rebuild the entire index)?
    There there a formula between context index disk size and the disk size indexed files?

    Kind regards

    Michal

    Is there a limitation that I should be informed when creating index of context on files residing on the FTP server? (file size limit, limitation of the types of files supported)
    Maximum file size is configurable up to 2 GB. No limitation on the file type from the data store itself, but if you want to process binary file list filter suported file formats will apply (see the appendix in the Administrator's guide)

    -In the creation of the index process are the files indexed, downloaded and copied in the Oracle database permanently or only temporarily until the index is created?
    That temporarily

    -Everything is of incremental indexing (when I add new files in the data store that I don't have to rebuild the entire index)?
    The question, I suspect that you see this as a robot - you expect to provide the address of an FTP site and have it look for all documents. This isn't how it works. Instead, you must place all of the URLS in a table, and text will index these URLS (and only these URLs)

    If new files are added, you must reorganize somehow having the new lines added to your table. Then the text will do an incremental update, it will not have to rebuild the entire index.

    There there a formula between context index disk size and the disk size indexed files?
    It varies a lot depending on the data types and indexing of selected options, but a typical result is that the index will be 40% of the total size of the file. However, if the documents are in the format (for example, Word, PDF) the percentage will be much smaller.

    Hello Experts,

    I installed oracle trade crs 11.1 with short and able to search the content (default) in the site.

    I want to add the new property to be searched on the site. Here are the steps I followed.

    1. added the new property in atg/commerce/endeca/index/product-sku-output-config.xml.

    2 adding data to this property for some products to research.

    3. run the "partialIndex" to the component/atg/commerce/short/index/ProductCatalogSimpleIndexingAdmin /.

    After execution of 'Partial Index', I am able to see these new properties of the data in the location by going to http://localhost:8006/endeca_jspref/controller.jsp.

    But I'm not able to find that content in the store.

    Am I missing something? Please let me know what are the steps to follow.
