• IFilter does not read/index pdf secure

  Hello

  In this context, I made for a file secure PDF means pdfs which do not allow users to print the document and copy text and images, rather than a PDF file protected by password. Thus, this file can be read as if they are open with the reader. However, this will also cause the ifilter unable to read/index of its contents. Curiously, however, the former PDF ifilter 6.0 is able to index these files, but not for the most recent pdf ifilters.

  Ifilter future releases will allow such index pdf files? What is a decision not to implement this design?

• Reading port com1 through LabView

  Hi all!

  I create an application that will receive the data sent by the software installed on your computer. The software communicates with the hardware dedicated via usb connector. In the software, it is possible to choose the COM_x (x = 1, 2, 3...) port and baud rate.
  The purpose of this application is to follow the data sent to the material in order to control it as the data sent.

  The questions are:

  How to display the computer COM port in the LabView environment?

  And you need to install the driver-s for this? What is?

  The COM port is available on your computer should appear in the NOT-max software?

  Unfortunately, I couldn't find this information and I need help for this application.

  So another piece of software on the same computer has a serial port control and sends data through it.  You want to intercept these data?  Unfortunately, LabVIEW can do that.  LabVIEW will take control of a serial port and have full control of it.  It will not share a port with another software.

  Now if you made a loopback cable and used a second port, your LabVIEW program can read the data from this port.

• Impossible to enter the Inbox in outlook, but can read my messages through NTL?

  Do not give up yet. In the old identity. Tools | Accounts | Mail | Properties | In general. Uncheck the box: "include this account...". ».

  Switch to the new identity and send yourself a test message. If you don't get it, check your settings again. There is no reason it should not work.

• Print is too small to read when printing through WMWare Fusion 6 for Windows on a Mac

  When I try to print word or excel documents, printing is tiny.  I tried to reformat and change the size of the text, but even if the data only use a couple of columns and takes less than a page of text, it prints on half superior to A4 in lowercase characters.  I tried to link to both Mac and Windows with the same result.

  Help please my eyesight is not good enough to read my documents when printing via Windows.

  It is the printer passthrough technology, any printer installed on the host Mac can be used on a virtual Windows computer with VMware tools installed. The printer name contains #: 1 or #: 2 suffix.

• Text short indexed on a filter

  Hi guys,.
  
  I created a prompt to filter the field "Indexed short text 1" on a dashboard. I have already create the filter "indexed short text is fast" on the detailed report. However I have nothing even if I paste the exactly the text in this field on my guest.
  It is possible to filter a short txt on dashboards on the diameter OUTSIDE of CRM?

  Absolutely, you can use a short text indexed as guest of filter field. Make sure you build the guest and the report from the same area and check your fields and settings. You can start with a very simple guest + report in order to help solve the problems.

• (VBS CS2) Need help for indexing: creating a page reference

  A little more information if this can help: this process of building the story with words or corresponding indexed expressions through 30 + chapters for a total of 500 pages in the final book. The index is at the end of the book is created via the normal InDesign menu commands.

  As I said earlier, in classic VB there are void and functions. A Sub doesn't return anything, and its settings are not surrounded by parenthesis. A function returns a value and its parameters are surrounded by parentheses.

  For example

  Msgbox "This is a sub"
  result = Msgbox("This is a Function")
  

  even if the same command is used, it changes the rules when you return a value.

  (Please note this wackyness changed in vb.net)

  If you wan't to deal with a Sub in function, you can add the "Call" keyword before the Sub.

  For example

  Call Msgbox("This Sub acts like a Function")

• iOS 10 and iBook. Can someone help me change my iBook to actually resemble a book reading?

  Hello, I am looking for help for iBooks and iOS 10.  Before iOS 10 I could read my iBook in landscape and actually looked like a book I would read if I bought it, but now if I read a book and a landscape I'm not seeing that more in iBooks, now that I'm in class place my iPad iOS 10. Can someone help me?

  I understand that when read your ebook in iBooks for iOS 10 reviews landscape you're used to seem a little different in the version update of iBooks. With the updates and upgrades will come from small changes in the way in which your apps to display its contents. If you are still able to read the book through view of landscape, this we know that the application works as expected. You can try to adjust the appearance of the iBooks app to have it look exactly as you wish during playback in landscape mode.
  
  

  Change the appearance of your books

  You can adjust some features of some ePub books or some books created with iBooks author, including:
  Size of the font. Choose from the included fonts. For the moment, cannot install and use custom fonts.
  Text color and the background. In iBooks 4.0 or later, you can use three themes: white, sepia and night. (Select option at night to read books in the dark.) Turn on the Auto-nuit theme to automatically switch to the theme of the night in low light.

• Where do my reading entries missing from the list?

  I use the Dev edition and all of a sudden the feature list reading disappeared. It is always enabled in topic: config.
  If this feature will be replaced by Pocket, it must be a way to migrate this content. Mine has postponed about 100 readings.

• IPod classic audio books reading and entertainment VW golf system is blurred

  An interesting problem.

  I used my 3 year old, iPod classic (160 gb) via the entertainment system in my VW Golf of 2014 without difficulty using the VW (at the time) the connector cable supplied

  Earlier this week, I have acquired a new Golf and connected the iPod to the Golf using a connection cable usb/30 pins.

  Book audio playback (my main use) is distorted (as if it runs at high speed). Music playback is fine

  However, if I connect the iPod, then select an audio track via the car's entertainment system menu, audio playback is fine.

  If I turn the engine off then come back to the iPod, playback is still blurred

  I can live with that, but it means tedious navigation through the menu in-car entertainment system whenever I log in order to get correct audio book reading.

  The adjustment of the audiobook reading speeds available through the iPod settings have no effect

  Ideas and suggestions gratefully received

  However, if I connect the iPod, then select an audio track via the car's entertainment system menu, audio playback is fine.

  Is there another way to play the audio book?  Looks like it's the normal way of playing the audio book.

• DAQmx read slowly measurement

  I am still fairly new to LabView, only it uses about 5 months, so bear with me.

  I'm trying to understand why the DAQmx playback function runs slower I expect.  I use a PCIe-6363 map connected to two BNC-2110 connector blocks.  I run the attached code (Position AOM control_prod_cons) and producer while the loop takes about 14 ms to execute.  Here's why this is a question:

  The Subvi belongs to a larger structure that we use in our research lab to run our system of construction craft nanofabrication.  You are using a computer-controlled turntable (wise move task), monitors of reading of the scene (spot monitor sensor) sensor and control a shutter that controls power to the sample (Subvi with lightning) laser.  Up to 4 outputs analog and three analog inputs.  The scene is being ordered to move in 5 steps of nanometer to a speed of 50 micrometers per second, a rate of analog output of 10,000 samples per second per channel (3 of them).  The shutter has a rate much more low yield, at most 5 samples per second.  Our goal is to synchronize the movement of the scene with the shutter, and so we must read the exact position of the scene using the analog inputs, one for each axis, x, y and z, vote as often as possible, even if in reality it didn't need to be more than one read each ms.

  AOM control_prod_cons position takes two points in space that we wish to move between two points where the shutter must open/close.  The first image in the flat sequence did some vector calculations to get the line that we write out the origin of the octant where x, y and z be positive by adding or subtracting, then making reflections around axes, if necessary.  The end of x, y and z values (which are now all positive) are summed and placed later in the sequence.  Coordinated sensor monitor are then read in (loop producer) and turn the same way coordinates the target have been transformed (consumer loop), then compared with the values of (x + y + z) end and start (0) and adjusted accordingly shutter. (For troubleshooting purposes, "off" is 2.5 and read the text file we entered to extract structure).

  All the tests I've done so now tell me that the loop of the producer is the rate limiting step.  For a line that is 30 microns long, with the displacement of scene I described above, I was 45 or 46 readings, that works on a read (on the three channels) once all the ~ 14 ms, or only 72 samples per second per channel, which is * very * slow for the card and is not acceptable for our application.  Am I missing something?  Why the producer loop takes 14 ms per iteration?  I tried to reduce the sampling frequency of writing to 1000 samples per second per channel, but that did not alter the reading rate, so I'm not sure I can cela pins on the map.

  I ran the DAQmx read function as a NChannel 1sample, read in a while loop like I do in more complicated VI, reading of the three analog inputs in a very simple VI who only reads the sensor monitors and nothing else and the reading rate was 2750 samples per channel (read 5000 samples through three channels in 1800 ms) , so I know that the card can read that fast.

  I've also attached the highest lying VI that sets up the physical channels for adding information.  I am also attaching a VI where the producer/consumer framework is not used.  Also, this while loop took ~ 14 ms to exploit.

  Sorry, that was so verbose, just try to do what I'm trying to erase.  If you have any other questions, please just ask.  Thanks in advance for your help.

  Well I'll be darn.  The "task AO is?" query seems to be the culprit.  I have no memory of being always aware that there was such an expensive application.  I don't know if I tried to make such a request in a tight loop before, but I'm a little surprised by the fact that I'm surprised.  I don't know if anything is changed, but in case it's a secondary-ish effect, I use the new DAQmx 16.0

  Another approach would be to use a property DAQmx writing node to query the Total number of the samples.  It seems quite a bit faster.

• Why is the DAQmx Read VI so slow?

  Hello everyone.

  I'm using Labview 8.5.1. and NI-DAQmx 8.6 and I wonder what is actually done the DAQmx Read VI.

  I want to measure is a signal of 1 kHz. To do this, I use a similar to the attached VI (a pulse signal of 1 kHz is used to trigger and sample clock).

  Time the DAQmx Read VI must perform is longer than the acquisition time you would expect 250ms (rather 100ms to measure 100 samples at 1 kHz, time is usually around 350 ms, 1000 samples is ~ 1250 ms). The time depends not on the number of channels in the task.

  So my question is what happens when the reading DAQmx VI is called. What I want is: wait next trigger signal, and then acquire the number specified samples, then read buffers samples and return them. Is it possible to force this behavior?

  For your application and hardware, you should use DAQmx controls Task.vi to commit your task before your loop.  Inside the loop, and then you had to play/start/stop the task.  DAQmx uses a state machine to Control Panel tasks and run time.  As writes, when you cal DAQmx Read, DAQmx will see that you have a task that has never been configured.  Therefore, it will look at all the settings that you make on the task, check their accuracy, all the necessary resources book, write the hardware configuration, and then start your task.  Once the specified data has been read, it will relax this state machine to put the task in a State not configured.  Therefore, every time call you Read, DAQmx if through all state transitions.  If you commit your task before the loop, DAQmx would not re - check your settings or need material to re - schedule each passage in your loop.  That being said, there will still be some time adding every iteration of the loop where you must stop and restart your task and meanwhile you can miss a trigger.

  If it is really not acceptable for you to miss a trigger, you might consider adopting a design in which read you continuous data and then use release to follow the relevant sections of the data.  Another alternative would be to look at DAQ hardware X series line, because these devices trigger support in hardware (that is to say... They may retrigger unless you need to stop and restart your task).

• By reading a RS-485 or Ethernet hub. ??? and HOW?

  I need to get some Signal compensator for measuring the power SET of the flowmeters turbine. Signal conditioners that I give a RS-485 output, but I don't know if they can be read by LabVIEW...?

  All devices connect via an RS-485 bus to the serial RS-485 adapter.

  I have 2 options (also illsutarted in the attached figure.).

  a. connect through an Ethernet hub to the computer and read the individual signals conditioners by calling the TCP/IP in LabVIEW...

  OR

  b. using the RS-485 bus to connect to the computer's RS-485 interface and read these devices through LabVIEW

  my questions are.

  1. How can I know if my interface RS-485 of computers will recognize and read these devices.

  2. is Option 2 as possible. This will save me buying a server to connect to the computer via an Ethernet hub...

  If its possible then how can use labVIEW to read independent devices.

  You have to look at the hardware specifications on your computer.  Unless you intentionally installed a new serial RS-485 port, it is probably RS - 232.   Any standard, off the tablet computer will have only the RS-232 ports.  (In fact, most of the new computers these days don't even come with them.)  So you need to install a RS-485 serial card, or use a converter RS485 / RS232.

  Find read the manual of communication for these devices.  Each of these modules may need to be set to an address different slave.  The structure of command will probably look similar to this example ethernet you posted, except instead of using TCP/IP functions, you must use the functions of serial port VISA.  Looking through the viewfinder of the example for examples of series VISA.
