  The request of the employees table looks very good. Although it seems more logical to get the service id of the employeesEO instead of DepratmentsEO.

  The next step should be to create a viewLink between the DepartmentsVO and the EmployeesVO based on the service ID field.

  Once you have done this, add the EmployeesVO as a DepartmentsVO child in yout request module (and it will appear as such in the DataControl), so use these your to create master/detail table.

  Updating the data based on the selected master will be automatically managed by ADF.

  I need to do ot an app that will read in numbers, or data means, in a text file on an SD card and then convert them in a line graph. Currently I am able to read the contents of a text file and store it as a string with this code

  I am able to print the result of the chain of my test file so it prints something like "1 2 3 12 14 2 42.

  What I want to do convert this string to an array of int that will look like int [] result = {1, 2, 3, 12, 14, 2, 42}.

  I tried to use string.split("") as this seems to be what is generally done when I have the problem of google. When I try this however I get an error "the split (String) method is not defined for the String type.

  I just want to know if there is a way to convert this string to an array of integers (ints), or maybe is it possible to change my readTextFile method so that it will display the data in a table or working with the array of bytes to get distinct integers.

  The problem is that your negative sign is not a negative sign.  This is the code ASCII 150.  I'll call it something like a "long dash", that's why it does not recognize the LabVIEW code.  A negative real sign you have in part E-6 is code ASCII 45.  And also why same Excel treats as text rather than a number.

• How to get an array of integers to user in the User Interface

  Hi all. I'm not a very experienced user of the CVI. I have almost exclusively coding in LabVIEW but have a client who wants all of their work in the CVI.

  I've been very fruitful so far (set up a Modbus API from scratch that supports all types of connection) but am confused on how I can get the integer multiples of the user without limiting the number of integers I can get. Essentially, I need to be able to get an array of integers to the user.

  General information, I am building a user interface to test my Modbus API. There are Modbus functions to 'Write multiple registers' and 'write multiple coils. I want the user to be able to enter all the values they want to write in one command.

  What is the best way to get an array of integers through the user interface?

  The easiest way is probably to allow user input in a textbox control numbers: items can be separated by spaces, commas, or even a line break (using ctrl + Enter). You will then need to extract the string from the TextBox and analyzed for numeric values using any non-digit character as a separator: strspn (string, '0123456789'); can be used for this.

  More complex, another possibility is to use a table control to receive user input: you Dresses an empty table with a reasonable number of roews, or you need some codes to add new lines as long as the user fills all those already existing. On the other hand, it will be easier since data recovery in a simple statement, you will all return values: GetTableCellRangeVals (panelHandle, PANEL_TABLE, VAL_TABLE_COLUMN_RANGE (1), table, VAL_COLUMN_MAJOR);

  You have placed your beam to insert at the end of your text on page 13 and then apply Insert menu: Page Break? In the v5.6.2, Pages I just add a new page to a section of four pages to this approach.

• Some PDFS are print with empty boxes, replacing the text

  I have some of my electricity and gas supplier invoices and invoices are printed with squares displayed instead of text. I have already restored the book of fonts for the default fonts. I have no problem with the display of these bills on my computer. I have another PDF files and they all are printed correctly. If I open the PDF file that is badly printed and export it to PDF in PREVIEW app, the output is the same as on my printer. I tried to restore all the fonts by default those and I tried to reinstall OSX update with update combo, always the same.

  What else can I do to restore the normal print mode?

  I try to deal with Davis as ('20130930 ', ' 20130929') hoping the view object, run as my original SQL.

  But failed. The view object retrieves 0 line after that I run.

  A variable binding cannot be used as this is why you must use years table. Check decompilation binary ADF: using oracle.jbo.domain.Array with ViewCriteria to see a solution.

  Hello and apologies in advance I am an infrequent user of LabVIEW.

  Running on a VI to control a peristaltic pump and valve used to control some for a biosensor nanogap Microfluidic devices. I have the pump and the valve works manually (i.e., I adjust the values on the fly) but I am now trying to allow the user to define a sequence of steps that are then executed one after the other.

  User input: number, flow, duration of valve, pump direction (boolean).  Ideally the user can then run several different steps by adding more steps, so I thought of an indexed cluster array where each element represents a step?

  I would like the user to enter the time in minutes and seconds. The minimum will usually be 30 seconds and could be as long as an hour. I'm not sure of the best strategy for the timed loop, if I understand the use of the block 'waiting (ms)' can cause problems. I thought about getting a timestamp, a value added to it and the comparison? Are there any other suggestions?

  Any advice would be appreciated.

  Just ask yourself how you should architect your code? Using a table of parameters of the step is an eay easy to do. And the wait is not necessarily a bad thing, it depends on your application and if you need the calendar to be exact in a certain way. You can use wait it until Mrs several place for synchronization.

  The Computer of State Simple model that comes with LabVIEW is really the best way for new developers to become familiar with LabVIEW using a semi scalable architecture.

  Here is a large example of the works of a state machine:

  • States: Init, slowed down, exit, DoThing1, DoThing2, DoThing3
  • Each State contains code that could take some time. Ideally, not too long because this is how long your code might not meet.
  • The idle state contains a structure of event for all of the user interactions.
  • The front panel has a button that says "do the 1 thing.
  1. Loop iteration 0: Application starts, the first State is Init. Init State made the initialization stuff and tells the application to go to the idle state when finished.
  2. Iteration of the loop 1: request goes to the idle state. He's sitting there, waiting for the structure of the event.
  3. Time passes, and then the user presses the button 'do 1 thing ". There is no code or minimal code, within the occurrence of the event. The output of this state of the event tells the application to go to the State of DoThing1.
  4. Iteration of the loop 3: Application passes to the State of DoThing1. Here, there is code that does a few things. The output of DoThing1 State tells the application to return to the idle state.
  5. Iteration of the loop 4: Application goes to a State of rest where he waits again to the structure of the event.
  • Each State can tell the application to go to any State they want. You want to reset? Return to the Init State. You want to put an end to the program? Go to the exit State.   On the storm, it is not possible to play 2 sounds loaded from a file at a time.  If you try this, the first sound stops and the second sound will be played.

  You can, however, load and play a sound (background music) and play other sounds (sound effects) by using Alert.startAudio ().  The first noise not would be cut.  The only problem with this is that the Alert.startAudio sounds are not the best.
