That means a voltage reading ending average 'u '?

Hello

I have a NI 9211 WHAT DAQ thermocouple connected to two thermocouples of Type C and Type two, K. Data acquisition is configured to read voltages and can receive signals of +-80mV. All the four thermocouples are return values that end with the character "u". What this indicates?

Thank you.

u = micro = 10 ^-6.  In other words, a very small voltage.

  • That means 'samples to read' really means

    Hi all

I use a capture of data PCI-6259 now card to read data from multiple channels. However, I don't really understand the "sample to read" node in "DAQmx read.vi.

In my opinion, if I use the DAQ to sample multiple channels, this "sample to read" would be the number of samples per channel.  But I don't know if sampling is at the same time or not? If not, how do simultaneous samples for different channels? According to the user mannual, data acquisition must support a simultaneous sample of channels of the difference, or I was wrong?

    Kind regards

    Rui

There are three parameters that control the time of an acquisition in DAQmx:

    Sampling frequency

This control hurries samples are taken.  This is specified with respect to the samples per second.

    Samples per channel

For a finite acquisition, it is the total number of samples that will purchase your program.  For a continuous acquisition, it is just used to help determine the size of the buffer.

    To read samples

It is a setting on the DAQmx Read VI.  This allows to determine how many samples per channel is returned whenever VI Read is called.  The value '-1' returns all samples that are available.  If the specified number of samples are not available with the VI Read is called, reading VI hangs until the samples are available, or until the time which is connected to the terminal "timeout" runs.

Thus, for example, if we have an application with the following parameters:

    Samples rate = 1000 s/s

    Samples per channel = 5000

    Samples to read = 100

Then the application will gather 5000 total samples at a rate of 1000 samples per second.  The total acquisition will therefore 5 seconds.

We will need to call playback VI 50 times, because whenever we call the VI, it is up to 100 samples available.

Inter channel time-out is controlled by the property of the clock to convert frequency I.  The smallest value, for it can be programmed is the sampling rate overall maximum reverse for your motherboard.  The default rate is 10 to allow for extra time, unless your sampling frequency is greater than 100 kech. / s, in which case, we use the smallest possible value.

So, for example, my PCI-6289 has a sampling rate overall maximum of 500 kech. / s (as indicated by the specifications).  My inter channel a minimum period is so opposite of 500 kHz, or 2 uS.

You can set the clock frequency to convert HAVE using the DAQmx Timing property node:

    I hope that clarifies things!

    Hello

Once you have built your VI and compiled into an executable file and deployed on another machine, it essentially becomes a file read-only, which means that you will not be able to change the balance in this deployed application.

  • That means the AHCI Mode, Mode RAID & SATA IDE Mode in the BIOS settings means

That means the AHCI Mode, Mode RAID & SATA IDE Mode in the BIOS settings means

My computer is having problems when I bought all first it was from another provider which came as a set overclocked PC up the unit everything needed had to be put in my case & add existing hard drives & DVD etc. readers added on the implementation. I used the same location for more than 10 years before that I always built them myself I can build a good setup computer I correspond to different parts inside each other, and then he tested & sent.
Unfortunately, the store has closed & the owner is sick cannot get their hands on him more & I had to get some add on things like new SSDS & some other bits in my system & the young boy said he would could do this job, but everything went wrong & I lost all new so I decided to recycle me like I used to do it before windows 7-64 came out I was going through a rough patch with me being paraplegic in any case it is difficult to build a new PC, so I chose this store & their confidence that went wrong now & I've been research & learn to catch up with the new technology, I do what I do anyway.
Thing is my system is never one that you can purchase a manufacturer & I left it with the young boy & it came out all memory & was not necessary but of course upset of that ruined the setting completely overclocked so I did it myself & I got the work faster than ever, & quieter PC I just got the score that he had now , so I'm happy with it, but the names I came across while overclocking I came across that I'm not average or really lot as were dealing with Fast CrossfireX DDR RAM 1600 MHz.
Please don't tell me that I should not be messing around with what I made since 1989 & made great strides in how everything works, I am not aware about this sort of thing I know SATA what it is & done, but those responsible for setting came from the part of overclocking in the BIOS I put then correctly , but I wanted to know what they represent in more depth. Thanks to anyone who can put me wise on these 3 points only. Malcolm.

I'm pretty sure that you are on the wrong "forum" for this type of topic. This forum is designed as a support Pro-type Surface ultrabook/tablets and tablet-like Surface.

    That said,

AHCI - Advanced Host Controller Interface - this is a hardware mechanism that allows the software to communicate with the devices Serial ATA (SATA). It offers features such as connecting hot and native command queuing (NCQ).

IDE - Integrated Drive Electronics - IDE is basically the 'old' version of AHCI without connection to hot and NCQ. (It is usually used during the era the Parallel ATA (PATA) hard drives)

Now. Mode AHCI and IDE mode - what is - this? IDE mode is to give you the greatest compatibility with older operating systems. AHCI is as I mentioned above, a modern version of the IDE - use the AHCI mode if you are running recent operating systems (Windows Vista + and Linux kernel 2.6.19+).) IDE mode will allow you to connect older operating systems with SATA drives.

As I mentioned above, SATA is Serial ATA and the replacement of hard drives Parallel ATA (PATA).

RAID - this is a storage technology where combine you multiple disks in a unit of 'single', depending on the mode, there may be RAID-0 and RAID-6 and each with different hard drive configurations. I will explain the simple examples: RAID-0 , which is the distribution but no parity or mirroring, this means that there is no data redundancy, if there is a failure on a disc, it will cause the loss of data on the entire RAID array. Ex: You 0110 as writing the data, 01 goes on disk 1 and 10 goes on disc 2, allowing a faster data read/write access.

RAID-1- This is the opposite of RAID-0, which is mirrored without interlacing (no parity or the other). Basically, this means that you have an exact clone of disk 1 disk 2 disk 1 failure.

RAID0 + 1 is that both RAID 1 and 0 is, IE interlacing (write data simultaneously to two [or more]. disks more mirroring failure) the minimum amount of disks required for this type of installation is 4 IDENTICAL drives.

There is also RAID 2, 3, 4, 5, 6. That is just more implemented different configurations of distribution/parity/mirroring on disks.

That being said, your RAID mode will allow you for some type of RAID configuration, if you choose to do so.

Supplement: Many SATA controllers can enable AHCI separately or in combination with RAID support. Recommend Intel choose RAID mode on their motherboards, allowing also the AHCI, rather than AHCI/SATA mode for maximum flexibility (in the case that you ever want to build a RAID array), because there are a few problems that occurs, usually BSOD, when you choose a different mode once an operating system is already installed.

Well, most ISPS and web-based e-mail providers have rules in place: some have attachments maximum file sizes, most have maximum rates for the number of recipients/how many emails per day. I had one that had a maximum bandwidth and would not deliver an email until tomorrow if I ended this day.

    http://psychicreform.com/mosports/mosports.XML

Feed validators are complaining that this line contains a prefix of "independent". I think it's probably because in the second line, "rss.xlmns" it does not mention "atom", only "itunes" - the URL in this line indicates the feed reader RSS how to interpret the tags for this application. Without link for 'atom', the tag is meaningless to readers, and it is marked as an XML error, which is enough to cause the feed unreadable. There is no need to have this line (Atom is a very old RSS reader which I doubt anyone uses now) and you'd better remove that line altogether, either that or somehow insert the URL of the atom, which seems to be "xmlns:atom ="http://www.w3.org/2005/Atom"" so that the second line would read as follows: "

I am trying to download pictures from a card compact flash player map, but every time my computer shows i/o device error. What does that mean?

    Hi Richard,

    1. what version of Windows you are using on the computer?

    2. have you checked if the problem persists in a different USB port and in another computer?

3 - is the card compact flash not detected in Device Manager?

A Secure Digital or SD memory card is a device of small portable storage usually used on a digital camera or camcorder, cell phone, or computer system. When you use the card, you may sometimes experience an IO error. The term "i/o" is refers to an input/output error and may involve the SD itself card or the card reader you are using.

    Try these methods:

Method 1: Try to run the hardware troubleshooter and check what the problem is and fix it accordingly.

Follow the link below a convenience store opened.

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/open-the-hardware-and-devices-Troubleshooter

    Method 2:

Eject the SD card in the card reader and check the writing on the side protection tab. This tab should be in the up position; otherwise, you will not be able to save all data on the card. Also check the connection between the computer and the SD card reader. If the card reader is not properly connected to the computer, you will receive error messages when you try to use the SD card or your computer does not recognize the card.
