  a quick google search just shows how to create a site map, but no mention of how to get a clickable link to a sitemap on a Web footer.

  Hello

  You can try to front page of the site hyperlink to any text that would open the sitemap on the mouse action.

  For example, domain.com/sitemap.xml, enter in this format in hyperlink with any text or image that you can place on the page footer area.

  Have a query re sitemaps in Muse.

  When I write my site, the site map updates for the user to navigate the site in their browser. However, the xml file does not work - I know because when I search www. [insert my domain].com/sitemap.xml the old pages are indexed, even after several days - and this affects google from indexing the site.]

  There is no problem with the DNS of your domain name. Site is made a new delegation in BC and the field points correctly to THE DC where the site is hosted.

  In regard to don't muse not synchronized with BC and the page not being deleted (when it is removed from the Muse project), I don't see a reference to harvard - copyright.html in the file muse_manifest.xml on your site for a reason, but the file exists physically. So what I'm suggesting here is to:

  1. manually remove all pages not required BC admin.

  2. Once you do this, publish the site of Muse (all files).

  In regard to point 1 above, online content editing is disabled by default for sites published through Muse to BC and so the Pages tab appears for you under the Site Manager.

  However, you can always turn on the change content online by logging into the site administrator-> to go to the section my details (hovering over your name at the top right) and select the option as shown in the screenshot below.

  

  Please see the post below for a reason which is why the option is incompatible with the Muse (but does affect all of the features as such if you enable it).

  in your site go sitemap.xml - that is what search engines care more then the page site maps.

  I'm under DW CC, version 2015.1, build 781 in El Capitan.  With the help of MacBook Pro with 16 GB of RAM and an SSD.

  All, DW & OS, are the latest versions.

  I have a site in particular that, when I go, DW checks the site for updates map and then everything freezes, it sends me to the dreaded spinning beach ball!

  The only way out is to leave Force DW.  Very frustrating, which means I can't access all the files.

  I removed the Dreamweaver site in Manage Sites.

  I then set it up again as a new site and DW rebuilt successfully the cache.

  Now everything works OK

  The horizontal menu of the widget library must be you drag to the area of the workspace.

  I presented a site map for the desktop version by entering www.mysite/sitemap.xml to webmaster tools easily. This site map includes mobile pages, but Google is able to index the pages office, ignoring those mobile simply. I have to do something different?

  You won't need to do anything more here Muse generates a sitemap for the site that contains all the information for Tablet and mobile version, Google knows that office pages are canonical.

  Hello, I had a problem with submitting a site map it to goole before the holiday and didn't get anywhere. I thought only try once again.

  I generated a sitemap using one of the online resources. Now, how do I make google webmaster tools?  That is, it can't find it, error General HTTP: 404 not found.  Can someone please be specific because I'm not very good at it yet?  I understand that catalyst muse or the company will generate one but I would like to submit to google because it comes up with an error message saying it is not a.

  There are many options for a file sharing - you could copy it to a company network server, or send the file back, or use a service like Dropbox, SendThisFile, Adobe SendNow file sharing or Creative cloud sync, among others.

  What is right for you depends on the size of your file, how many times you send the file back and personal preferences

  Looks like you're more interested in search engine optimization or SEO. Adobe Muse creates a better search engine optimization sitemap.xml file and this file is uploaded to your site via FTP. You can exclude a page from the sitemap.xml file (if you don't want the search engines to find) by setting an option in the Page Properties dialog box.   I use MX2004 and it is only the 3rd site I ever built.

  I transferred my site about three weeks ago and was constantly review and improve the filing on seos.

  One thing I noticed, is that when the domain name is entered as a search on Google, rather than get the page of http://www.cumbria-dog-training.com/index.htm Welcome/domain/index.htm as expected home page indicates. http://www.Cumbria-dog-training.com/home.htm

  Looking at the map view, pages lead to the http://www.sigling.is/IMO/imofishing/home.htm page and not the domain/index.htm page.

  What have I done wrong?

  Your home page should be your index page.   The domain name page (index.htm)

  is the most valuable piece of real estate on your site.  Unfortunately, you have wasted your making a start page or intro with virtually no text and no background information about your site/company.  Capture pages are rarely used by professionals because its not ignore them.

  The index page should be informative, compelling and heavy on the content key word rich in good semantic markup. Your index page should summarize the who, what, when, where and why of your site.

  I need to hide the tabs in the form without compiling the srf file. The steps that I followed is I have Navigated for Application of Directors > responsibilities > Layout tab. Choose responsibility and the application that we use and in the layout of the tab, I checked the box hide the tabs in the form I want to hide. I've hidden all display tabs under the screen as well.
  
  Now the screens do not appear in the tabs of the screen, but they still appear in the site map. Please suggest me how to hide these screens from the site map as well without making changes in the tools.

  Did you put http:// in your URL? Otherwise, it is considered a relative link.
