  Please follow the following suggestions to solve the problem.

  Method 1: Check if the Show Desktop icons is enabled or not. Follow the steps mentioned below to do the same.

  Right click on the desktop, point to view , and then click show the desktop icons.

  Method 2: This problem could be due to corrupt system files or viruses in the computer. So, you can try to test the problem in safe mode and see if that helps.

  Step 1: See the link to start in safe mode.

  Step 2: If you are able to turn off the computer in safe mode, I suggest you perform the clean boot because your system in a clean boot state can identify if all parties third party applications or startup items are causing the problem.   Use method 3. This is a very simple procedure.
  Download the fix for registry Volumn > save it on the desktop > right click of the enable_volumn.reg > click MERG > follow the prompts.
  Once completed, restart.
  Back to the routine "Properties", you can put a check mark on the Volumn box now.

  I understand that you do not see the Red badge on the Mail Dock icon list of unread mails.

  Please check first that the Notifications preferences are set to display the Badge icon in system preferences > Notifications > Mail.

  Specify when you want not to be disturbed by notifications and set options to control how apps to display notifications and how they are sorted in the Notification Center.

  To open the Notifications preferences, choose Apple menu > System Preferences, and then click Notifications. Select do not disturb or an application on the left, then view or change its settings on the right.

  Leave the application indicates the number of notifications on its icon in the Dock

  Then check how Mail is defined for unread mail.

  It's apparently still operational-[i.e. Dragon user profiles are saved it] but the folder does not appear.

  The application data folder is supposed to be a hidden folder.  Applications and the operating system use this area to store the information needed to run these applications.

  You can display it by activating the display of hidden folders:

  Double-click any folder
  Click on tools-> Folder Options-> View (tab)
  Then click on the check box "Show hidden files, folders and readers."
  "OK" your way out.

  Are you build the application that you are testing your device using Ant? If so, perhaps you have wrong path in the icon property.

  The value of your icon must be a relative path based on your destdir.
