• My Logitech extreme 3D pro joystick does not work with the dogfight when played on vista Simulator.

  Why can I not get my joystick works when you play the air combat Simulator?  I'm under the it on my laptop with vista.  The game installs fine, but I don't get a response when I use the joystick which is a Logitech extreme 3D pro.  I go into the settings to calibrate it and it shows that it is there and it tests fine but it still fails.  I thought it was just the joystick, but it works with the microsoft x Flight Simulator.  Then I tried to install the joystick Saitek initially, I used to play the game with and got the same answer, it would not work and settings would recognize the control stick and he would test well but still does not work.

• Overview of the issues when exporting pdf from InDesign

  I'm working on PC, Windows 7, InDesign of CS5. I had several problems with executives of color filled not appearing is not in the preview of an exported pdf file, different file, same problem. The files 'prints' very well. For example, I have a page that contains a logo, two lines of text in the Arial font, two photo .jpg (CMYK) and a background color solid process. When I export to PDF (I tried all the options available to me) the colorful background does not appear in the preview. I can send this file to the printer and it prints exactly as set upward in InDesign. I also systematically deleted each item separately and re-exported the same results each time. I even deleted everything on the page with just the colorful box. Same result. I did drag the elements on a page in a new document. Same result.

  Thoughts? Does anyone else know this? I looked for further discussions on this topic, but couldn't find one just like her.

  It is the first Adobe to tell you that you are at the end of the sequence. If hate you as much as we all send a feature request to delete. The bar won't be there on any exported file.

  For the latter, you can climb the Observable to a ReadOnlyProperty and call getBean() on it; mount the getBean() call results in a TextField.

  I have no good solution for most of your question. It seems that the default behavior is to restore the position of carat at the beginning of the text, and the listener realizes that runs after your custom listener.
  If the best hack I see is to have a flag that replaces the carat position changes. Set the flag to true on loses focus. Register a listener with the position property of carat, and if the flag is set back to carat at the end (and then disabled the indicator).
  If you want to use the headphones on several fields of text, instead of a flag, have a set of textfields which will have their positions carat substituted changes.

  It's really a hack; I'd like to think that there is a better solution.

• Render freeze/Crash at the end - program does not

  Hi guys

  IM at my end with this problem and I would appreciate a solution or an explanation of the problem im having.

  When I visited my project for final output it renders all frames and manages to the end on the progress bar, but as soon as it seems at the end it freezes. It does not seem complete. (the program goes into "not responding") I have left for up to 4 hours and it still just hangs. What is happening with all projects and the scenes independently of memory allocation or resolution.

  IM under CS4 with windows 7 and have version 9.0.3 of After Effects. IM also using the latest plugin optical flares with all updates. my hardware is Intel (r) Core i7 CPU clocked at 2.66 GHz [email protected]

  insalled RAM is 4 GB with 3.24 GB usable

  32-bit operating system

  Graphics card is NVIDIA Ge Force GTX285 with 2 GB memory independent

  With only 4 GB of RAM, you should not use multiprocessing.  If it is enabled, disable it.  If you use Open GL to speed rendering, turn that off too: it rarely helps and often hurts.  Your problem could be solved easily.

  But since you're on AE 9, it images you use could also be the problem.  It would be more often extracted from XDCams, HDV cameras and digital SLRs.  AE 10 solved the problem, but that won't help you now.  However, a response that I usually give all the time on the Creative COW may still apply:

  If the images you imported in AE are all sort of what follows - images in a codec to acquire HDV, AVCHD, MPEG2, MPEG1, mp4, mts, m2t, H.261 or H.264 - you must convert it to a different codec.

  These kinds of sequences use the time compression or inter-trame. They have keyframes at regular intervals, with information of the full frame.  However, middle managers have all the information.  Codecs inter-trame launch duplicate information.

  In order to maintain maximum efficiency made, AE needs complete information for each image. But because these sorts of images contain only partial information, AE freaks out, resulting in a wide variety of problems.

  I'm a Mac guy, I would like to convert Quicktime movies in the Animation or PNG codec; both are lossless.  I'll use Apple Compressor, Adobe Media Encoder or Quicktime Pro to do.

• Chronology of the end actions does not yet have CS4

  I have a project in place with 3 videos with 3 buttons in a menu. I also have an intro video set as the first piece of theatre. The first play video/timeline end action works and opens the menu: no problem. When I select the first button play and play the video at the end on the video, with the end set to the menu, the video action begins to play again and not navigate back to the menu. What is strange, is that the end action works after the second time playing through. The same thing happens with the other buttons/video/delays.  Any suggestions?

  Delete all replacements of your timelines and your buttons.  In fact, remove all replacements anywhere in your project.

• Canon MP620 install launches the error message "Could not load any file of resource".

  I reinstalled Windows XP on a fresh partition a few days previously.  I applied SP3 and all updates of windows until no updates are available.  I applied the motherboard and video drivers & s/w.  Windows updates applied an update to the CPU driver, if I'm not mistaken.  I didn't have many other things still installed at this point beyond Panda, office and a few utilities simple, affluent (Notepad ++, Total Commander, etc - things without installs pretty simple).

  When I try to install the printer driver Canon MP620 (md8l-victory-mp620-1_04 - ea24a.exe, for use on local network), after the one the switch over and half dozen clicks later software is about to install but then get the following error:

  INSTALLATION PROGRAM. EXE

  Unable to load a resource file.

  I contacted Canon support.  Not surprisingly, they said it wasn't their problem and that my system was to blame.  To be honest, I was able to run the same configuration file, without getting that error, on another machine.

  I already had a problem with es.dll (do not have the details on me).  I got an error message (twice) which suggests that it might be corrupted, so I ran sfc/scannow.  After clicking on several attempts on my original Windows XP disc in the analysis, it finally finished without reporting problems or corrective action.  Never seen the error once again since.

  ... then...

  I can't find all the other tracks on the internet that take me somewhere.  I used to be quite a geek, but I think that I'm not dumber as I get older.  Without a solution, I can't use this printer.  I need to use it as both a printer and a scanner, so I would use Canon software provided.  Can anyone suggest it please what else I should try?

  -Windows XP Professional Service Pack 3 (build 2600); the system is up to date with windows updates

  I suggest trying to install the printer using the wizard for adding and deleting printer and check if you are able to install the printer on the system or not.

  Step 1: Check Windows Media Player video playback settings

  d. under reading video and DVD, check if "Enable DirectX Video Acceleration for WMV files" is selected. If this is not the case, then select it.

  I have a Media Center older that I custom built a few years back. It worked great, but recently, I needed to replace the hard drive and start over. I am running XP MCE 2005 with all service pack upgrades. Its an AMD Athlon 939 3.2 processor dual core with 2.5 GB of ram, a tv tuner double happauge I think it's the model 1250.   It seems that whenever I'm in a menu, watch tv online, or in the guide and I have an attempt to save a change of setting, ask the guide to record a show, or simply press the record button on my remote, the MC hangs. Television does not freeze, but if I hit a button in the blue screen it depresses only half (hopefully, it makes sense) and does not complete the request and ten minutes later, my screen goes to sleep and I have to restart to recover features. OR if I just hit the record button on the remote control of the continuous tv but it does not start recording and the remote stops working. In both cases I can force quit the application and relaunch MC but no functionality returns the menus come but no orders are accepted.

  All thoughts. I am a competent convenience store so put on. As far as I know is the system worked perfectly before my back in place at all.

  Thanks in advance. I use all the most recent drivers and patches for everything. I use Nvidia pure video too as my cable box. What a great also... worked before.
