However not in the same goes for the volume (it's always white) and also before the reimage whenever I put the volume there was little box on the screen showing how I changed the volume... Now, still works, but I want this little box back what seemed before. How can I do?

  Try the following.

  Download IDT Audio Installer on the link below and save it in your downloads folder.

  One time finished, open windows control panel, open Device Manager and open sound, video and game controllers.  Right click on the IDT device and select uninstall - also, you should get a command prompt to delete the current driver, check the box allow this and then proceed to uninstall.

  When you are finished, download and reinstall the Chipset driver at the following link.

  Chipset Driver - Windows 7.

  Once this done, shut down the laptop, unplug the AC adapter and then remove the battery.  Press and hold the Power button for 30 seconds.  Reinsert the battery and plug in the AC adapter.

  Robinet tap away at the key esc that you start the computer to launch the Start Menu, and then select f10 to open the bios menu.  Press f5 to load the default values (sometimes it's f9, but the menu below indicates the correct key), use the arrow keys to select 'Yes' and press ENTER.  Press f10 to save the setting and still use the arrow keys to select 'Yes' and press on enter.

  Allow Windows to fully - charge it will automatically load an audio driver, but let just this complete.  Then open your download folder, right-click on the IDT Installer and select "Run as Administrator" to launch the installation.  Once this done, do a right-click the speaker icon in the taskbar and select playback devices.  'Speakers and headphones' left click once to highlight, and then click the Set Default button - check if you now audio.

  The maximum amount of RAM supported your model is 8GBs. The unit has 2 DIMM slots, so you need to get the memory 2 x 4 GB DDR3 modules. Take a look inside the machine to see how fast the 2 GB that you are there (for example, 1066 MHz) and buy 4 GB modules that match.

  Page 48 lists the tested/compatible memory modules and shows you how even to yourself! Additionally, make sure that you are using a 64-bit operating system in order to fully use the 8GBs - a 32 bit OS will see 4GBs.

  Good so I had to update my post because I had to give the good news! However, that is how I am and I almost try everything and tinkering with different things. My audio works now. I went back the download Acer drivers and manual for my camera and I checked under 32-bit Windows 8, which was windows available. I installed my ID which has been deleted before when I had restarted or any number of things, I tried, and then I went in Drivers and installed the Master Installer. I made sure that I extracted all the files before proceeding with the installation. After it restarted my laptop I heard the Windows startup sound and I knew that it worked because I had no sound at all before. Not sure why it worked, but it did!   It seems that your HP system is not compatible for Windows. Available drivers are for Windows XP and 2000.

  About the food, the psu calculator gives me the following recommendations

  This raises a few questions:

  About the video card itself, I am concerned about the space, I looked inside of the case, there is a decent amount of clearance around the gtx 260, but I'd love to hear from someone who has tried to replace this card.

  Hello

  The difference will be the distance between the power supply and the optical bays can be annoying.  Open your PC and do some measure and see if a thumb causes less issues.  Don't forget the extra cable lengths.

  Tip: When you install the new power supply, remove the front cover, lock the optical drive and slide if forward to facilitate the installation of the power supply. Do the PSU upgrade before you get your PC stable before installing new video card.

  The OCZ has a bus verses double 12 volts the Corsair with a rail.  There is always a debate about who is best. Both have advantages and disadvantages.  I prefer implementing the only bus.  The really big PSUS, all seem to have several buses. The material of the size of the bus which had to bear the whole of the amperage on a bus would be rather substantial with very large power supplies and there are other reasons.

  There is no place to buy this decision in a separate part. The only possibility is to find a motherboard nonworking parts on ebay and to transplant the good audio jack on your motherboard, and I don't want to minimize welding skills that will. You'd be very likely to damage the motherboard still more. Your best bet now if you want to use the laptop with a gaming headset is to get a cheap usb sound card and plug it in when you want to listen in private. I guess that the speakers of the laptop still work OK?
