The battery cover has fallen!

Hi guys,.

As stated above, the back cover of my Moto X Pure 2 - months, completely peeled:

https://goo.GL/photos/CJi1U37bNPqz3Czv7

The phone is never dropped, soaked or exposed to heat. It works very much including NFC. Motorola is ready to replace the phone but I don't want to pay $25 just for that (they can do it for free, but I'd be without a phone for a month...).

This defect warranty? If not, how to paste it back together? Or should I still replaced it?

See also, the cat with a client horrible support rep.

@domi_niku please check your email, send you information on the replacement.

  • Y40 - 80 randomly turn off. The battery calibration has not fixed the problem of battery meter.

    Hello

I've had this Y40-80 during about 9 months and it has recently been acting strangely. The laptop will stop randomly. I thought that it was a sign, I had to calibrate the battery but after I had calibrated the battery, the battery meter percentage remained at 100% for a good 2 hours until it starts to decrease.

Now, I tried to recalibrate the battery for 5 times using the howtogeek, OneKey and the discharge of the BIOS. I did a fresh install of Windows to get rid of all the software Lenovo that might have caused the problem, but that did nothing.

I also uninstalled the Windows ACPI and Lenovo ACPI, which does not solve everything.

This issue makes the computer laptop underclock the processor environ.48 Ghz, which makes the computer almost unusable.

Someone have an idea on how to solve this problem, or is the battery dead?

  • BlackBerry Smartphones "BOLD" speakers do not work with the battery cover on

    Hello world

I'm a relatively new Blackberry owner.  I have "BOLD" for the last two months and it's been great. One of the things that impressed me at first was the quality of the sound from the internal speakers.  Everything worked well for the first few weeks. In the last fews days, I noticed that I was missing calls because I heard the ring. Then I noticed that I couldn't hear songs when played music library.  Thinking that it was some glitch of system, I took out the battery and it worked for awhile, but then stopped.  Only after that examine more closely did achieve the work of great speakers with the cap of dough, but as soon as I put it back top makes it almost inaudible

At the moment I have with the lid not clicked in all above.  In this position the speakers sound fantastic, but the rear could in a click at any time and silent sound again.  Obviously not a good long-term fix. I searched these tips and have not found a similar problem.  Right now, I think to order a cover for replacement of Amazon to see if it could be that my current coverage is "folded" or otherwise do something weird to the speakers.

I was wondering if anyone else has run into this and found a solution.

Thanks in advance for your help.

    Rusty

Wow, this is one weird, never heard talk about this problem before. If you have insurance for your phone, go to the store and get a new one, this is what I would do or you can use your warranty with blackberry and get a new one on their part. I know this isn't much help, but why bother with a different battery cover when you can probably get a new phone. If you decide to go with the new battery cover reply back and let us know if the problem is resolved.

  • XPRT: How to remove the battery cover?

How to remove the cover of the battery on the XPRT correctly? You lift up the slot on the bottom next to the mic or what? Nothing really seems to drag...

Hold the phone upside down, the back facing you, place your middle finger

into the slot that is located just above the speaker.

A little pull with your middle finger back enough to place your index finger and

ring finger away from each side.

Place your thumb in the center of the lid, close the Motorola "M" logo

Pull with your index, middle and ring finger with your thumb as

leverage and the back will be open.

You can remove the lid of the compartment from the rest of the way by pulling

    you.

The back door is pretty thin, so be careful not to overdo with

your thumb, you try not to snap paused just half, the 'seal '.

    the bottom of the phone.

  • DROID: Anyone else find that the battery cover falls?

My battery cover detaches if easily, that I don't know that it will be soon lost. Submit a ticket to support (Motorola), but I was wondering if others are having this problem and (b) have found a way to change the cover so it will stay locked?

THEN STOP HERE. IF YOU HAVE LOST YOUR BATTERY COVER, MOTOROLA WILL REPLACE, BUT THIS ONE WILL BE NO DIFFERENT. THIS FUNDAMENTAL DESIGN FLAW-ELEGANT SOLUTION IS TO USE A SMALL PIECE OF BLACK INSULATION TAPE TO PREVENT THE COVER FROM SLIDING. IT WORKS AND IS AESTHETICALLY VERY WELL.

In fact, what causes a lot of wear on a battery empties it too low on several occasions. With today
systems overload are not a problem.

Here are some tips to help and troubleshoot battery issues.

Old battery? Unplug the power to the computer - remove the battery and clean the contacts with a pencil
eraser (do not use this, if your battery is fine slots - just clean up the edges of the knife which fit in)
them and be careful). Batteries are old, or it could be a problem with the computer.
Check with the support of the machine system, and many of them have on line forums.

New Lithium-Ion type battery usually last longer if you do not unload then less than 30%
However on a laptop that not extend their life a lot. Best is to use the a/c adapter

  • Photon: Best way to snap the back cover in place?

What is the best way to put the cover back on? What sequence I use, it seems that one of the plastic snaps is not committed.

There are instructions inside the battery cover. You start at the bottom and work your way up to the left and the right. That being said, check the clips on your lid and make sure that one of them is not folded. This happened to me the first day I bought the phone. I had to get a new one from the Sprint Store. Do not force the clip if it is wrong. I think that's how mine has folded.

  • How to drain the battery is considered as normal?

I bought a MBP 15 "(MacBook Pro with the Retina display, OS X Yosemite (10.10.5), Core i7 2.5 GHz, 16 GB of DDR3 memory) in January 2016." Although this particular model has 9 hours of wireless web browsing, I find his behaviour pretty weird lately.

Right after the purchase of this piece which I could flaunt, I tried to measure his performance of the battery because it is one of their main selling point. As a test, I have that YouTube and the video stream with audio turned on at full volume in Safari (as he called to be optimized on Chrome/Firefox) for continuous 1 hour. To my delight, I found that 10%-11% of the battery charge has dropped. Twice I've tested, the result was invariably the same. Yesterday I repeated once more the same 'experience '. The battery got decreased by 13%-14% in two innings.

Now-a-days, if I keep open Safari, do certain amount of browsing the web, use Google docs/sheets, Facebook, streaming video (no Flash, games, etc.), the battery drops about 20% in an hour. Point to note that I have installed a lot of software to exercise fully the potential of the machine, but only a handful of those, for example, Dropbox, Little Snitch run as a background service consuming little cycles CPU.

As you can see, the battery drain went from 10% to 11% to 20% with a bit more of its use. This essentially translates to 5 hours of computing with a fully charged battery.

If I followed the amperage, the full capacity of the battery (9 full cycles up to now) is approximately 8600 ~ mAh. Theoretically, to offer 9 hours of battery life, the amperage must be about 955 mAh, while, with the above mentioned usage profile, he gushed to-(1400-1500) mAh for no reason.

I apologize for writing a long post. In the end, my question is if this drainage is normal? Earlier, I used a 13 "MBP (no graphics card) for a month, the battery life is impressive (about 7-8 hours at full load). That's what I expect from my new MBP that is twice as expensive. I'm sorry if I look like whining, but you understand very well how he feels a (so-called), a device does not promise and you've already spent your hard earned money.

Battery run time as announced by Apple is measured with the help of non-intensive resource settings that simply do not represent its actual use.  I have never achieved the results announced and that I never thought I could.  I just use the MBP for my needs, is not to see if I can reproduce the hype of Apple.

According to what you wrote, it seems that your results are normal for what you do.  I don't see that you have a problem.

    Ciao.
