The BIOS update can I use for Satellite A200 - 14 d (PSAEC)?

Laptop came with vista home. Now the WXP running. Should which BIOS I use?
5.20 - WINNER is not vista compatible or 1, 80 - WIN, that is? What does compatibility mean in this case?

Not for vista = for laptops which didn t come with preinstalled vista or laptops that are not currently under vista?

Need to get hokeys to work properly, so I really need to update my BIOS, right?

Thank you!

Hello

I asked my friend with the same model laptop as yours and he told me that you must install the update of BIOS 5.20 for Windows XP Home edition.

I didn t find details changed in the BIOS update on the page of Toshiba Europe.
I assume that Toshiba does not provide this information

However, if your laptop runs without a problem, then I would not update anything you know
I'm always that notice; never change a running system. And that's the best advice I've ever heard.

  • What scanner update can be used for a list of all of our programs of out-of-date drivers abd?

It scanns for missing updates makes a list and then download you it all at once

    Hello

In my opinion, the only place where you get the updated drivers from the hardware manufacturer's Web site is.

Having said that, in common with many contributors respected on this forum, I agree that drivers should only be updated if you know you have a problem that is caused by the driver you are currently using. Pilots who are "outdated" may well not a version update available anyway.

If you experience what you perceive to be (other than their date of review) driver problems, I suggest that you let us know what is the problem and the chances are that someone will be able to help. I recommend you post a new question with appropriate information to maximize your chances of a successful resolution. In order to help compose your question see...

  • How to package a different content, so that the same license can be used for all content.

    1) If packing everything at the same time, use the same DRMParameters instance whenever you call MediaEncrypter.encryptContent ().  Everything packed using the exact the same DRMParameters object will be associated with the same license.

    2) If the contents of package at different times, but who want to have all the content associated with the same license, you must use V2KeyParameters.setContentEncryptionKey ().  The first time you compress a piece of content, you would use ContentEncryptionKey.generate () to generate a new key/license ID.  To use the same key/license for the content later, you need to store the info in ContentEncryptionKey, so you can later pass in values for the new content.

The content of the package at different times using the same license, you must implement the following:

    1. Call ContentEncryptionKey.generate to generate a new key and who deliver the ID.
    2. On your V2KeyParameters, call setContentEncryptionKey and pass the object generated in step 1.
    3. Call MediaEncrypter.encryptContent and pass in the V2KeyParameters (via DRMParameters), as usual.
    4. Store the contents of ContentEncryptionKey, values can be used later.  The key, license ID, and the date of packaging must all be stored.
    5. When you want content extra package using this license, looks for the stored key, license ID and packaging date and pass in the ContentEncryptionKey constructor to create an instance of ContentEncryptionKey.
    6. On your V2KeyParameters, call setContentEncryptionKey and pass the object generated in step 5.
    7. Call MediaEncrypter.encryptContent and pass in the V2KeyParameters (via DRMParameters), as usual.

Media conditioned to steps 3 and 7 should now be protected using the same license.

  • What HARD drive max can I use for Satellite 2410-504

    Hello

I have a Toshiba 2410-504 P241E the 20 GB drive HARD is almost full, and I would like to buy another larger capacity disc to replace.
My question is what is the maximum capacity disc and what type of drive this machine will support?

Note: I have the latest version of the bios installed and the machine is running Win XP pro.

    Concerning

    Bob

    Hello

I think that the laptop supports an IDE HDD controller that supports only 28-bit LBA as suggested by resident. This means that the controller does support max 128 GB IDE hard drives.

Since ATA - 6 (Ultra DMA mode 5 or Ultra-ATA100) the 48-bit LBA is supported but I n t think that Sam 2410-504 was equipped with the ATA-6 controller and therefore, it seems that 120 GB (128 GB HARD drive not available) disk HARD is the maximum that could be used.
