• So I try to import a button into a document in Dreamweaver, HTML in fireworks, but the button does not work.

  Yes, you are missing something.  you are probably confused about what you expect _parent to be.  use:

  trace (_parent)

  just before _parent.goto

  and if you have more than one _parent.goto which is, I suspect, causing your confusion, trace of them all.

  In any case, it can be mechanical failure. Check the connection of the power supply. If the power supply is ok and office doesn t start it can be really mechanical problem. Check also on the switch back (usually small size black with 1 and 0).

  With the exception of the space in "Mouse event", which is probably a copy paste the problem with these forums, there is nothing wrong with the code.  So your problem likely lies elsewhere than the code itself.
