  I'm using Oracle 11g SOA. I did a BPEL process that uses Business Rule. Now the BPEL process is deployed with business rules so how to change the value of the business @runtime rule. I don't want to change the value @design time and deploy the code again.

  Can you check is the deployment of "composer" is in Active state.

  In the weblogic administration console, navigate to Environment--> Servers--> SOA_SERVER1--> Deployments (tab) on the left side of the menu.

• SmartView lets admins run the Admin of business rules version?

  Just set the security on the business rule, don't give admin access to the business rule.

  You can also use the command line launcher to run batch scripts business rules, have a read of the business rules CmdLnLauncher.exe for more information.

  My client is using bpm11g, they asked when you deploy a new version of bpmn process with build-in the business rule, what will happen to the existing and update of the composer?

  The old rule will be updated with the new version or will be preserved as it was? If the latter is true, when the new version will be effective?

  What has to happen, is it time that you changed a BR in the composer, that a redeployment of the composite does not replace the amended administrative rules.

  You can / should export your composite of EM then you JDeveloper project reflecting changes in the BR in composer: using Oracle SOA composer with Oracle Business Rules - 11 g Release 1 (11.1.1.6.1).

• Error of the Hyperion select business rule planning task list

  Hi all

  I created an application of planning (11.1.2.3) with two planning types. I have lists of tasks for each of them.

  The problem occurs when I assign to a task, a business rule and this business rule belongs to the second type of plan, the selection list appears empty and when I go back and select the type of plan fist again, empty the list of continuous selection.

  Is there a bug in the planning (I guess)? Is there no work around for this problem?

  To-do lists are not specific to the Type of Plan.

  You assign objects to tasks, and they can be from anywhere in the same application.

  When you say the selection list what are you referring?  A command prompt that you have in your rule? Or when you try to assign your rule to the task?

  I've implemented on 11.1.2.3 without any problem.

  Have you done that you have deployed your calc rule manager?

  I get the following error when trying to run a Planning Business Rules of EPMA production environment. The same rules of business work without any problem in UAT which is exactly in line with the production.

  Add Server Essbase with IP address or host name and try again.

• Performance issues at the opening of business rule

  We work in collaboration with Hyperion version 9.2.1 and we have performance issues when opening the business rules. I have analyzed the issue and discovered that it has something to do with the assignment of access privileges to the rule.
  
  The authorisation scheme looks like as follows:
  
  User A is assigned to the group G1
  User B is assigned to the Group G2
  Group G1 is assigned to the XYZ group
  Group is assigned to the XYZ group G2
  Group XYZ is the owner of the 'basic user' delivery to the planning application.
  
  Without attributing any unrestricted access the rule company opens immediately.
  By assigning the privilege to access the group G1/G2 (post or get) the business rule opens immediately.
  By assigning access privilege to the XYZ group the business rule opens after 2-5 minutes.
  
  Anyone has an idea why this happens and how to fix this?

  This was a problem with the business rules for quite some time. Oracle made front and rear markets in later versions than yours; and they have issued patches address, if it is not completely solved the problem. Finally things seem to be much better in 11.1.1.3, although YMMV.

• How to kill the process of business rule?

  I have a series of business running in the background the same rule and are in the State in planning treatment. There is no session in the environmental assessments of these rules. We tried to restart application ESSSVR and even restarted the Essbase server, but it has not solved the problem.
  Can someone help me on these rules the Web for compensation planning?

  If there are no sessions in environmental assessments, then rules will not run without a doubt and a planning table must be updated.
  Go to the repository relational planning applications, go to the HSP_JOB_STATUS table, replace RUN_STATUS with the value of 2 for jobs that are running.

  I try to use the [newish] AND/OR the parameters in a calc script and can't seem to find the right combination for my task. My current code looks like this:

  for example scenario-> Version-> account

  But if the account is dense, it must be on the left side of the formula and in the case of IF statement that this must be like this

  To work this issue autour, you extend the value of timeout for business rules.

  1. Select Administration, then manage the properties.
  2 Select the Application properties to define the properties and values for a planning application.
  3. Add the property by clicking Add, entering the property in the empty line, you enter a value in the property
  Value for both of these.
  -HBR_MAX_WAIT_FOR_RULE
  -HBR_MONITOR_DELAY
  Values for the two columns must be defined in milliseconds.
  4 restart Planning server services.

  Please refer to the Guide to planning administrator for details on the properties of manage.

  New on Calc Mgr. I need to change a business rule, but when I open it, it will not change. When I try and delete a message comes up saying that another user is editing currenty. The other user has not worked here for quite awhile, so impossible. Is he blocked? How it free to the top?

  Normally the openning the rule with the name of the user who locked it and its closure would open the rule. However, you can recycle the service GestionnaireCalc and it should do the same trick.
