The checkbox in the column DB data record

Hi all

I created the article P1_checkbox (several checkboxes) using LOV(Select ename, empno from emp). Now when I checked the boxes, I want to INSERT these boxes given in the table in database 'emp_selected'.

So when I log in again application, the boxes have pre-selected data of "emp_selected" boxes unchecked the 'emp' table and when I uncheck some preselected check boxes and check the new boxes, it should be updated accordingly in "emp_selected".

My APEX oracle version is 4.2.

Thank you

  • Add/change the columns of data type (scripting)

    Hello

    I am writing a script to add default columns and their values in tables. So far, for me, it is possible to add columns to an existing table in the model.

    Then, I want to add value to the data type. I discovered there is a method called getDataType(). So far, I have not found the "setter; for this property.

    Like other scripts, I started by creating a table with columns, and then using the API to read the values.

    A simplified version of my code:

    get the columns of table

    myTab var = model.getTableSet () .getByName ("T_POSITIONS");

    colArray = myTab.getElementsCollection () .toArray ();

    loop through columns

    for (i = 0; i < colArray.length; i ++) {}

    the type of var data = colArray [i] .getDataType ();

    model.getAppView () .log (colArray [i] + "a datatype" + dataType);

    colArray [i] .setDataType ("VARCHAR2 (1)");

    }

    An error occurs when I want to run this script: could not find setDataType function in the object ID.

    I can't find the right method to add/change the datatype property.

    Any information would be appreciated.

  • Format the columns for data to Excel

    Hello, everyone.

    I'm working on a document that runs a query, fills a < table > with data, then spits out an Excel sheet for the user to open or save. I use the equivalent CFSCRIPT of CFCONTENT and CFHEADER to create the Excel file.

    Code:
      <cfscript>
        pc = getpagecontext().getresponse();
        pc.getresponse().setcontenttype('application/vnd-ms.excel');
        pc.setHeader("Content-Disposition","attachment;filename=ThisData_#DateFormat(now(),'yyyy-mm-dd')#.xls");
      </cfscript>

    Everything works very well, with one exception.

    The columns of the query that is returned is a varchar data type (10) - data is a value of "month year" as "May 2010" or "June 2011".» If you look at the data in a browser, it appears in this format ("month year"). But when the Excel file is created, it appears under the name 'May 12' or 'Dec-12 "(regardless of the month, the date is always 12).

    I'm sure it's because in Excel, the column is formatted as "Général" when I need her to be 'text '. Is there a way to tell CF that needs a particular column in Excel to fit a particular way?

  • How to count the number of data records?

    Hey guys, how to count the number of records, I had on a data object variable?

    Im having a result of sql query in a variable like this:

    oDB.resolveNode("#command").query.select.value = "SELECT * FROM Customers WHERE CliNombre LIKE ' % ' + input1 +" %' ";

    oDB.open ();

    oDB.first ();

    So I need to count the number of records retrieved by this SQL query at the moment. Help please

    Then move the cursor back to the first record after you have your account.

    There is a keyword count in SQL that will allow you to get the account of your request. You can run that first - get your account, and then run the actual query to get the Recordset. This would require a separate data connection. Some examples of code.

    var xfa.event.newText = inName;
    If (inName == "") {}
    App.Alert ("you must enter a name--try again!")
    }
    var nIndex = 0;
    While (xfa.sourceSet.nodes.item (nIndex) .name! = "DataConnection2")
    {
    nIndex ++;
    }

    oDB = xfa.sourceSet.nodes.item (nIndex) .racing var (1); pertaining to the specified data connection node
    App.Alert (ODB.saveXML ("Pretty"));

    var nIndex = 0;
    While (xfa.sourceSet.nodes.item (nIndex) .name! = "DataConnection3")
    {
    nIndex ++;
    }
    var oDBCount = xfa.sourceSet.nodes.item (nIndex) .racing (1); pertaining to the specified data connection node
    Configure sql call DB to get the number of records that match the criteria

    oDBCount.nodes.item (1).query.setAttribute ("text", "commandType");
    oDBCount.nodes.item (1).query.select.nodes.item (0) .value = "Select count (*) from table1 where AcctNumber = '" + inName + "'";
    oDBCount.open)
    oDBCount.close)

    Configure sql call DB to get the specified employee number

    oDB.nodes.item (1).query.setAttribute ("text", "commandType");
    oDB.nodes.item (1).query.select.nodes.item (0) .value = "Select * from table1 where AcctNumber = '" + inName + "'";
    App.Alert (ODB. Nodes.Item (1) .saveXML ("Pretty"));

    now connect to the DB and get a recording
    oDB.open)
    oDB.close ();

    Note the SQL command use the keyword count (take a look at the oDBCount section). This will return a number of return to the cllaer. When I set up the data connection, a node count (*) that appeared there. I dragged to the form and it has created a field called count that the onus at this node. When the query is executed, the number of resulting records returns to this field. You can have hidden it so that your users can not see it and also to change the binding votes to zero, so it is not included in the data file that is submitted when the form is complete.

  • Maximize the continuous digital data recording rate

    I'm trying to record digital data clocked outside large amounts quickly.  The data is only for post-processing.  What is the best way to get data from the port on the hard drive at the fastest possible pace?

    I connect using a PCIe 6537 B.  I log on 4, ports of 8 bits to 40,92 Mhz, so a rate of ~ 160MBytes per second.  I have two designs I've tried so far (a producer-consumer architecture and a DAQ.mx configure logging design).  Both models work if I connect only on two ports (effectively halfing the necessary flow) but fail to the width of 32 bits.

    My producer consumer architecture fails after about 30 seconds of recording successful message

    Error - 200613: Acquisition was stopped to avoid a crushing of the input buffer.

    My other DAQ.mx configures logging design fails quickly (~ 1 sec) with

    200361 error: Overflow memory on-board

    .

    I could be set it up incorrectly.  As I said, it works with 16-bit data width.  I don't know if the increase in the width of the data directly is the problem or if the increased flow to fail.

    I use this on a 3 GB ram windows xp using labview in 2012.  I have attached the vi of my two attempts and a picture of the DAQ.mx set the logging design.

    Well, I'd suggest the integrated PDM recording method would probably be you give best results, assuming that it works at all.  This record type opens a DMA channel of the material on the hard drive so it should not produce copies of useless data, which would probably be a producer consumer loop.

    I never tried logging TDMS without reading the data, a Read DAQmx should be used in the loop?  Your file contains TDMS data?

    The challenge of your hard drive?  It is a flat disk of laptop?  I recommend you test on a SSD, if possible, just to see.

    There are also properties to open up to a size of memory buffer.

    Start with one of the logging TDMS basic examples delivered with LabVIEW and work your way up from there.

  • determination of the sampling rate and the frequency waveform data record

    Hello

    I write a simple program that collect data from a triaxial accelerometer input, convert it to a frequency spectrum, and then save the time domain and the frequency of the waveforms in an external file separated.  I don't understand how to set the sampling frequency, however.  On the DAQ Assistant, I updated the acquisition mode "Samples continues" and read samples is 2 k, which corresponds to the total number of data points that are collected.  How can I program sampling for awhile, it 30 seconds, for example?  Wouldn't be better to set up a trigger, as it will continue to collect data up to what I told it to stop?

    I also want to save waveform data in a separate file that can be easily seen by other computers that have not installed Labview.  I have currently the program put in place to convert a text string of the waveform of the time domain and then save it in a text file or a spreadsheet.  It works fine, but I would also like to record the frequency wave, which is a different type of data.  How can I do this or is there a better way?

    My program is attached.  Thanks for your help!

    Here's how you can use the shift register to build the table, and also where you can choose to play exactly 100 samples per while the loop iteration.

  • So I think that I can not decrease the scale of the column with an alter statement

    Just learned this, kind of interesting for me. If the column contains data I can increase the scale, but I can't then decreased to its original scale, even if the numbers would be fit. Also from what I've read the only case to reduce a scale is to null, remove, or perhaps copy the column in a column being added.

    Just think it's kinda weird that you cannot reduce a number column, even if the values would be fit.

    This has something to do with the zero no significant?

    This has something to do with the zero no significant?

    Non - Oracle stores ONLY significant digits - not leading or zeros to the right.

  • The column that does not match when comparing two records

    Hi all

    We try to compare two tables and find the differences. So if two records (1 of each table) have same PK but not always matching because of some columns, then we would display this columnname. For example:

    Table 1

    2BB1P2PR2

    In the above example when I compare 2 tables all matches except Property2 online n ° 3. Thus, we would like to get an output like:

    Why you don't want no matter what exit for pk = 2?  Property2 does not correspond either to pk.

    What happens if the 2 columns (or more) do not match?  The following query would produce a list delimited, such as ' parents; PROPERTY2 '.

    WITH got_mismatch AS

    (

    SELECT pk

    , CASE WHEN t1.parent <> t2.parent THEN '; PARENT' END

    || CASE WHEN t1.child <> t2.child THEN '; CHILD ' END

    || CASE WHEN t1.properry1 <> t2.property1 THEN '; PROPERTY1 ' END

    || CASE WHEN t1.properry2 <> t2.property2 THEN '; PROPERTY2 ' END

    AS the offset

    FROM table_1 t1

    JOIN table_2 t2 ON t2.pk = t1.pk

    )

    SELECT pk

    , SUBSTR (incompatibility, 3) AS column_mismatch

    OF got_mismatch

    WHERE mismatch IS NOT NULL

    ;

    If you would care to post CREATE TABLE and INSERT statements for your sample data, and then I could test this.

    The query above does not count NULL values as inadequate.  If you want that, the same basic approach will work, but you can use DECODE instead of <> to compare columns.

    What happens if a pk exist in a table, but not the other?  You want an outer join, where I used an inner join above.

  • Use the Quick Date year section in the column header

    Version 11.1.1.7

    I have a dashboard command prompt which invites for a date.

    My analysis is filtered on this prompt.

    My data looks like this:

    Accounting_Date FY1_Data FY2_Data FY3_Data

    31 AUGUST 2014 200 300 400

    AUGUST 31, 2013 275 325 450

    My requirement is to display the exercise as the heading of column (as opposed to FY1_Data, FY2_Data, FY3_Data).

    FY1_Data is the year of the accounting Date - 2.

    FY2_Data is the year of the Date of accounting order - 1

    FY3_Data is the year of the accounting Date

    So, for the first record in my table example, the column headers must be (2012, FY2013, FY2014)

    For the second disc, the column headers must be (fiscal year 2011, 2012, FY2013).

    To do this, I have tried the following to the first column only:

    I put the column header to FY@{Year1}

    Then I put my dashboard accounting cut-off Date prompt to fill a variable presentation (ActPrdDt).

    Then I created another guest of 'Variable' dashboard with a year1 variable name.

    In this prompt, I used SQL results as the default selection:

    Select 'Date_Table '. "' Accounting_Date ' from 'MySubjectArea' where 'Date_Table '. "" Accounting_Date "= @{ActPrdDt}

    The problem is that the full date is displayed in the column header (AFA 08/31/2014).

    I tried to modify the sql statement in my second guest of dashboard for

    Select TO_CHAR ("Date_Table". "Accounting_Date", "YYYY")-2 of... "

    but the column header displays all values in the column, which is usually what it displays when there is an error in the sql statement.

    Is it possible to manipulate the sql statement to get only the year of the accounting Date and subtract 1 or 2 him?

    I changed the sql statement

    Of

    TO_CHAR ("Date_Table". "Accounting_Date", "YYYY")-2 "

    TO

    extract (year of "Date_Table". "Accounting_Date")-2 "

    This solved my problem.
