• How to use javascript or formcalc to reference the child controls (no name)

  I've created a ton of reports in the past, and I am now looking to create some reusable objects so that other people can use features of advanced form without having to learn to use scripts.

  A lot of the coding was done using this, .parent, etc. so that they can rename controls and subforms without having to worry about breaking the scripts. A question that I have is that some of my code looks at the child controls and refers to their name (for example, I have a code that uses setfocus to move the user to the first field of a subform).

  In most languages, there are ways to refer to child controls through an indexer or an array of elements or children. i.e. Subform.items [0] .rawValue.

  I know that this would cause some problems, but I think I could sort it out, if I only knew where to start. Is it possible to reference a child control without a name?

  Hi Scott,.

  The subform has a collection of nodes, you can run a loop though, as you suspected him.  If could show more than you want, but you can test the className to see if it is a field, then ui.oneOfChild.className to the type of the field. Then;

  If I create a custom composite MXML component in Flex, in this case based on mx:Form, how to hide internal controls?
  
  If I do not give any child a "id" tag, the host application will not see the child tags, fine.

  If the custom component is made in ActionScript, I could declare child controls with the "private" access modifier

  A MXML component is by default public if an id is assigned. There have been a number of requests to allow exactly what you're asking, i.e. of access modifiers in the MXML. It's something I think that Flex team on, but is not resolved.

• Control does not after the exit of the loop of event handler

  My application brings together several controls user input.  When the user presses the OK button, it exits the event handler and the treatment.  During the treatment, it is not able to read the new values of the controls.  And in fact is no longer meets the stop button.

  The behavior of Simon described is not a hard and fast rule, and the method to export the Image used to be a bit of an exception.  He would have so-called day controls of unopened FPs which method was used.  Reality was never quite what was described in the documentation, if I remember.

  If study you using detailed, you discover that this method works very well in SubVIs with some controls and others do not.  Relating to the feature "Loads the memory front panel", for a photo of command it is 'No', in a waveform graph, for example, is 'yes '.  Caveat: relying on this level of detail correct using LV is a bit risky.  Best to try it yourself.  Do not load the FP is a good sign that the method will not behave in a Subvi.

  The issue at hand, an indicator of the photo is an odd choice for me to use this method.  You have screws in the palette of the image to convert images in image data, and then export the image data in a PNG or JPG or BMP file directly.  Something catches you and then export could be exported directly without drawing.

• Cannot add child account to the parental control

  No matter how many times I add my child account to watch safely from the family, it does not work. The account appears in the list of monitored accounts and has the correct options I selected via the Family Safety however website when my child connects his account said "this account is not monitored by parental control.

  I deleted the computer AND the child of the Family Safety options site. I uninstalled and reinstalled parental control over the child's laptop computer but the account is STILL without oversight and shows via the control panel in Windows 7.

  When I log on the site of Family Safety on that account child watch the monitored account as 'white' "computername" when "in white" should be the account on the laptop.

  I am a computer professional and cannot understand it. What other options do I have?

  I found the answer on a long search of these forums...

  I had this problem because the computer name was the same as the name of my child's account. I changed the name of the computer to another one of his account on the computer and I was able to successfully activate Parental controls through parental controls on the computer.

  The only question the idea of Malkeleah, that is when you put a password on BIOS, all you need to do is pop the battery from the motherboard and the password is gone. Faronics has in some programs such as anti-executable and a few other programs that may block the name or ID of a process and prevent it from running (some antiviruses have that option, such as Avast, but usually is a pain in the ass to configure)

  I have this little class where I load a charger and turn it into a movieclip (and some other stuff).

  I also have this larger class where I have a lot of the classes bit.  And in trying to arrange them correctly, I use their width and height and stuff.

  But I guess that since it takes little time for classes to load and convert to movieclip and other things, when I access the width and the height of them in the large class, they are all zero.

  What I do now is sort of ugly, where after I convert/add the movieclip, I send the event bubbling in the smallest class and literally add them upward in the parent class until they are all done.

  What I tried to do was Add Event.ADDED variable of movieclip in small classes, great class.

  But that did not work and was just as ugly!

  If it is a symbol in the library that contains an element, then use the render event, or that contains shapes in a framework other 1 contributing to the width/height that you are trying to access, and then send an event from a frame other than a callback function.

  If it is a class in which you build objects, then shipping and event or use a reminder works when the width and height are ready to go.

  Hi, my 14-year-old bought her own laptop.  I installed Windows life family safety (WLFS) and linked to his user name on the site WLFS.
  (1) first he told me he wasn't, and we discovered that Kaspersky Anti-virus is blocking define us as a reliable application and password protected for the antivirus software.  WLFS SHOULD ALERT PARENTS TO THIS POTENTIAL SECURITY BREACH.
  (2) then he told me that he could disable the parental control via the control panel: > Panel > user accounts and Family Safety > Parental control > provider Elite > [click here] 'None' versus "WLFS." WLFS SHOULD ALERT PARENTS TO THIS POTENTIAL SECURITY BREACH.
  This is alarming!   What is the best way to solve this problem?  Shouldn't Microsoft remove this feature from the control panel or password protect or something?   Is there another solution besides me being an administrator on his laptop?  How he would be able to make changes on their own computer if I did?   We are very angry;  WLFS has worked great for us so far!  Help, please!

  Thank you for taking your time!  In fact, we have been successfully in Kaspersky parental control for him.  He is now 15.  WLFS program works very well for my 10 years, who doesn't know much about computers and has never entered a "Control Panel" of his own volition and don't know what to do when she got in there!  My son has another question: had taken programming and is autonomous led to learn more about computers.

  To remove a child under surveillance the family safely, please follow these steps:

  1. connect to https://familysafety.microsoft.com using the parent account.

  2. click on manage the list of the members of the family.

  3. check on behalf of the child, and then click Remove. Click delete again to confirm.

  If in case you are unable to delete the child's account or the account is not listed there, please provide us with the account parent and child affected so we can better help you with your concern. I you sent a private message where you can post the relevant accounts.

  I saw this thread answered for someone else... can you help me?  Same thing applies, security for the family, is on the side parents but not to the connection of the child. Cruelly by a nine year old :)

  For that to work, I installed Minecraft while logged in as an administrator. Then, I changed the permissions on the shortcut to add the "child" Windows user account I created. I gave that Win User all permissions account and then restarted. After that I connected to the account of the 'child' and launched the shortcut on the desktop and it worked.
