  I'm sorry to ask this question because I found 2 different answers, tried without result. So before you go crazy, I prefer to ask!

  Thus given mySelection = app.selection [0], how is possible to get the column's selection?

  I tried app.selection [0] .parentTextFrames [0].characters.itemByRange (0, x)

  with x being app.selection [0] .index.

  but then I'm stuck as if I add ".textColumns", I get an error

  I explored the second way using app.selection [0].textColumns.item (1).insertionPoints.item (1), but once I'm stuck again.

  As a beginner I don't understand why there is no simple built-in function to call in order to obtain such a result of base

  Now with regard to the issue of the image columns bound text compared to the blocks of text with multiple columns of text or span. Depends on what you're trying to achieve with your workflow.

  I want to do an interactive report in a table called "Componenta. In this table a numeric column that is not visible to the final report. I have attached a few screenshots below.

  This column has been added at a later date?

  If so, it will show by default. Run the report as a show and a developer and order the column in the Actions Menu and keep as default report parameters.

It was announced last year that consoles will be integrated in the next major release of Dreamweaver, and that a public beta would be released sometime this year. • Problem in drop-down list in the column Selector?

  Hi friends...
  I use the view selector to column for the first time in OBIEE.
  I have this problem:
  
  (1) even if I chose the columns in the left pane, my drop-down list is not filled with the corresponding values? Please let me now how to fill the drop down in the column picker.
  (2) I have a column count that has almost 1000 enteries of integers ranging from 1 to 500. I put only 5 values in my County of drop down (like the 50, 100, 200, 250, 500) that actually filters the column number as (less than these values). Suppose that user select 50 so it will filter the report less a 50-count indictment.

  for your second question... I don't know where you want to display these values if variable County presentation or somewhere else... ??
  Anyway, if it's in the guests... then follow these steps

  For column filter prompts:
  Select this particular column and create the bins on that particular column so that these 5 values and give the same name for this particular... as value...
  for 50--> 50 as display name
  for 100--> 100 name allow... like wise for the user to understand...
  Now create the same column guest on this particular column... and moving forward

  Variable application:
  In the variable of the presentation, select display , select the SQL... (some thing like this option, I don't remember exactly what it is... but using this, we can write the SQL code to display the values in the drop-down list)
  There, you write the following SQL code SELECT columnname FROM SubjectAreaName WHERE ColumnName IN (50, 100, 200, 250, 500)
  As we filter the values of column to contain only the values that we mentioned...

• A formula allows the last number in a column?

  Is it possible to have a work formula with the last number in a column or line automatically?

  I would like to be able to have a use form the last number in column B. I'll add the numbers to the list each month. And the sort numbers is not realistic because of the aspect from month to month.

  I know that I can change the formula of each month, but automatic is less prone to errors. It doesn't seem to be a function of 'last '. I work in the latest version of numbers and prefer not to spend at Excel.

  If you have no empty cells in the column, you can do something like this:

  

  = INDEX (array 1::B, COUNTA (table 1::B) + 1).

  The + 1 is necessary if there is a header row.

  Hi everyone, yet once landed upward with a problem.

  After trying many things to myself, finally decided to post here...

  I created a form in form builder 6i in which clicking on a button, the data gets exported to the excel sheet.

  It works very well with a single table. The problem now is that I cannot do the same with 2 tables.

  Because the tables have the same number of columns and the columns names.

  Here are the 2 tables with column names:

  You wonder if SQL can do natively, let's go.
  
  I have a static table with the same amount of rows and columns, that changes forever; It represents the distances between locations (e.g. countries).
  It's basically a distance matrix (you can find a good example on Wikipedia ).
  
  My SQL statement must extract the distances of this matrix, based on the IDS of countries located in another table.
  Select a field is simple:
  
  SELECT * from cdistances where countryid =
  (select countryid from countries where upper (country) = upper (& getcountry));
  
  When I run the present, I get a line of all distances to all countries of the country I go when asked. But I would limit the outcome of a country of destination that I entered.
  
  Of course, a CASE statement would solve this nicely, but since we are talking more than 200 countries, which will become unmanageable.
  
  Another method that I approached is to use a variable as a column, as below:
  
  SELECT & getdestination of cdistances where countryid =
  (select countryid from countries where upper (country) = upper (& getcountry));
  
  It works well when I get directly the column identifier (manually from the keyboard) but I would like to automate even further.
  My names of columns in the matrix of distances are named as follows:
  countries1, countries2, countries3... country200 - where the number ID the real country, preceded by the constant string 'country '.
  So I tried to define a variable as a concat between 'country' and another variable:

  Of course, it does not; the output of the script is:

  Is your table called chessking or testdistances, or you have 2 separate tables?

  I'm guessing that your single table is testdistances, and you want to pass a list of countryids, such as that of 3.1 to a query and get results as follows:
