Sort sort the columns number of lines n columns in the RTF PivotTable but hide them.

Hello

I'm trying to sort on the columns number of sort for lines n columns in the PivotTable but hide them. Any help appreciated.

Attached model RTF, XML and output required. Thank you

Please check your email that I have forwarded to update the model.

by default, it performs a sort on the column, we used to pivot rows and columns. If we need custom sort, we must specify that column in the logic that was present in the C form field.

by default, you are as below

Custom sort

{INDUSTRY_sort, o = a, t = n} « ; » MONTHS {Month_sort, o = a, t = n} '; SALES '; "' sum '? >

  • Is it possible to group objects, which are placed in the project and then hide them with line a single action-script? THX in advance, Philip

I work in CP 9 and I'm going to try the following: the user must be able to make ALL invisible or visible to highlight boxes by clicking on the corresponding button on the first page layout. Thus, for example, if the user does not want the highlight boxes appear, click on "Hide the boxes" and boxes are hidden for the rest of the project. I managed to get to this point for help... but it is still a lot of work for me to manually enter all the different names of these boxes in the action-script. So my question is: is it possible to group objects, which are placed in the project and then hide them with line a single action-script? THX in advance, Philip

Actually... releasing the CpExtra HTML5 widget, it will be possible.

It has a function called @syntax that allows you to perform an action (for example HIDE) automatically on any object throughout a project of Cp9 simply based on the name of the object.

So for example, if you named all the boxes to highlight you want hidden this way to have the suffix _HideMe and you say CpExtra you want all of them hidden if a user variable is assigned to a certain value, then that is what will happen.

That's the good news.  The bad news is that the widget is still in BETA final tests at the moment, so you may need to wait a bit before you can realize your idea.

  • number of lines in the procedure

I want to get the no. of the line count (rows inserted) in the procedure when I insert the record in any table in the procedure. When I tried to print sql % number of lines per dbms_output it gives me 0, but I have inserted 1 record successfully.help me.

number of rows SQL % always gives you the number of simple lines of a dml statement

    for example:

insertion in x select * from there where rownum<>
Here the number of lines sql % will be 9.

Now, if I run another same insertion if for the same table, the number of lines sql % will be reset and start from scratch.

    I hope this helps...

  • Problems with sorting of columns and the number of lines in the report

    Hello

I'm having a problem with sorting of columns and the number of lines displayed in a report.

This report displays the data correct, but if I try to sort on a column when I click on the column heading in the report returns no line... I need to click on the "go" button to refresh the report (with the column sorted now) in to display the data.

Similarly, I display only 15 lines per page. If I try to view the lines 16-30, 31-45, etc., that it returns no line until I click on the 'go' button to refresh again.

Has anyone else had (and overcome) the same problem?

    Thank you

    Joseph

    Joseph,

    2 questions:

    1) are you using the elements referenced by the report page to filter etc.. ? If so, you're failing values of these when the loading of the page?
    (2) are you using PPR page through the results?

If so, it could be a problem with the different types of session state, as Anton Nielsen blogged about here:
    http://c2anton.blogspot.com/2008/12/Oracle-Application-Express-Apex-three.html

If so, you can use calculations or processes to set element values in session state persistent during page rendering, as Anton mentions. In this way, when you use PPR page values will be available in session state and your report should work fine.

    Anthony.

  • Sorting the columns showing only a line

    Hello

I have a report of sql query that I helped sort on all columns. When I click on the header to sort a column report shows only one line.
If anyone can help me, I would really appreciate it!

    Thank you!

Once I met a similar problem like the one you describe. I suspect that the problem was related to the data that the report was released.
I was able to make the problem disappear by disabling "Partial Page Refresh" for the report. Define 'NO' for the attribute "Activate partial Refresh of Page" in the page 'Report attributes' disable PPR for the report.

This number is no longer a sort by column?

    Hi Casey,.

Fix. Categories is not supported in this application of numbers.

Experiment with sort & filter (in particular the filter). You can find a useful substitute.

  • Numbers will not sort the columns to go up or down

    Hello

I type numbers on NCDs lion 10.8.5 on my mac pro and I've made a few changes to a table of numbers distributed and now it will not sort columns by go up or down.

I shared a few lines so I could keep track of what is taught to my students on a weekly basis and I even divided the weeks in 2 rows, as many of my students see me 2 x per week and are in types of different classes (see screenshot), because I did it when I right click on columns (a - C) where I have the time to class numbers will not let me click to sort. It is important that I can easily click and sort all students depending on the day / time they are coming.

    Thank you!

    Hi Preston,

Numbers will not sort the merged cells (or split).

Fusion (or separation) cells allows an easy-to-read 'format', but it is best to keep your table "workaholic" single.

Best practice is to make each line a complete file (name of the student, week, lesson or other).

    Kind regards

    Ian.

  • Sorting on columns with report based on a model - named column (model line)

    Hi forum,

I'm trying to reproduce the column regularly a report feature in a report of 'Named column' sort.
The column headings are in the region 'before lines' 'Before the first and after the last line text' model:
    <th onClick="sortByColumn('#REGION_ID#',5)">Frequency</th>
    citing this javascript:
    function sortByColumn(regionId,colNo) {
         var u = "f?p=124:401:&SESSION.:fsp_sort_" + colNo + "::RP&fsp_region_id="+regionId.substring(1);
           document.location.href=u;
    }
I would like to sort descending when a user clicks on the column again and display the column sort arrows (up/down).
However, given that the sorting is kept by the user, even if the page cache is disabled, it would be necessary pick up the sort column and order (ascending, descending) on the loading of the page or the query at a later time using ajax, so that the display type (arrows) remains synchronized with the actual sorting.

Someone at - it an idea how to proceed?

    See you soon

  • Sort the selected column

I want to preserve the first column of a worksheet and only sort other columns.  Is there a way to do this?

You can drag other columns on the canvas, forming a separate, table he sort them and then drag them into their original table.

But what is in the first column that you do not want to sort?  If it is an order of ranking (1 2 3 etc.) you could put = ROW() in the first column, and it will preserve the order.

  • Column data reading according to the number of lines

    Hi guys,.

I am currently stuck on the problem of recovering the data from my database (MS Access) according to the number of lines, he has at any time (without having to know how many lines there will be during the programming of this part).

First, I show how my program works. I'm working on an automated food, order and after the customer has chosen his power, system information such as the name of the food, quantity and price of the food will be written to the MS Access database table. (for example table name "Orderingtable" in MS Access) For my case, 1 order of food will occupy 1 line of the database table. In other words, as part of the same, if he orders 3 different foods, 3 rows will be filled in my database table.

I would then get the part number of 'Quantity' for each order of the database and summarize the amount finally to count the total number of orders in the table of database at any time. This addition of result will be then shown on the Panel before informing the customer how many orders waiting's just prior to his order. In this case, it can get out if he wants to, if the number of orders is too big for its waiting time.

However, I do not know how many lines my 'Orderingtable' will be 'Orderingtable' because both accumulate lines and data lines until being command to remove. Therefore, I cannot predict how many lines I program the party totals the number of quantity for each line.

Is it possible that I can get the part of the 'quantity' without having to know the number of rows in the database so that I can count the total number of pending orders just by adding up the value of the quantity for each line?

I do not wish to "code" my program by limiting the tables of database for us are going to say, only 50 lines at any time.

Attached below, this is how my database table "Orderingtable" looks at, which will be used to extract the 'Quantity' column so that it can count the total number of orders and be shown/shown on the front panel of my Labview program.

I hope that you are able to help me!

Thank you so much in advance.

    See you soon,.

    MUI

You can also use the SUM function:

SELECT SUM (Quantity) OF the order WHERE Queue_No = %d

And no need of an "Order By" clause, if you add just the quantities.

I'm on version 4.1.1.00.23 of the APEX. I've created a classic report and I am trying to sort. Here's how I'm trying to sort by column name. I have TotPGPV with sorting sequence 1 desc and NewTOTPGPV with sorting sequence 2 desc. I have Count1, Count5 with the sort column. What I'm asking is when the report is run can column sorting to default Count1 and Count5 descending instead of the ascendant. I don't see anywhere to set the default value for the sort column.

Hi - on the report of the page attributes - that you show in your attached screenshot - you can select the columns to sort on the sort sequence as well as the direction of the sort, i.e. for a given column, you can choose to allow sorting on this column, what position this column must be in the sort sequence and whether to sort Ascending or descending by default (i.e. '1' means sort this column first and bottom-up and "1 desc") sort this column first and downhill). Don't forget that once you click on one of the headings of column during execution, it changes your sort settings and these settings are stored in your preferences, that is, they are used again the next time you log in your application and rerun the report.

Why tool_type:B is the top of the table instead of A?

    Thanks for your help.

    Update:

I try to set the tool type and the name of the tool front of amount. This works for simple table at the highest.

but it does not work when I drag year column heading, then sort

    Sort "type tool" (CSA)

-Add a 2nd sort on 'name of the tool' (CSA)

-Add 3rd sorting on "amount" (DESC) in the year 2015

    It doesn't do anything.

    2015-07-08_084632.png

I can solve this problem by sorting tool type (1) in growing. sorting, then add a descending sort to make this work amount (2)...

    Thanks Orcl01

In your case you keep the tool type (1) ensure that Crescent. Then add a sort descending amount (2). It will work.

    Thank you

In the code the first comment is wrong in fact, I think, this one:
"There is no table built in oracle, you must declare your own."
I remember there are some types of collection of the system, if I not mix with something, I remember there was a sort of like they were undocumented, so we can say legally that the comment in the code has always been right.
