the column position

When you add a column to a table through the alter table command can specify where in the table, I want the new column to place? So I can't say new column should go after one column

Rep. :
No, there is no such thing, new column arrived at the conclusion. Why? The syntax is just like that.
Question:
What is the need to define the position of the new column?

    Thank you.

    The current version of Dreamweaver does not display the column number. However, the media don't.

    In parentheses is a free, open-source editor created by Adobe. It was announced last year that consoles will be integrated in the next major release of Dreamweaver, and that a public beta would be released sometime this year. You can either wait that the public beta version (should be pretty quickly), or you can download media immediately.

  • Column position of the cursor

    Among the interesting features of Homesite is that you can in addition to dsiplaying line numbers, you can click anywhere in your code (or text file), and the lower left corner of the screen will indicate the column position of the cursor. This is useful when parsing text files and debug javascript that gives you a line number and column position of the error code. I have line numbers enabled in Dreamweaver, but is there a way to determine the column position of the cursor (the number of characters in the line)?

    Thanks, I did a feature request.

    This is the detail view of the interactive report. You can use it to create a view of the data returned by the report with a different structure. This is described as "detail view" as all of the columns in the report query can be referenced in the model of retail #COLUMN_VALUE # the substitution syntax, including the columns where the attribute of text to display as column has the value Hidden that do not appear elsewhere in the report.

    Below is the setting of the user interface for the region of its report.  Please specify.

    These settings control positioning and appearance of full interactive report region, not the content of the report layout.

    column order does NOT elements.
    If you insist blindly, then create new table with columns ordered you want
    then move the data to the new table & finally to rename the tables.

  • Vaidate file flat if column position of the change

    Hello

    I get a flat file where the position of the modified column.
    Suppose that the column name is DEPT and I get a number of characters doing in this file.
    And the position of the column in the flat file is now 16-20 and in the next week, the position of the column in the flat file is 34 to 38.

    Appreciate your quick response.

    Thank you
    Lony

    Lony,

    You did not ask any questions!
    However, it seems, is that you need a dynamic way to check if the columns are there where they were needed?
    Currently, there is not a way in ODI to perform this validation. The data are data in a flat file. Thus, ODI cannot differentiate between if 16-20 data now at 34-38, or vice versa.
    Even if the headers are present in the data file, ODI doesn't have a way to connect the header data.

    You will need to use external scripts to perform this validation.

    Thanks in advance

    Srikkanth.M

    Hi Srikkanth,

    It's previous post on the use of views.
    What you could do is take your table T1 with columns: C1, C2, C3.
    And you need to re - order C2, C3, C3, then what you could do is

    Create view v_t1
    as
    Select C2, C3, C4
    from T1;

    Note: There is nothing on the oracle technology in this solution, you also need not to be a pro, it is same in MS Access. Structured query language. Don't underestimate your self by saying new to Oracle.

  • Filter column position of the interactive report

    Hi all!

    First of all, sorry my English.

    I have a problem with filters standart on the interactive report column heading. Version 4.0.2 APEX. It is interactive report based on the view. Nothing unusual - behavior and the default templates. I have also the region of filter on the page, and after user-press "apply" button my package variables to session state of filter. View used these values. It is worked and filtered interactive report. But when I try also to use the filters on the heading of the column that is nothing past. I have try the column type: report Standart column and display text. I have try the Filter Type column: by default based on the Type of column and the list defined by the use of... Contain. Nothing, as no filter exists at all. Filtering with worked as usual action buttons. I think that this problem in a SEPARATE implicit in this filter. I know that there are quantitative limitation of DISTINCT values with column header filter, but I have nothing in the filter. And even I have type the value and press ENTER, nothing happened. Columns with Date type is fine, but String and number does not.

    There is no work around? Thank you.

    Solved within "parameterized" view, remove and replace with SELECT with params.

  • How to specify the width of the column for classic report in 5 Apex?

    5 apex, I click on the name of the report in tabular form and then go to the tab report attributes.  When you look at the attributes column, there is a list of the database columns that are included in the report.  One of the attributes is the column width.  Regardless of the value, as I type, the column widths do not change when you view the results of the report.

    For a particular column of data in the report, which is editable, this is show only about 20 characters and I want to show him perhaps 50 characters.  It would be great if it would also wrap up the value of a new line when the size of the data is too large to fit in the allotted space.

    I guess that it is a simple setting and I looking in the wrong place.

    Help, please.

    Thank you

    Kim

    Hi Kim

    Bakhtiyar post is the correct answer.  However, there are occasions where does not display the width option in the attributes Panel. that was the position that I assumed you are in.  It depends on how the form of tables was created.  If it was created using the wizard, no problem.  If the form has been created manually (IE without using the Wizard), and then depending on the model used, the width option does not appear.  The only way we found it is to recreate the form (using the Wizard).  Or use the css above.

    I hope that your form displays the width option.

    Apologies - I have managed to reproduce the original problem in 12.1.0.2.

    The problem with ATTR column names is that you use a local collection declared in a package.

    You need a SQL type.

    But does not change my position when it comes to a sensible direction to go.

      4  ,employeeid  number
      5  ,menuid      number(5,0)
      6  ,callbypanel  nvarchar2(10)
      7* ,employeename varchar2(100));
    SQL> /

    Type created.

    SQL> create or replace type sayam_tbl as table of sayam_obj;
      2  /

    Type created.

    SQL> get test3.sql

  • Mark from a table where the column value is a colon-delimited list

    Version: Oracle Database 11 g Enterprise Edition Release 11.2.0.2.0 - 64 bit Production

    Hello

    This is a new query of a query Frank helped me with: https://community.oracle.com/message/12506306#12506306

    Demand is all users to restrict the report based on a multiple selection on the front-end server (application APEX) filter.

    The filter returns that a colon-delimited list and the data in the table can be saved in a delimited by a colon list too. There may be 1 to n values (up to 4000 characters).

    I need a WHERE clause that will allow a match, if it exists, between the data in the column of the Table and the Mult-selection list filter.

    The abbreviated for this post query would be something like:

    SELECT slt_id, slt_item, slt_owner

    OF slt_dashboard

    WHERE slt_owner IN (colon delimited page list);

    The Create Table and Insert statements:

    CREATE TABLE slt_dashboard
    (
      dashboard_id  NUMBER,
      slt_id        VARCHAR2(10),
      slt_item      VARCHAR2(2500),
      slt_owner     VARCHAR2(4000),
      slt_type      VARCHAR2(25),
      slt_year      NUMBER,
      parent_id     NUMBER
    );

    --Insert slt_dashboard
    INSERT INTO slt_dashboard(dashboard_id,slt_id,slt_item,slt_owner,slt_type,slt_year,parent_id)
    VALUES (12,'1.1','Implement revenue enhancement initiatives','E15889:JPARISI:BDUR63','Business Commitment',2014,6);

    INSERT INTO slt_dashboard(dashboard_id,slt_id,slt_item,slt_owner,slt_type,slt_year,parent_id)
    VALUES (13,'1.2','Strengthen our Energy position','KVROMAN','Business Commitment',2014,6);

    I have a function to separate the list delimited by two points in a table for the IN clause, but because these values can be saved in a delimited list of Colon in the column of the Table, I have a problem, being able to analyze the data in the column, AND the filter data.

    The function is:

    CREATE OR REPLACE FUNCTION get_list( p_string IN VARCHAR2
                                        ,p_delimiter IN VARCHAR2 DEFAULT ':'
                                       )
        RETURN vc_array_1
        PIPELINED
    IS
        l_string VARCHAR2( 32000 );
        l_array wwv_flow_global.vc_arr2;
    BEGIN
        l_array     :=
            APEX_UTIL.string_to_table( p_string
                                      ,p_delimiter
                                     );

        FOR i IN l_array.FIRST .. l_array.LAST
        LOOP
            PIPE ROW ( TRIM( l_array( i ) ) );
        END LOOP;

        RETURN;
    END;

    The function called in the query in the form (it's just for reference in case someone wanted to know):

    SELECT ...
    FROM ...
    WHERE slt_owner IN (SELECT * FROM TABLE( get_list( :P115_SLT_OWNER ) ));

    But I can't use this approach because the data in the Table can be saved in a delimited list of Colon too.

    Desired output:

    If the Mult-Select list filter contains: E15889:JPARISI then

    1.1 implementation of the E15889 revenue improvement initiatives; JPARISI (it's a semicolon between the names)

    If the multiple-selection list filter contains: KVROMAN then

    1.2 strengthen our position of energy KVROMAN

    If the multiple-selection list filter contains: BDUR63:KVROMAN then

    1.1 implementation of the BDUR63 revenue improvement initiatives

    1.2 strengthen our position of energy KVROMAN

    Please let me know if something is not clear.

    Thank you

    Joe

    I went to approach the Table and the Page works perfectly.

    Thank you to everyone!

    Thank you
