  I have a quick question...

  I inherited a Flash map generator. Basically what it does, is that the end user can submit their own design to create their own exclusive gift/loyalty for the specific brand cards.

  My questions, this is one of the customers of our customers complained that their images colors are not printing as the original works of art. They are subject to CMYK images and Flash Builder map spit card finished in RGB.

  I know that this is how Flash handles the colors. but I wonder if it just what I can do to get the card Flash Builder make output color as close to the colors of the original CMYK image as possible? Photoshop color correction is not an option.

  In general, because the two areas do not overlap, you are sure not not to convert all colors to another accurately. At best, you might want to find a library that has a lot of logic by guessing the color appropriate for the conversion from CMYK to RGB. You must then take the bitmap you have loaded and use something like a BitmapData to read the color value of each pixel, translating to CMYK in RGB pixel by pixel.

  I have really great basic example of a function in AS3 Basic CMYK to RGB conversion would be:

  You would end up with something right, close, in RGB. To convert the RGB in number (converts Flash hex numbers in any case) is as simple as:

  It returns a number, but still just Flash Converts hexadecimal number in any case. If I used this on the original color to CMYK (c: 0 M:38 Y:100 K:0) he would return (R:255 G:158 B:0) RGB or hex (16752128). However to enter this same color CMYK in an application like Photoshop yeilds quality RGB (R:255 G:174 B:0).

  The difference? Here is a box drawn in Photoshop in CMYK color mode with this next to Flash drawing CMYK color 2 boxes, one with the color of Photoshop converted, second with the color conversion codes above. Photoshop and Flash using the Photoshop color conversion is obviously much better than the result on the right. You just need to be a very solid library for the missing color-space conversion. And even as good as Photoshop, you can still see a difference between Photoshop and Flash together.

  Oh yes, I see. But the destination color profile does not need to be CMYK in his name to give you output CMYK. Try one of the ICC profiles from the beginning of the category (divided by a black line in the menu drop-down) with "Coated FOGRA27", "Coated FOGRA39", etc., and you will see that you will output CMYK ultimately (all this category ICC profiles are based CMYK output profiles).

• Problems with changing colors

  As far as I know, I'm running Vista Basic and Aero for my color scheme.  Don't know which, it seems not switch back.  in any case, I would like to change the color of my windows, but when I go to the customization and windows color and appearance, it is just straight up with the appearance settings.  I made sure that I have all the requirements (as far as I know)... I am running Home Premium and have 2 GB.

  Can anyone give me any help on how to solve this problem?  If you could, it would be appreciated!

  You click Advanced in the appearance dialog box to get the color settings.  NOTE: Depending on what theme or settings you used in appearance, the color you select may or may not apply - it explains that where you set the colors.

• The cursor position can go beyond the limits when programmed with change of position

  I have the VI joint that has 2 buttons on it to move the cursor right and left of an increment when pressed.  (The code works when I replace with another chart of mixed signals with the same data as this one).  For some reason, the cursor will move beyond 608 to 613 to the right and the left.  I have the shows all the parcels market, but it doesn't seem to affect the thing.   Any ideas as to why this is happening?

  I have not studied in detail what is happening in your case, but as the sliders are locked in patches, it seems more reasonable to use the property "cursor index. It sets the index position of the table data where the cursor is locked. Seems to work very well (and without all this only convoluted songs and dances with cursor lists and names of labels).

  When I use paint tool to paint on lighter colors on a layer, it always goes under the colors darker on the same layer. Even if I paint the darker color first and the lighter color, second, the lightest color continues to go under the darker color. And it's all happening on the same layer too! It's like photoshop is to order the colors based on what color goes on top and what colors light up and down in the order how dark the color is.

  How can I do so that the color that I finally painted goes on top?

  See the blending mode in the Toolbar Options paint is set to Normal.  There is a parameter 'Behind' who will actually do what you describe.

  Also check your layers panel blend modes and settings for each layer.  Maybe not relevant in the present case, but recommended when the strange behavior happens in the layers.

• When I select a single object in a layer and try to move it with the mouse, everything goes with...

  I had this problem where I can't use the tool move with the mouse properly. I'll go and select an item on a layer and then try to move it with the mouse (move tool). I did this before and still do all the time on Photoshop on my other machines. However, on my laptop it will not work. I take the only object I want to go and the second I move, is by default moving each layer in my folder. The only way to get around is to use the arrows, but which becomes laborious and frustrating.

  Any ideas?

  Maybe you have enabled automatic selection? There is a checkbox for it just at the top of the interface.

• Recolor only wheel constantly change colors and color groups of color selections, rather than update the colors to work with new Illustrator CC 2015.

  Whenever I use the tool to work to redefine colors in Illustrator normal it shows just the colors of the selected artwork. It now automatically keeps showing groups of colors and rearrange the colors and their display oddly. When I click the pipette for "colors of the selected picture" it goes back to normal, but as soon as I close it and reopen it is goes back to color groups once again. Half the time, the colors do not yet exist in the work. The two background images are how its been looking and acting lately. The very last image at the bottom, this is how it was before the update. I use this 24/7 tool is incredibly frustrating, I know there are other ways to change the colors, but it's the quickest way to the type of work I do. Thanks for the replies!

  I read the help and see a Jan Kalibi tut on the color picker and the paint. The instructions indicate that the eyedropper tool is supposed to choose the foreground color, but...

  If I choose the pipette tool, is choosing and setting the background instead of foreground color, unless I have hold there alt kewhen the eyedropper tool is selected.

  When you use the Paintbrush tool that I'm supposed to be able to hold down I touch temp switch to the eyedropper tool, and then select the new foreground color and release the tool resets the brush, but once more the pipette is defining the background instead, color and the only way I can change colors is to use the X key to switch on the foreground color backgroung?

  The only way I can get the eyedropper tool to select the foreground color is actually select the eyedropper and hold down the alt key or if in a brush choose the key I hold and select the ALT at the same time which is quite inadequate.

  Is there something wrong here or it's me.

  Any combination of keys to use with the HUD color picker, it will only set the background choice color and I have to use the X key to move to the forefront.

  I thought it might be a problem related to using Open GPU settings but turning out that does not change the general problem.

  Follow these steps:

  • Click on window - color to bring up the COLOR Panel.
  • Notice the black border around one of the two-tone icons at the top left.  It's a bit darker than the other.  I bet you have the lower-right - the background color.
  • Click the foreground color icon at the top left to move the black border there.  This will cause the foreground color to enjoy with the eyedropper tool here on unmodified.

• Problems with change/edit in illustrator 4

  So, I'm building my first site in catalyst. I designed my site in Illustrator 4 and it imported catalyst. I had all my States/transitions built and everything seems to work fine. I then returned to change a pice of placeholder text by clicking on the heading, is going to change/edit in illustrator 4 and then by registering and accepting the changes. Everything seemed to go well until I went to run the project. Then I noticed on the transition on the page which was the updated text would flash back to the old text before going to the new page. The text was set to fade and fade out when you click on a button. Discoloration in works fine, but the fade out has a glitch where it is flashing the old text disappearing. I tried refreshing / reboot, everything I could think of, as he always does. When I play the transition within the CF, I noticed that it shows a bunch of code that this text should be. Sometimes fast to read all this and I don't understand if I could. Any ideas what's happening?

  Given that you're in transition this text, Im guessing that you have this text in a minimum of two States. When you did "change it in Illustrator" there is change in the State you work. If you look at even the textfield in the other State, it will be the old man. One thing to do to fix this, is the State where you have the change, right-click on it and choose 'do the same in all States. Now, one thing to know is that this action literally makes the textfield exactly the same on all States it seems. So X, Y, width, height, color, alignment, everything will be the same. It will be a bit crappy to have to redo the X / Y, but it will be visually the same object. It's my best guess about what you can do to try to fix. I hope this helps.

  In Windows 8, the color of the bars title in all applications is determined by the operating system not Firefox. This varies according to the theme of your operating system, but by default, it is a kind of 'average' colors sampled in your background. This replaces the Aero translucent look of Windows 7.

  So detestable green color is most likely taken from your screen background image. To get rid of him the best bet is to change your background.
