  What are the details of the correct file, and given that you will not experience this problem with other effects, I wonder if there is an installation problem. You have another system, you can try the project, even without the media? If it opens here, maybe reinstall first on the system where the effect is reported as missing can solve the problem.   There is a limit of 4000 x 4000 pixels... .so I use photoshop or something to make your photos less than 4000px (at 72 dpi), and then import...? should fix.

  Any AMD or NVIDIA GPU on 768 VRAM is approved to operate for the Mercury playback engine GPU acceleration. Any GPU are only not should work, but it is not just one of those that we have tested or recommended.

  Keep in mind, this list of GPUS are recommended. If they are not on the list, this does not mean that they will not work. They will do it. I'll see if I can add some verbiage to the minimum requirements to make this point more clear.

  When I try to load Adobe Premiere Pro I am presented with the following statement:
  
  DirectX cannot be run on this version of windows. This version of windows is 3.X or a version of windows NT that does not support this version of Direct X. Please do not attempt to install Direct x except in these operating systems. CTX is designed to work with Windows 95 or later and Windows NT 4.0 and later only. This error message can also occur if the material is not compatible with this version of Direct X.

  I loaded the entire collection video V2.6, including Adobe Premier Pro, my portable 32 bit and it loads perfectly. The laptop, however, is not powerful enough for handling serious editing. If it wasn't for the above statement of DirectX I would think that the problem is that Adobe Premiere Pro must simply not load on a 64-bit computer. In addition, in the near future, I want to upgrade to the latest Adobe CS4 Master Collection but must first work with Adobe Premiere Pro 1.5

  Increase memory 16 GB on XP 64 with 1.5 will not help at all. Increase memory on Win7-64 will be useful, but not with 1.5. You must upgrade to CS4 for the benefit of that.
