the conversion. NEF to JPG color problem

When I convert a. Photo NAVE to. JPG color is noticeably desaturated.  I know that JPG is strongly compressed of NAVE and understood the loss of color is the result of compression, but then I discovered I can open the JPG file in Photoshop and the normal color is back.

Alos, I can convert. NAVE in PNG and color remains normal.

I am trying to get into taking photos in Raw format, but this issue frustrates me.

I would appreciate any information on this problem.

Not exactly what 'color space' is, however, I was under "Proof Setup" to "working CMYK".  When I changed it to 'RGB Windows', equal faded color JPG saved.  Don't know what that means.  How can I get information on 'color management '?

OK... Well this will take some time...

In Camera Raw, there is a link to information that acts like a button in the center of the window under the image... he say what color space Camera Raw opens the image in and the size and the resolution... see who? Well, regardless of the colorspace you select here (there are only 4 possible) should be the same color space you're had Photoshop set to use in the color in RGB settings. So if you have Camera Raw processing in Adobe RGB then you want Photoshop also use Adobe RGB as the RGB working space in Photoshop color settings dlog...

According to your description, you have the Camera Raw ProPhoto RGB value and game of Photoshop's color management is disabled or some other default and you look at the result of the incorrect color settings ugly. Which, sorry to say, it's something much more grand that can be addressed in a reply to the forum...

  • Failure of the conversion due to SSL certificate problems - can work around this problem?

I began the process of migration of a collection of virtual machines in an environment of KVM to an existing cluster of vSphere and try to use the converter (5.5) do a dynamic conversion/migration of a Ubuntu box, but it does not reason create the virtual disk on one of the hosts because of the SSL certificate, and I found no other messages or articles specifically on this (looks like most associated with SSL include improving speed)

In the worker newspaper, I can see that:

    • The converter is able to successfully create the target VM
    • The attempt to create the virtual disk is defective for the certificate SSL is not invalid (all systems in the cluster appear to be using default certificates from VMware).  In the log file of the worker:

    • The goal of the virtual machine is removed.

Is it possible to simply disable the validation of certificate for this process?  In the newspaper, it looks like a registry key that it would control, but I have not found any information on this subject (or guessed correctly).  Or can I import this certificate on the local Windows system running converter to get around it (I could not with this approach, but either)

It's really not clear to me which system validation.  While the worker log shows it connect to the vSphere host, there is no such line indicating it connects to the host where the target VM is located, and it looks like this is the host with the certificate which is considered not valid.   Validation occurs not on my local system running the converter? (the parameters of the vCenter server shows that the box 'vCenter requires a verification of certificates SSL host' is unchecked already)

    Thank you

  • problem about dynamic data to the conversion of table 1 d

    Hi all

I have problem with the conversion between dynamic data and table 1 d.

I wrote a simple VI to show the problem, as the attached picture. Convert dynamic data in table 1 d, and then return to the dynamics of data, I use 3 tables of waveform display data in 3 different places, but only 'force contact 2' the graph looks normal and the 2 other cards are strange data shows. In addition, the probe indicates that data are all just before going to the charts. What is wrong with him?

    Can someone help me?

When you convert a table, you lose your calendar information.  You need to convert a waveform and manipulate waveform data.  Use a Structure of elements in Place with waveform components to manipulate waveform data.

  • Color problems: the red color has disappeared from my computer

    Original title: color problems

The red color has disappeared from my computer. The moniter is ok.

    Hello

You did it changes on your machine before the problem?

It could be a hardware failure.

Things that can be loaded are listed below:

    broken monitor cable has...
    b. defective monitor.
    c. faulty graphics card.

    You can consider measurements:

    Step 1:

Double check that monitor cable is firmly attached. Try the Wiggles, see if the color returns.
    Step 2:

Test another monitor on the PC (Personal Computer), and/or the monitor on another PC.
    Step 3:

You may have a bad cable, or the monitor may be defective.

    Step 4:

Right-click on the desktop and select Properties. Go to the tab settings, and report on what choice was filed under 'Color quality' and what is the other choice in the drop-down list?

If there is no choice of color quality better than what you have, you may not use the correct driver for your video card or monitor.

Uninstall and reinstall the drivers for video card and see if the red color appears.

Follow the steps in the link to uninstall and reinstall the video card drivers.

By right-clicking: Desktop, then click on: personalization / window color and appearance / settings (Advanced) appearance, Windows user can assign a background color of the active window in any application.  This is useful for those of us who don't want a stark white screen; We can assign a mild pastel tint which may be easier on the eyes for long term sessions.

  • Problems of mouse after the conversion of a hard drive file virtual Microsoft Virtual Server 2005 for ESXi 3.5

Today I used VMWare Converter 3.0.3 to convert a file evaluation VHD Windows 2003 Enterprise Edition SP2 (Virtual Server 2005) ESXi 3.5. It seems to work without error. However, I have a pending issue. In other words, based on the results of pilot of "VMware Pointing Device" in my being rooted at the bottom right of the Virtual Console of the mouse. The mouse buttons seem to work, but the mouse itself will not move. I have VMware Tools installed and that you have reinstalled them several times, just in case. If I change the mouse driver to the driver "mouse Compatible PS/2", it works, sort of. It moves around the screen and the same slides perfectly in and out of the console window, as you'd like. However, it is jerky. Hardware acceleration is maximum. The video driver and all the other features seem to work perfectly.

I converted a Windows 2008 VHD and it worked well.

A very similar discussion was due in a previous thread several years ago http://communities.vmware.com/thread/36507.

Any help to fix this annoying bug would be appreciated.

    Thanks in advance

Normally uninstall us the services that we believe may conflict with VMware devices (such as mouse), so that these problems do not occur. But just to be sure, it would be nice if you could 'uninstall' as suggested CONTINIUM and see if that makes a difference. An only problem here, is that you will not be able to uninstall the present of the VMware VM and you may need to uninstall this VS VM before proceeding with the conversion.

  • I need some opinions on the conversion of doc and xls to pdf and jpg

    Hi all

I'm working on a Java project (so all MS api or .net can not used) where we need to convert MS Office 2003 (first doc but also XLL if possible) files to pdf and jpg. Would be nice to convert txt as well as to fix the indexing research.

Do you have previous experience in the conversion of doc (word files) to PDF?
Searching the Internet I find a lot of links to this Web site dancrintea.ro/doc-to-pdf/, which apparently has a solution for all doc, xls, ppt.

While waiting for a response on this solution, it would be useful that you can share your experience:
-did you do in a Java project
-What did you use and how it works

Never the less important are the costs of the solution because we have to distribute my project to more customers.
so I need something with a balance between costs and results - I want to say can not invest in an expensive solution for doc/xls to pdf format.

Thank you for your sharing information.

    The answer to that is:
It's hard. Very hard. There are few native Java solutions, your options are:

    (1) convince you the basic user who. Sucks DOC and RTF's The Way.
    2) Open Office script (or office). Open Office has an API that can do what you want
    (3) look at the alternative outside and everything, but as a general rule, they are reading rather than rendered data.

Cool the OO API has even an example of file conversion.

  • Can anyone advise me on the conversion and submitting CMYK for the first time?   (In a language that is slow and easy to please)

There is more discussion on this subject (and opinions) that Carter has pills and I have read many of them... but I'm still confused and since I was less than 7 hours to solve this problem, I'm crying out for more help.

1... I know that I need more to learn about this... but that does nothing my period

2nd... This is a simple corporate Head-shot that is produced in a print magazine with an article written by my client.

3rd... The Publisher asked for the photo to be in CMYK mode and since this editor is in the USA, my assumption at this late date is that the standard CMYK color profile - U.S. Web Coated (SWOP) v2 produced by Photoshop is enough.

I can be on the right track now, but I'm completely side stepping of Lightroom for all editing and staying in Photoshop in Adobe RGB (1998)

At this time, when I click on view and choose a PROOF, CMYK is selected.  I don't know if it's accurate, or if the selection is premature.

I plan to complete my edits in PS and then click on IMAGE, click MODE and choose CMYK.           Currently, for my editing process, it is set to RGB

Hopefully save them as CMYK will be available after changing the MODE, but my save as feature currently available, available only ADOBE RGB (1998).  Also save a copy and a box to include diapers or not.

Yesterday, when working on this folder, I clicked on the EVIDENCE and CMYK, but I didn't see any difference in the editing...  It maybe because I exported a ProPhoto since Lightroom file as a basis to begin by... I'm not sure, though.

My concern is as follows... yesterday, I have saved in a CMYK file and it looked fine on my monitor.  I sent it to the customer (I chose the JPG extension) and when she had, the colors were OFF.  She sent the files back to me, and they were indeed average off...  He told me that it was not a matter of calibration of monitor between his PC and mine.   Which brings me to the last question... my monitor is calibrated "to eye" to a company of printer that I use for my regular photography - which worked great!    And unfortunately, at this late date, I can't get a profile of the printer of the editor.

Thanks for reading all of this... I wonder if my current game plan is sufficient for this late hour...

    No Lightroom

Edit in Photoshop in ADOBE RGB (1998)

Keep selection 'PROOF' in CMYK, so that I have change

At the end of my edit, click MODE and change to CMYK

Save the file with CMYK to jpg.   (all other types of files are too big for the customer to manage e-mail)

    Am I missing something?

There are a number of potential problems here, and it may not be at your end.

First of all, it should be clear that CMYK is not so much a generic "image mode" because it is a description of the specific press conditions. If you produce final CMYK, you need to have the right profile. Do not use Image > Mode, use Convert to Profile.

Given that, I wonder anyone who does not accept the Adobe RGB photographs for a magazine article, because it involves a process that doesn't is not correctly color generally not up to date and not managed. A typical workflow would today use InDesign, where images are usually placed in their original space of RGB whatever that is. Then the final conversion output CMYK is made as the last step, when you generate a ready PDF to InDesign.

It helps if you know the final CMYK, because then you can the evidence for that so your file survives the CMYK conversion with the least possible damage (we're talking range cut here, not general color moves). But it is not absolutely necessary, that is why this workflow is relaitively safe.

Thirdly, CMYK jpeg is itself risky, because several decoders of jpeg (in some software) is not a proper CMYK support. The result can be weird colors. This could well be the problem here, because it sounds as if your customer uses a non-standard workflow.

So what to do? I would send two files. A sRGB as a reference, which is guaranteed to come out correctly. Then find a way to send TIFF to CMYK version if they insist, or ask them to try to open it in different software. Of course , you should have a calibrated and profiled monitor, but I agree this is probably not the immediate problem here. There is no particular reason that a CMYK file should return to the colors twisted if he opened and processed in color management software correctly.

  • profile conversion makes Black 4 colors?

Hi, I'm using InDesign CS5.5 and producing material for printing. The printers we use, we work very closely with. They use the profile Coated FOGRA39 (ISO-12649-2: 2004) for their press. Material that I made for them in the past that using as a profile name intention out during the creation of the PDF as worked well. However, when I asked to convert to profile, using the same profile, it converts black (key) in four colors. When its print this can create a light blur and is obviously a waste of ink as well. Any thoughts on why he does this?

ID very certainly should not be the conversion of 100 %K in a mixture of 4 colors unless there is a change in the profile. You see the change in your PDF, or only at the exit of the printer? If you see in your PDF using the Acrobat release preview, the problem is somewhere in what you do, otherwise the printer is the addition of a new conversion and you have to find what it is.

If you see the conversion in the PDF file, you must go back and make sure that the color space is really correct ID in the file (Edit > ASSIGN profile [to be attributed, not to convert, or you'll do fills in this operation]) or in the export settings (convert to profile (preserve numbers)). If the profile is correct in the ID, you should be able to output to be with colors unchanged (if there is no RGB or other out content profile) or either convert it to profile options, perserving or retaining not numbers and your native objects will not change.
