  Hi gurus,
  I have a requirement where I need to organize the reports that are on the dashboard as a link. For example, I have 3 reports like this.
  
  The report of sales invoice report purchase order.
  
  Now I want to organize these 3 reports on the dashboard links
  
  Sales report
  The invoice report
  Purchase order status
  
  Let's say when the user click the sales link report it should show the full report with the guests. Is it possible to do in dashboards. Help, please.

  If you want reports such as link in the dashboard, then drag the report to the dashboard and go to his peroperties. Select the link in the dashboard option. You can add all the reports dashboard and choose this option. This will make the reports appear as links.

  If you select any value command prompt and click on the go button pushing values apply as filters to these reports.

• Download option on the dashboard report

  I have a report saved in OBIEE under dashboards. If I open the report in the responses, I have the option to download at the end of the screen, and I can upload it to Excel. When I opened the same dashboard report, I am not able to. Is it possible for me to download the report from dashboards.

  Ah ok... Now I see where your problems.
  You encounter a link and a link you can not have the download option.
  The only way you can achieve it is:

  Remove the link.
  Drag the report rather than the link.
  Go to the properties of this report.
  Select the display of the results.
  Chosse is a link in the table of edge/link in a new window.
  Now, select the link for the report and select the download option. Save your dashboard and see the download now button.

• How to view the zero in the dashboard reports when there is no data in the database?

  I'm generation of trend analysis report
  
  in which I not show. so each month on a site web, I have all the data for a given month July (because there is no success during the previous month), report is generated with all months except JULY.
  
  Is their any way to view the zero with the name of the month when there is no data (unsuccessfully) in the database?

• OBIEE 11 g: need to eliminate whitespace betweeen two reports on the dashboard

  I created Report1 and I2. The reports contain only one pivot view (there is no title to view). On the dashboard, report 2 just under 1 report so that there is no space between them as

  I put the report in a section on the dashboard, but still get some white space between the two. What I did is, in the pivot for the reports table properties, I put 0px for the top and bottom filling. That reduced the space a little bit, but I can still see a lot of white space
  
  Is it possible to completely eliminate the white space. Y at - it a java script that could be used if this is not possible in obiee? Please let me know.

  In a layout composed to click table Pivot on an icon-> put Options in the additional form-> set Top and Bottom Padding 0px

  I created a report with an analysis of the BI and excel files in BI 11g publisher. This is report parameter. All the parameters declared in the data model. Now everything works well next to BI Publisher. Now, I have to add this report to the dashboard. When I added report to the dashboard that I didn't see the settings I stated in the data model. Can someone help me how to view the settings for edge and run my report editor of BI.

  If the reports of the PIF are based on query answers then the query responses should have is invited to accept these fields.that will be in charge of the report also BEEP otherwise if theres another source for report BEEP then check that the names are the same for the pormpts in both approx.

• Capacity issues - information planning does not appear in the dashboard / rims reports

  Hi all

  I'm still getting my head around time involved with the collection of data for projects.

  I had a data manager, collection of information on approximately 200 systems in 2-3 weeks, still in the dashboard I don't see any information I want to learn.

  If you look at the attached screenshots, you will see for the dashboard of the company, I have a 190 systems all in my a project for this company. Among them, only 2 have started to show that they have inventory. In data manager himself most systems already have some inventory information, but this has not filtered through the dashboard yet, apart from these two you see here.

  In my summary inventory systems capture screen you can see a lot of systems that display zeros in all of the inventory. In data manager if I find the system data, I can see his stats for most servers on all sections.

  So I have two questions:

  • Should I worry that this info does not yet show after 2-3 weeks?
    
  • How could I go to take 3 systems in this collection and the pulling of data using custom reports? I created a separate project for these three systems, added to them, they have 2-3 weeks of data collection already, but when I run my custom reports on these systems a lot of data is empty and does not appear do not, even if these three systems have all data and performance data I need when I view on the data Manager server.

  Here's the thing... If you add systems to the collector and then create a data sync before the first inventory collection... you ship a bunch of zeroes on the scoreboard.

  the collector will not send new data after the first synchronization, unless you use the full export option.

  I put a pivot table report on dashboboard, when I check discovers that made available it givs me only the title and the position I have check the PivotTable, it gives my pivot.

  On the dashboard, click on Options > modify the dashboard

  Then, add another copy of the dashboard object that you used for your PivotTable.

  Drag it over the existing PivotTable object and select Properties > Show View > title

  Make sure you have in fact the title of your choice in your application see / Compound layout.

• Cannot access the direct application of database reports in the dashboard

  I added a new user to the DPR OBIEE. When I tried to access a report created using direct, database application in the dashboard sound up the following error:
  
  State: HY000. Code: 10058. [NQODBC] [SQL_STATE: HY000] [nQSError: 10058] A general error occurred. [nQSError: 13017] User or group did not Direct database access privilege to access the database "Oracle Data Warehouse". Please check the permissions of a user/group in the Administration Oracle BI tool. (HY000)
  
  (1) the newly created user belongs to any group.
  
  ' (2) in Presentation Services-> settings-> Administration-> manage privileges ' gave the permission of * "Perform direct database requests" * also.

  Hi Lona,

  Open, click OBIEE administration tool to manage-> Security-> user.
  Double-click the user who must have the permission of direct execution of the database application. In the drop-down list, select 'allow '. Hope this will solve your problem.

• Unable to show BIPub report in the dashboard by Non-administrative users

  I've created a report BI Publisher and even added to the dashboard, I can see it as administrator but unable to see as all other users.
  
  I have updated the privileges in BI presentation services and gave permission to anyone to BI Publisher:
  
  
  Oracle BI Publisher Enterprise
  Add reports to the dashboard - everyone BI Publisher
  View the BI Publisher - all reports
  Plan the BI Publisher - all reports
  Send the BI Publisher - all reports
  Create reports to BI Publisher - all
  Analyze the BI Publisher - all reports
  
  but users still get the below error:
  The error message is:
  "Unauthorised access: please contact the administrator '.

• Dashboard report of the Commission, which gives a line empty?

  When you run a dashboard report, I don't want to see the report until I have something in the prompt. To do this, I tried the following steps, but it still works a blank report with a blank line.
  
  1. for my first guest I have to 'default' as a "Specific value" and gave a value that isn't in the database, in other words if I run the query on SQL Developer, it will give me no line.
  2. my dashboard has two sections, section 1 contains the guests. In Section 2, in properties, I have been guided Navigation and selected, 'Reference Source application' Yes. Request for source I am that it points to the location. See, I have chosen "If query returns lines."
  
  BUT this does not work, I still get a blank line. What I lack, or is there another way to address the issue. Thanks for the help.

  Add three columns, by using the IFNULL function on each column.

• Reports of the dashboard will not align left

  I'm moving my left - dashboard reports my reports always alignment Center. I tried using the Properties section cell and cell of column properties and css styles. and I try to change the alignment of left pivot table report.
  The closest I can get is to change the width of my report at least on the page. The report then concentrates in this width. The problem with this workaround is that individual cells in the report can now be forced to take two lines if they together table are superior to any report width, I put

  I think the align = center attribute is hard coded by Analytics
  By changing the section formatting properties of cell horizontal alignment to the left I can move the guest and even the results for the report left No message. The report itself that refuses to budge

  Go to the composed page layout. Click on the button 'A' (at the top right, it is the first of the three icons). Horizontal alignment-click > left. This will align the reports on the left side if you have reports "short width" and "broad" one below...

• Navigate from one report to the other report of dashboard

  Hi all
  I'm doing something like that which we say "Hyper-perceuse in discoverer". I want to display 2 reports in dashboard. The first report shows al results and when I click on the line of column in the first report of the second report must run using the 2 column as a report parameter value. The join between the 2 reports would be that has a single column.
  Any that did something like that or put some light on the realization of this scenario.
  Let me know if further clarity is required on this issue.

  I want to insert a link in a report to open a dashboard.
  I thought to include a chapter on the description with a reference.

  I think that report responses, we are unable to give the link directly to the dashboard. We can give in a dashboard, which has already been given by someone. We like from one report to the other using the interaction of the column and the interaction of value based on the requirement.
