the difference between photoshop and illustrator effects?

In the menu effects cs5, what is the difference between photoshop and illustrator effects? When you use the those Photoshop?

Thank you.

The effects of Photoshop are copies of similar effects from Photoshop. Therefore, they cannot be applied to the art of raster, such as modified in Photoshop. When you apply a Photoshop Illustrator art effect that you apply it is pixelated in the background and the effect is applied to the art raster version. If you expand the appearance of anything with a Photoshop top effect it will be pixelated. Other effects to retain all or part of the vector art. When you expand the effect or save a PDF file at least some of the original will vector art remain as vectors, although some effects (drop shadow, blur, feather, inner glow, etc.) to add pixelated art to the file.

Pixelization is not harmful, because the original vector, type or other objects remain fully editable. If you remove the effect the pixelation disappears. There is no dialogue for the resolution of the effect rasterization; you define which in effect > Document pixelation effect parameters.

The best guess around here is that there are several things that have been deprecated (deleted in the new version) and Adobe didn't want to suddenly be without them.

For example, thing the filter oil painting has been abandoned, and former extension of Flash-based panels does not.

  • Differences between Photoshop and Illustrator pixel files

    Hello everyone.

I've always wondered why this happens: if I create a file in Photoshop to, say 1080 x 1080 pixels (at 300 dpi) and then import it into a work plan Illustrator with the same dimensions, it is much smaller.

    B.

    Illustrator respects the DPI setting.

Photoshop displays work for the resolution of the monitor (1 pixel of the image is 1 pixel of screen when we zoom 100%)

  • What is the difference between Photoshop Elements 13 Photoshop 6 of Lightroom and Photoshop CC?

What is the difference between Photoshop Elements, Photoshop Lightroom, Lightroom and Photoshop CC?  I just bought Photoshop Lightroom (6) and low and here is Photoshop doesn't do not part of the package, which costs another $70.  I feel ripped off the coast and now will have a moment same difficult figuring out that I should have bought the package.

Photoshop is the large capacity, editor of pixels that makes diapers and plug-ins; ideal for graphic designers, used by many photographers.

Photoshop Elements is a more basic version of Photoshop; often be everything as photographers really need Photoshop.

Lightroom is a Digital Asset Manager that lists your images and enjoys a good 'image' in her Editor. The catalogue allows the non-destructive editing of your images. Often does 95% of everything which has need of a photographer.

"Photoshop Lightroom" is the official name of Lightroom;  a bad choice by Adobe that confuses people.

For $10 / month, the "photographer" Lightroom + Photoshop bundle is difficult to beat. Subscribe to bundle licenses you the two programs, each to be downloaded and installed separately.

Any 'CC' appended to the name is something marketing allowing the software to talk to some of the web servers of Adobe to activate features. All software are still installed on your hard drive; all your images are always stored on your hard drive.

  • What is the difference between Photoshop CS6 [Legacy Version]($410) and Photoshop CS6 ($699)

What is the difference between Photoshop CS6 [Legacy Version]($410) and Photoshop CS6 ($699)

"Drop the support for WinXP" does not mean "Will not work on Windows XP."  It simply means that Adobe will not help you if you have a problem.

I think that the reference to the 'legacy' version relies on the fact that CS6 is the latest version of "permanently licensed" until the CC model came into force.  Both ads are referred to this version, using different terminology.  There are actually two versions of PSCS6.  One is permanently licensed version, and is the version provided to customers who subscribe to CC, who got a few additional improvements over the version permanently licensed before being supplanted by PSCC.  But the version of PSCS6 within the CC is not available as a stand-alone product.

  • What is the difference between Photoshop CS5 and Photoshop CS5 Extended?

    Hey,.

What is the difference between Photoshop CS5 and Photoshop CS5 Extended?

Also, why are there no other product from Adobe that don't are not 'extended', why just Photoshop?

    Thank you

    Hatton

It's all about marketing and money.  You can be extended or not, depending on what are the features that you need.  I personally don't have extended, just Standard and it's quite capable in itself that I need.  The two editions have 32 and 64 bit variants (if you have a 64 bit OS).

Adobe says only Extended offers "...". breakthrough tools for creating and editing 3D content and lively.

This page, in a few more clicks, will tell you more on the differences:

    http://www.Adobe.com/products/Photoshop/compare/

A good approach, if you have the monitor space, is to put the who's new pages for Standard and Extended place side by side in two browser windows and search for differences.

  • What is the difference between AXIEM and EMSIght? What are the benefits of AXIEM by EMSight if any?

I wonder what are the differences between AXIEM and EMSight. Are associated with application? One is better than the other? Please explain.

AWR estimated AXIEM most powerful plan EM Simulator around.   AXIEM is at the center of continuous research and improvement, while EMSight is only worked on if revealed serious flaws.  Here is a summary of the differences:

    Mesh

    • EMSight must mesh the nearest grid drivers using rectangles.  This causes the mesh to have more elements mesh when there are small and large geometries.  The grid should be small enough to capture the small geometry but then causes large geometries to mesh more.   In addition, angled or curved structures causes inefficiencies mesh.

    • AXIEM STS forms, rather than a grid.  In addition, the mesh can be rectangle or triangle.   This allows a much more efficient mesh.   AXIEM generally have a much more efficient

    • AXIEM contains the ability to process forms to clean geometries that cause inefficiencies of the mesh.  EMSight does not have this feature.

    • AXIEM can forms thick metal mesh, EMSight can not, and user must make approximations when thick metal will change coupling (loss is recorded properly with the thickness of the metal)

    Ports

    • The ports are for the most part similar, but parasites due on AXIEM ports are less.  In addition, the AXIEM has a side wall, thus the effects of not move of the terms of reference of the edge of the line are a lot less AXIEM in.

    • Ports can be added to most any place in geometry with AXIEM.  For EMSight, the ports are usually only added outside the geometry and have limitations to the aircraft on either side of the reference speaker.

    Problem solvers

    • EMSight does not have a low frequency Solver.  Stop low-frequency and then extrapolate to DC.  This usually works well, but you must take into account if the extrapolation is accurate.  AXIEM presents both a low and high frequency Solver so will do better in a low frequencies generally much better in DC.

    • Solver of EMSight scales O (n) ^ 2 for memory and O (n) ^ 3 for the moment.   It has a special algorithm to break the question of memory, but the question of time is the killer.  AXIEM has a direct Solver which scales in the same way and an iterative Solver which will scale O (nlogn).   In other words, AXIEM can solve a lot of bigger problems than EMSight.

    • Several AXIEM processes are multithreaded as EMSight.

    Speaker

    • EMSight is inside a perfect driver side wall.   This works well if you the circuit is in the same cavity.  If not, you must know the rules of them on to the forms of space of the flanks and how that much to extend the port could reference planes.   AXIEM is not here.   AXIEM does not currently have to simulate a perfect driver side wall.

I don't know that I missed a few aspects of the tools.   From the point of view of the AWR that AXIEM is the tool of choice, except in a few cases have been EMSight may be required.

  • What is the difference between Bridge and Lightroom?  Should I have them both?

What is the difference between Bridge and Lightroom?  Should I have them both?

    Hi MyYawrood,

If you plan to expand your files only camera raw, then no, you don't need both. Camera Raw, which bridge lance when you select a raw in Bridge file has the same characteristics as Lightroom.

That's where the similarity ends, however. Bridge is a file browser. You can organize and view the files on your hard drives connected. Bridge knows nothing about files that are not connected. Bridge can preview more Adobe files, regardless of the type of file and is a 'bridge' between applications. It will show also the icons for other types of files created in any application. Lightroom creates a database of a few image formats and knows about them, even if the disk they are on is in offline mode. It cannot handle most types of file formats, however. Lightroom has a robust for print production and publication Center. Bridge doesn't. Lightroom also has Mobile of Lightroom to make some fundamental changes to the photos on your phone or tablet. Bridge doesn't.

So if you need both depends on what you do on your computer. I absolutely use Bridge / Camera Raw/Photoshop and Lightroom/Lightroom Mobile.

What is the difference between Photoshop CS6 and elements?

    vitaltheatre wrote:

Photoshop Elements is NOT the same thing in Photoshop CS6.  Photoshop 6 is passed into the creative cloud (CC)

No, there are many versions of Photoshop, older versions don't fade. Photoshop is a program that evolves every evolution Gets a new name and a version number the version number is important when you develop code for Photoshop. If Photoshop 6 is version 6 which evolved to Photoshop 7 version 7 cs version 8 to version 9 of CS2 to CS3 version 10 to version CS4 11 CS 5 version 12-CS6 13 CC version 14-15 version CC2014 version. All this exists.  Version 15 is not backward compatible with any previous version of Photoshop functionality and support have been deleted and new features and added support.

CS6 however is a little weird for are different versions of the CS6 is the perpetual version and versions of the subscription and there, not the same thing not everyone has the same characteristics.  If you want to split hairs there are actually 5 cs6 version and if you want to count 32-bit and 64-bit modules there are 8.  There are only 3 version numbers but for CS6 wit all updates applied.  Mac version perpetual 13.0.6 perpetual version 13.0.1.3 Windows and Mac and PC version 13.1.2 subscription.  The perpetual versions can be standard or extended Photoshop wher the subscription version is Photoshop extended.

Similarly, there are several version of Photoshop Elements.  All versions of the item not a lot of features that Photoshop in general.  Its much cheaper and it has a lot less function then Photoshop.  For many elements has all of the features they want.  It is unless we learn and element has some hand holding the built-in feature for the novice user, which is something that Photoshop does not...

  • What is the difference between extensions and Plugins and Add-ons?

I'm sorry if here is not the right place for this post.

What is the difference between extensions and Plugins and Add-ons? Apparantely, they differ in some sense or aspect, but I do not know how. Please, if it is not too complicated, explain in detail and simple language. Thanks in advance to 1 million.

    Kind regards

    Hi Danesh,

You should take a look at this article for an explanation. Plugins and extensions are essentially types of Add-ons as well as of the characters and themes.

    Hope this helps!
