The duplicate files that appear in the Explorer window

I am writing a custom plug-in for a CMS.  I have a problem opening the files in Windows Explorer where each child record is listed twice.  However, every child is a folder is listed only once. This happens for any folder in the CMS.

View the logs files to my plugin, it seems that Windows lists the contents of all folders, then it can show the hierarchy in the navigation pane.  Then when I click on a folder, it re - lists the contents of this folder.  I believe that it is this second call to the GetChildrenHandler which is originally in car show files duplicate since if I turn off the navigation pane and to clear the disk cache, only one instance of each file appears.  Note: I never get more than 2 bodies even if I re - view folders on a newer.

I based my GetChildrenHandler after the GetChildrenHandler sample.basicftp.  However, I use 16-byte hexadecimal idenitifiers as asset ID instead of paths. I have in my plug-in intensive logging and that you have verified that when I create the recipe update of the file, the active code, active path, parent ID and active are all identical.

Any help would be appreciated.

Rich

I thought about it.  I'm assigning a version 0 for the first version of each asset.  When I started the version numbering at 1, this problem has been resolved.

    Hello

You have your computer connected to a network or domain?

Step 1: You can check if the problem persists in safe mode with networking and send back the same. This is perhaps due to some programs running in the background.
    Reference: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/315222

Step 2: Alternatively, you can try to perform the clean boot your computer.

  • BSOD and the only file that appears is ntkrnlpa.exe when you play Metal Gear Rising

So it's a bit complicated to explain especially because I downloaded Bluescreenview and the only file that appears is ntkrnlpa.exe and happens when I play Metal Gear Rising statement, which is a CPU intensive game, I thought it was because it was overheating and/or die but I downloaded Core Temp to monitor if my fan work and the max temp it reached is 65 degrees celsius so I can't find the problem, it happens randomly, once I could play 2 hours withouth a BSOD and the following 5 minutes, I also tried to reinstall but nothing happened, I only overclock my Gpu, my cpu is a pretty old 1.8 ghz dual core but it can still run any game well enough, I also tried the option veryfier.exe which led to my computer crash at startup , so I had to disable using safe mode, and it was down deamon tools, is my failing processor or windows give up and I need to reinstall?

Thanks for the help, the game does not cause me a BSOD since I've updated PCI sound card drivers which I didn't at first because the site is in a mixture of Japanese and really bad English.

  • MRT.exe is a new file that appeared on my hard drive

MRT.exe is a new file that appeared on my hard drive this week, occupying more than 53 000 KB. Is it safe? (the source file is mrtstub.exe)

Anti - this is the one-time execution of Microsoft for their security scanner, which is updated monthly and is managed by Windows updates current.

It is designed to attack and remove some specific malicious software which is known to cause serious problems on the internet (for the most part, worms and Trojan horses).

If you want o, you can remove it, but don't be surprised when it reappears the next time that you run a batch of updates (especially if you have set to automatic WU)

Why I can't move or delete files that have been used by Windows Movie Maker? How to make them free again, now that I want to use the new computer.

When you create a project in Movie Maker-.mswmm file... it
records the path to the source (photos, videos, music) files...
If you re-open the file .mswmm to re - edit source files...
are not accessible if they have been moved or deleted.

If "no" re - edit project .mswmm files...
moving or deleting the source files is not a problem.

If you 'are' the intention of re - edit .mswmm files but need the
source files also... just make copies and let it
    original where they are.

  • Open dialog box reorganizes the files that appear in the file text box

I asked about this problem for a while - it still exists under Windows 7 Microsoft apparent feels that it is the correct behavior. In an application using a dialog open, where multiple files can be selected by clicking on them, while the CTRL key is held down, the resulting list of file names appears in the file text box. However, the first clicked file name remains last in the list while others remain in the proper order. Why is this? (An example of application is Windows Media Player, where you do a right click, then click on file and then open. The open dialog box appears and allows the selection of multiple files). When this "feature" has been more boring, it's when I try to create a CD or DVD and I want to control the order of the files.

    Hello RickL - CaryNC, welcome.

This feature is by design. Of course, you can select the files in reverse order. I would really recommend providing feedback about this here:
    http://connect.Microsoft.com/

Other than that, unless you use an alternative shell, the feature is a design problem. Ryan Thieman

I don't know why it happened, but as you say, there is probably something at the start.

Next time that Windows Explorer opens, navigate to C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Menu Démarrer\Programmes\Démarrage.  If the folder contains a shortcut to explorer.exe, delete the shortcut.

Browse to C:\Documents and Settings\ [your user account] \Start - and repeat the process.

If there are no shortcuts for explorer.exe in one of these startup folders, close Windows Explorer.

Then, click on start / run... and type msconfig in the open: field.
    Click OK.
Open the Startup tab and look for to explore or Windows Explorer. If it is there, please take note of the registry entry that calls the Windows Explorer - and the details of the quote in your reply.

  • How to change the width of key column when you view files in the Explorer window?

Can someone help me with this one major annoyance I have with Vista?

I opened an Explorer window and I want to resize the first column, so I can see the full file name.  (First I accidentally spend whole column name because I can't seem to find my mouse to keep the resizing grabber.)   Now that I have the desired column width, is it possible to make the column width by default for all future Explorer Windows I open?   I've grown very tired of having to resize this column whenever I open an Explorer window.

  • Mac question? -Duplicate file names appear once I have copy on mp3s

It seems that although the Compatible Mac box, it was a stretch far from easy to use or Setup for a non techno.

I figured out how to import a CD on ITunes and convert it to an mp3. Then copy it to the "rocket".

But my problem is when I copy a song or an entire album, when I turn on the "rocket", it shows duplicate songs and duplicates are in the Unreconizable folder and do not work.

This can become very confusing. Anyone has any ideas on how to import MP3s on a mac without getting these ghosts / duplicate files?

If I can't understand, I guess I'll try to return it and get an IPod. No use to me like that.

Help, please. I want to keep that player.

Your problem is that you used the Finder to copy files to the player.  Who creates the files 'duplicate' which are really containing of Finder metadata files.  They lead the players nuts.

I wrote a web page describing this problem and how to get an MP3 as the "rocket" to work with the Mac.  See http://guyscharf.wordpress.com/mp3-on-macintosh/ for more details.

  • How can I disable the FULL ROW selection in the Explorer (WINDOWS 7)

Open TWO windows explorers.  One of them has a bunch of EXE inside (say the right one)

Drag a file from left to right on the right, because I want to move the file there.

IT HIGHLIGHTS ANY EXE I HOVER OVER AND THEN TRY TO OPEN WITH THE FILE I DRAGGED.  I CAN'T MOVE IT SIMPLY.

Try again with 'right click' the only option you get is 'open with '.

All I want to do is move a file. An EXE file in a folder with a bunch of other s EXE which are common.

Why is the SIMPLEST, a BASIC operation simply MOVE FILE a, suddenly not able to accomplish because of this 'new '?

Who, moreover, has worked well for DECADES in the version PREVIOUS of EACH?

    -Scott Weber

(User annoyed by the complete rearrangement and re structuring of each new version)

Well Yes, I know exactly what you mean: there is no 'empty space' to drop the file in. No matter where you drop is in fact fall on one of these files (exe in your case) and trying to open with it.

And you have not seen the worst: somehow, people being able to do that and associate permanently the file moved with the drop target, break their ability to open this file by double clicking on because he tries 'open with' the wrong thing.  And then what happens with a file EXE and you can even run a repair program to fix, because your EXE associations are bad.

    ---

In any case, I share your pain.  The best advice I can give is to "fall" on the title bar of the Explorer 2nd folder. Then, it will actually in the folder and not into another file.

I was looking at my files on my hard drive and I see the files with the numbers a3b5ffe81a909ff320d7e2b6 and d9280c03c71d5fb41cd5.  Are these viruses or something that Windows come with?

    Hi Calvin,

Thanks for posting your query in the Microsoft community!

To be able to understand the question in a better way than to provide you with the exact resolution, I would like to know exactly the problem you are experiencing.

    (1) exactly where you see these files?

As a precaution I suggest you perform a virus on your computer scan by clicking on the link below:
    http://www.Microsoft.com/security/scanner/en-us/default.aspx

Note: The data files that are infected must be cleaned only by removing the file completely, which means that there is a risk of data loss.

Please answer us with more information to help you solve the problem as soon as possible.
