• Crash with the image with the evil tiff tag type

  I have a small application that uses the XMP sdk to read metadata. We had a problem with break which proved because of a tiff tag bad value entry type IFD that was out of the acceptable range of 1-12 (actually a jpg image). This led to intermittent crashing to the TIFF_MemoryReader::GetTag because kTIFF_TypeSizes method [thisTag-> type] would find a random value of memory outside the enum. If it was zero, a division by zero would occur when the info-> count is calculated. If this does not work, then an assertion would catch it (in debug mode) in the ImportTIFF_CheckStandardMapping method in ReconcileTIFF.cpp.

  I just added a label control in TIFF_MemoryReader::GetTag that seems to work OK. I was wondering if this is the best solution, or if a change should be made in the sdk. I don't know that this type of bad image is not common. I can make the image available if it would help.

  Our next SDK release will have a range check added to TIFF_MemoryReader::GetTag to make it more robust for these bad files.

  Once you choose Insert > HTML > Viewport, you're basically done.

  You should see appear in thesection of your page. It's the Meta Viewport, you need to make your site is displayed correctly in the phones.

  Satellite M500 doesn t seem to be a European model so I put t know exactly how HDD recovery works, but let me give you a little advice: just take your Toshiba recovery disc. This disc contains an image for the factory settings and with these settings, everything should work properly.

  In my opinion if you get the tips to restore factory Toshiba ASP settings, you should do this! ;)

  (I use RoboHelp 9, but also tried to RoboHelp 11 with exactly the same results).

  Our application requires the WebBrowser control to run in IE9 compatibility mode. This means that when launching Help (chm), the Help Viewer will also use IE9 compatibility mode, as it runs in the same process. As Chm files are intended to be read in IE7 compatibility mode, this causes issues with the layout of the help topic.  We found that, to solve this problem, each topic needs the following meta tag in the head element:

• How to add multiple Meta tags?

  I work for one allows large education State to add meta tags to the header to the Dublin Core metadata initiative. In this case, not having not meta tags is not an option.
  
  The metadata must be unique for each page. Using the keywords / Description provided in the menu settings will not work.

  It doesn't look like this is doable in Contribute, so we're going outside a solution.

Then the users return the page with a program of creation of tag Meta called Tag Gen which has the same editable according to its preferences area. They can add the necessary tags save and close the page without ever dealing with the code of the page. Then, they'll be back to post the page in Contribute.

  It's kind of a lot of Mickey Mouse, but it's the only solution we could find.

• Viewport meta tag has stopped working

  I created a site of muse and included the viewport meta tag - < name meta = "viewport" content = "width = device-width' > in the header." For the first week and a half, it worked perfectly, and then last night, it stopped working. Does anyone have any idea why this might be and how to fix it?

  Muse creates this meta tag. Custom meta tag is therefore double that led to conflicts. Delete it.

  

• Reproduce a Web site, but changes in the dup site meta tags original changes... Pls help!

  I have a website that I built in cs4 and wanted to reproduce the site, change index.htm title, description and meta tags, save it as a separate site and to sepatate IP address. I duplicated the grace site to manage websites, renamed the site duplicated, made sure the new appropriate site was opened and made the changes directly in the code. It has changed and saved correctly in the new duplicate site. I've changed the info to download different IP for the new site of dup and it worked fantastic. I came back to my original site in Dreamweaver to see that make the changes on the duplicate also site index page changed the title, description and meta on my original site tags.

  It seems to me that I can have duplicated the site in the wrong way, because they are connected somehow. Y at - there a way for me to interrupt or "correct" way for me to go to the site of origin of duplication without the link?

• Do I need to add new meta tag information to all pages if I create a Tablet and phone, Wallpapers site?

  Hi all

  I am creating a website for a client and built an office, the Tablet and mobile site.

  What I am wanting to know is can I add tags meta for only pages office or does need them on the Tablet and mobile sites as well? Is this so include pictures because the same images are repeated on all three site?

  Finally, I have to add Google Analytics to the < head > section, this is only done on the homepage of the site office or should it be added to each page (including the Tablet and mobile)?

  Would be grateful for any info or links.

  I found the answer to this question.

  For meta tags, if you create for office pages meta tags, you can copy and paste this information to the Tablet and mobile sites.

  For the Google Analytics, you can copy the html text tracking to the ' HTML for"in the window of metadata (Page - Page Properties) on your master page (it will sink on the rest of the pages)."
