the exported photos are lighter

Hallo,

I use LR for years, started by 3.

Now I'm starting ro reduce the no of pictures and also the size here.

One way is exporting to a smaller size.

By doing this, I observed that the exported photos are lighter than the developed version!

What can I do to achieve the same quality?

Data settings:

Org photo. has about 12 MB (Nikon NEF RAW of =)

Export to: JPEG, sRGB, quality 100, size 1 MB

No additional parameters

Please enlighten me

Thank you

Edgar

I tried a trial version of lightroom 6 and edited hundreds of photots I need to find the export files are small non-printable, about 600 kbs. So I bought lightroom 6 hoping to save my changes on all the photos. However with my purchase of more than a week, my picture exports are still about 600 kbs. Not printable! I'm signed and registered. Whats happening?

Looks like you have been in the library module and chose with a preset export or export to email. Whatever it is, your Presets 'export' were to reduce the size of the image exported to about 600 k.

In Lightroom, the library module and under the file menu, simply select the Word Export. Who will open another dialog box. GO through each option in this dialog box to choose where you want to export the file, what color space to use, what name to give to each folder, what metadata to include and do not forget to select the export size! I included a few screenshots for your reference.

If you export exactly the same path several times, you can create your own export preset to make this process faster.

  • watermark does not appear on the exported photos

I followed all the instructions and steps to follow for the tattoo and it was working fine and now it does not want to add a watermark to the exported photos

If you zoom in on exports that you thought no watermark, you would discover that nestled very tiny in the left corner of the image was a very likely diminutive watermark. The standard watermark does not work well if the size of your image is too large, it will become absolutely tiny. You can add a copyright sign by placing it in the field of copyright of metadata or by creating a custom watermark (menu Lightroom-> edit watermarks...). This will allow you to create a text watermark which will scale to any size of export. How to type a copyright sign a lot depends on the operating system.

On a Mac it's-g option: on windows you press the ALT key and type '0169"while holding down the alt key.

  • The photos exported photos are 4 KB on PC and cannot be opened.

When I export photos from the Photos on a flash drive that is via the file-> export or by simple drag-and - drop, I am unable to open JPEG files on any other non Mac device. All the photos are great only 4 KB and there is no preview.

Someone knows how to fix this?

MacBook Pro (mid-2014), OS X Yosemite 10.10.3 and Photos 1.0.

Thank you very much and Merry Christmas to you all,.

Select the photos you want in Photos and export (File menu ==> export) in a folder on the desktop - drag the folder from the desktop to the flash drive and you will have photos of size you choose - if you still have problems to open on the PC you need software to strip the link resources

  • [random bug] A few exported photos are incomplete (white strip at the bottom)

In pictures, when I select a bunch of photos and go to file > export > photos X export, sometimes I get incomplete files in the batch, which means that when I open it there is a band of white of various height inside, instead of the lower part of the image...

    Any clue about this bug?

It is not a "bug" - it's something with your system - as you can see your post is the only one on this problem - bugs affect many people

What happens if you simply export a photo "problem"?  What else can you tell us about this - original JPEG or RAW? source of photos? all other specific details that make of this different form other?

  • What is the difference between the export photos and pictures of unmodified export

I'm trying to export my library of photos of 30 GB on a hard drive. When you choose file > export gives two options: export the Photos... and export Unmodified Original...

Is there a difference between the two options?

When I export the location data is backed up?

The original unmodified are image files full-size that have been imported into the library at the start.

Export Photos will give you the edited version (if it is edited).  Also, you will have a chance to change the size of the file (Mbs) and/or the image (pixels) size when exporting and to change the JPEG, tiff or png.

  • The exported photos do not appear in the Finder

I just discovered a quirk in the photos that might confuse some users how it confused me for a while.   It seemed to me to export successfully to the photos and videos from the photos app in a folder on my desktop, but they do not. Everything seemed to work. What was wrong?

I used the Terminal command to "show all files" and... that is, they were there exactly where I put them. What happened is that I have selected 'use the title' for the name of the file, but I had deleted all the titles, there is no information. Now I realize that I would have changed my preference finder to show all file extensions, and would have shown the speed to the top with nothing else than the extension:

    .jpg

    .jpg (1)

    .jpg (2)

    .jpg (3)

    etc.

The lesson is, do not delete your pictures titles or if you do, do not export your photos by selecting this option.

WoW!  It's really interesting. Thanks for sharing this!

I tried to reproduce this, and of course, I see the same thing on OS X 10.11.4.  The problem is, that a title erasing does not remove the title but creates a blank title, so that the picture has a title that is invisible.

As a test, import three new photos to multiple:

The first has a title, the other had a title, but deleted, the third party has never had a title.

When I select and export with title use 'as filename', only two photos will be displayed in the Finder.

The problem is, that deleting a title does not remove the title, but adds an empty title. If the photos are exported with the filename ".jpg".

And even make the Finder always show file extensions will not reveal the exported '.jpg' files in the Finder.

As a workaround solution, do not erase the title completely, but use an underscore character, as in the empty title '_' or similar. There needs to be a visible figure, a space is not enough.

  • Put MacBook to date now exported photos are pixelated Lightroom 6

I recently did an update on my macbook and my photos are now pixelated when exporting.

recently did an update - for what-Mac OS or Lightroom?

You have navigated to the bottom to check all your options in the export dialog window? They may have changed.

In particular, 'file settings' quality? and "sizing of the Image. Not resize If you want to keep the original image pixel dimensions.

  • What book format uses the exported photo sort order?

I've sorted in a photo album. I want to use this order even for a book that I've created.  The options in book styles do not seem to honor my sorting system.  Is there a particular format or style should I use? or do I have to count and sort like that?

Or add them and place them in small batches - in the book they are in chronological order - suggest an option to Apple - http://www.apple.com/feedback/photos.html

  • Watermark not appearing is not on the exported Photos

So, I got the picture of fixed size. But, now I can't get the watermark to appear on my exported photos.

Can someone help me here please?

    Thank you, Jesse Williams

When you go (Lightroom - watermark)

You choose the style of watermark: text (for testing)

You choose a font (not important)

Effect of watermark you choose 100% (for test)

You choose a size of the watermark 30 (just to test)

You should now see an example of the watermark on an image. Is this correct?

    Then try an another export.

    kind regard

  • Don't want all the exported photos when developing ONE - (STUPID BEHAVIOR)

It is a default setting very stupid that Lightroom has.

I was working on a group of photos. I went to edit the meta and then synchronize this data to all the photos. Once I'm done with it, I double click on a photo and went into the development of this last. Then I've switched back to library to export and export ALL my photos.

Why the hell would they do this by default?

How can I stop that does not happen? (please don't say go back and deselect all photos, because this behavior has no other product from Adobe)

When you double-click on something, he should solo as he does EACH WHERE OTHER. If you have a picture in development mode and click on export you should only export this 1 photo. It must be something to do if you want to export all. This behavior has cost me an extra 1 HR unravel what I edited and what I didn't.

I don't even know if my changes in development mode has been applied to everything that has been exported.

You had all the photos highlighted so that you could synchronize metadata. A double click on the single image didn't cancel the culmination of all of the other images. When you went in the dialog box export images highlighted have been exported. If you want to undo the highlighting of several images, you must click in the grey border around the image. By clicking on the image itself will bring focus to this image, but will not deselect the other images. The only "flaw" in this regard is that all images that are highlighted will BE exported. You just look a little closer

  • The exported photos has random resolution

    Photos Version 1.5 (370.42.0)

When I export from RAW to JPEG with full-size or custom is always to export images as 20% I expected and the rest with a small resolution. I checked the original size of the raw and all goes well, so some BUG and problem in the process of exporting the Photos app.

If will not be fixed I'll be forced to upgrade to Lightroom or something like that, unfortunately.

Please rephrase your question as it is currently not clear

  • Any movement at all and the G9X photos are blurred in AUTO

Present children shot inside opening in mode AUTO and their hands/arms are blurred with only a small amount of movement. Disappointed because I thought that the car is stupid proof lol. Should I be using a different setting? Help?

Children indoor sun light and mobile. A difficult combo to the Auto setting.  Try setting sport or 'children and pets' If you want to try it on a pre-fab framework. May or may not work.

I would like to put the camera in Tv mode.  TV is (unintuitively) what Nikon and others call "S", because it means "shutter priority". Canon meant Tv suggest "variable time".  You set the shutter speed (variable time) required to stop motion blur. For children just open packaging, I think only 1/250 or 1/320th is enough speed.  Use not TOO fast a shutter speed, because that will force the camera to compensate for the brief exposure of ISO, hiking time each hike in ISO adds ugly digital noise, and it reduces the resolution and detail of the sensor will capture.

I would also to the shooting in RAW rather than JPG.  It will take you to do post-processing to perforate the dull RAW image up to saturation, contrast, etc., as well as to convert RAW to JPG at the end.  It is worth, however, that you can fix a RAW image much more that you can fix a JPG image. You can remove the noise much more RAW, and you can fix everything better, including balance exposure and white.

Watch a few videos free tutorial on Google on the "exposure Triangle".  He explained very simply the key principle of photography, the three variables you manipulate to get correct exposure: shutter speed, Aperture and ISO sensitivity. You can also negotiate one against the other to get artistic results.

    Good luck.

  • All the exported photos to Photoshop Fix get their reduced resolution

    Hi all

All pictures exported from Photoshop Fix get their resolution reduced to 2048 x 1152 (the original was 4240 x 2384). I tried to use photos directly from the cloud (without lightroom), but it's the same question. Soon, I want to export to Photoshop (office) or save to cloud the library, the resolution is reduced. Any tips?

    Thanks for your help

    Jean-yan

Hello! Fix can now open image full resolution instead of images of downsizing to 2048px opening compared to the Creative clouds > Lightroom. You attempted to update your application and checking if the problem persists with the new version?

    Thank you!

  • Why the exported films are letterboxed?

I watch the video clips that I imported into my computer, and they are the same proportions that my screen, it fills when I choose to play in full screen. However, once I put the video in the first and then export it, the video would become Letterbox, as well vertically than horizontally, so that when I play in full screen, the video is smaller and surrounded by a black frame.

Why would he do that? And how can I change so that it stops Letterbox my movies? Any help would be appreciated.

PS I don't really know if this is still considered black bands.

This is usually caused by a mismatch your project settings with your source video or using the incorrect output parameters.

What type of camera did this video come from and how did you in your computer?

What settings you selected when you started your Premiere Elements project?
