The extension manager will show installed applications

therefore can not installed extensions...Untitled-1.jpg

Hello Yaron, Nick and Evan

Have you still some applications CC or CC 2014 Adobe installed on your computer that are not list in the extensions Manager, or have updated all the apps to the CC 2015? Please note that CC 2015 is not supported in the extensions Manager, so if you have improved so this would explain why there are no listed Adobe applications. There is an article here that you can consult for more information on this.

Someone please tell me I'm wrong...

    (1) extensions to CS cannot be installed using the Extension Manager.

    (2) as this screenshot shows, it is possible to disable the installation of the extension manager:

If the extensions manager was made mandatory for CS Extensions, the extension manager installation should be mandatory as well...

Also, is there more than one place where could be installed the extensions Manager (if it is...)?

    Substances,

There is a checkbox in the Export Wizard, when it is checked, the zxp

(file format used by the extensions Manager) will be first decompress the

same directory of export where you select to export zxp.  The extension in

  • The extensions Manager does not recognize products CC 2015 installed on mac

Given that I've updated all my programs adobe to CC (2015)

Extension Manager is no longer their watch programs installed and so cannot use/reinstall first extension

I'm on a MacBook Pro with the latest OS 10.10.4

Creative cloud shows everything is updated but I can't seem to make it work.

The extension manager is not supported for 2015 of CC. Please see this link: Adobe Exchange

Do not use Extension Manager to install and instead use the CC desktop application. There has been a lot of posts on this topic so far, so please check the previous discussions for more information.

  • I can't see the add-on, I have installed via the extension manager in Lightroom

I bought the add-on of the instant Hipster Presets in Adobe Exchange, and I can't make it work.

First, I tried the install method, but it did not download.

Then I used adobe extension manager to install it, and it shows that it is installed and activated, but after restarting Lightroom it still does not show in the presets folder.

I also tried placing directly in the Presets folder, but I could not extract the. File type ZXP on my mac.

The installed. ZXP end in the Lightroom develop presets folder after you have installed the extension manager.

But still after a restart of Lightroom, presets appear not in the predefined development module.

    I use a Macbook Pro 13 retina end 2013.

I was able to get installed it. Has taken some time. Download ZXP file and use the extensions Manager to install. It creates a zip file in the download folder. Here's what trip me the ZIP file has a date of 7-11. So I found it immediately. Once you unzip the zip file, it creates the folder instant Hipster. Right-click and select copy to folder. Then goto Lightroom\Develop Presets\User Presets folder. Way simpler to access goes into Lightroom and select "File preset Lightroom Show", then goto Lightroom\Develop Presets\User Presets folder and paste in the folder. Lightroom is restarted and it will be there.

I love the preset. It's just like using Instagram. I hope this helps.

Hi I am trying to install an extension for Flash, but it will not be displayed in my extensions Manager and will be one of my other programs.

I try to install the image key Caddy Pro extension and it says to go to Windows-> Extensions-> keyframe Caddy, but I couldn't find where it says to install it manually with the extensions Manager.

Here is a picture of my extensions Manager:

If I understand correctly, the 2015 versions don't support the extensions more and each update manager to the new version of the provider, or install them manually. Also, this applies to own or download Adobe extensions from the market!

  • Installation of extensions without the extensions Manager, or a button "install".

I can't install extensions, period.  The extensions Manager cannot me access to the CC and I don't have a button 'install' next to the Add-ons that I bought at the market from Adobe.

Thanks for your help. It turns out that the extensions I had difficulties with require a their original expansion of the company. I had to contact the company for their own extended to the bottom of the charger.  Something Adobe fails to mention when they sell you these extensions.

    Thanks again for your help!

  • How is it that I can't install muse-add-on with the extension manager?

I downloaded the add-on for adobe muse. I couldn't add it via the library panel. In creative cloud, I tried to score "sync files", but for some reason I can't jump allways return to "sync files off. So I tried to add the add-on with the extensions Manager. Here, I get the message: see screenshot. I also wonder why adobe muse is not in the list of extensions Manager products?

    Thanks for help

1 extension Manager does not support Muse.

    2. If the Add on downloaded file is a file ZXP, you must use the latest version of the CC extensions Manager.

  • Photoshop 2015 CC not no projection in the extensions Manager

I've recently updated PS and it is not displayed in the extensions manager more? Any help is appreciated.

    Hi Justin,

If you have signs of expansion Adobe modules, compatible signs will be automatically installed on your system (while sync is activated in the creative cloud desktop application).

If you have signs of extension installed directly by the Extensions Manager, these panels will need to be reinstalled via the original author extension Installer.

  • Adobe Extension Manager CC shows no Apps on OSX 10.7.5 (German)

    Hi all!

I downloaded and installed Adobe Extension Manager version 7.3.2.39.

As far as I know, this is the latest version of the September 25, 2014: downloads updates of Adobe Extension Manager

    It is installed under:

    CC Manager extensions/applications/Adobe /Adobe Extension Manager CC.app

After the application starts, it will not recognize one of my installed applications of CC as:
    InDesign CC v9.3.0

    InDesign CC v10.2.0

    or others.

    What can we do?

    Uwe

    Hello Uwe

A frustrating process for you, we agree! It is not a known issue with InDesign and Manager extensions, so on this issue, that we assume that the next time you restart your computer and open the extensions Manager, there is a good chance that InDesign appears. If this isn't the case, you can use the CC Office application to remove and reinstall InDesign which should encourage the extensions Manager.

It's ok to delete the folder OOBE to install automatically the next time you launch the extension manager. The latest version is 7.3.2.39.

InCopy comes with a list of pre-loaded extensions, but for other applications, they are not preloaded so that this point of view is normal. When you start the installation of Add-ons on the Add-ons site, they list in the extensions Manager.

    Kind regards

  • Shop for fonts and the extensions Manager WHY is it so difficult?

I am trying to install the add-on from the shop to the police. I can not yet do a smart search in the 'Adobe modules'... search can't find the FontShop module even if I type the term a few obvious ways.   YOUR RESEARCH NEEDS SPELL CHECK AND FIND * CLOSING MATCHES. There are SO MANY problems of usability in this forum and in the modules Adobe Adobe it's ridiculous. Basic stuff - usability 101.

But I can directly download the add-on from FonstShop... But it will not install in my Photoshop CC 2015. The problem is 'Adobe Extensions Manager' will not appear Photoshop CC 2015 even if I installed it (via could Creative).

How do you get the extensions Manager recognize Photoshop CC 2015?

The short answer, as Stephanie, is that you don't have. It is obsolete. Check out these resources: Adobe Exchange, specifically this one: Adobe Exchange

  • The extensions Manager does not open .zxp!

Cannot install the extension "Coolors. Please make sure the manifest.xml of this extension is valid and the extension manager recognizes at least a product that supports the extension.

    Any ideas?

The extension manager is no longer officially compatible with CC 2015 or supported applications. However, there is a nifty utility that is worth a try call zxp Installer. You can get it here:

    ZXPInstaller

Hope that helps! Otherwise please try to make sure that you have installed the creative Cloud Desktop application and sync is enabled as this is the best way to install and uninstall modules.
