The field 'description' in iPhoto?

In iPhoto, there is a text field, 'Description '.  A lot of my photographs are documents I use the Description field to transcribe the text. With a previous update the contents of this field that is not automatically reported, but the values could be exported and glued. The News Photos still has the ' Description field; If this isn't the case, I'll have to use another photo management system, or continue until it no longer works with iPhoto.

Photos there the description field in the details pane.

The title, keywords, description, etc. we will roll to the new library of Photos during the migration.

  • How to make the field 'Description' biggest area? (3 to 4 lines in height compared to the present 1 line)

    I'm guessing that in CSS or HTML in the Editor of Landing Page I can do form field seems bigger than just the single line. Ideally, I would like to than the text about 3 to 4 rows height box.

    Please help me solve this problem! Means the simplest would be the best, but I'll take any answer at this stage.

    Thanks Topliners community!

    Figured out that you go to "Custom Fields" then hit paragraph box and replace the HTML name, as well as card in the stages of treatment, in the field "Description". PM me if you want more details and this has been a concern for you as well.

  • Customization of the field description flex

    HI :)

    This time, I have created a form where the user can set account (Flex Descriptive to 15 segments) and other things.

    It is built and works according to Documentation. So when the user chooses the field DB_SEGMENTS_DSP (no point DB) another window opens and he can define each segment separatelly.
    When the user saves the result... concatenated segments are stored in the DB_SEGMENTS column, and each segment is recorded in his column (DB_SEGMENT1, DB_SEGMENT2... According to the definition of Descriptive Flex).
    When the user opens the form, he can see the field of DB_SEGMENTS_DSP which is on the DB_SEGMENTS column and when it open flex window he sees what's on DB_SEGMENT1, DB_SEGMENT2...

    FND_DESCR_FLEX. DEFINE)
    BLOCK = > "CHEATS."
    FIELD = > 'DB_SEGMENTS_DSP ',.
    APPL_SHORT_NAME = > 'XXAK ',.
    DESC_FLEX_NAME = > 'XXAKWB_KODY_KONTO_WN '.
    );

    But the user wants to copy - paste to the field DB_SEGMENTS_DSP account at the moment. So I removed trigger ONCE - fnd_flex.event('WHEN-NEW-ITEM-INSTANCE') NEW - ITEM - INSTANCE under article.

    And here is my problem...

    When I copy - paste all account field DB_SEGMENTS_DSP and flex then open window... There is always old value.

    Even when I record without open flex window... DB_SEGMENTS I have the new value but on DB_SEGMENT1, DB_SEGMENT2... I have the old values.

    What can I do to change this situation?

    When I copy - paste all count to DB_SEGMENTS_DSP I want it too (after save) on the Flex window without opening this window. Is this possible and how?

    I know that you can bind some info request as constraints of value, such as the name of group company, or tenant or the code of the principal applicant, etc..

    Is there a similar way to pass the text of the Description and the reasons?  Or, how the text in these fields would easily get in a script task?

    The answer closest I have is below.  It is available in the workflow, not the user interface designer.

    ASDRequestId = System.getContext () .getParameter ("__asd_catalogRequestId");

    ASDRequest = vCACCAFEEntitiesFinder.getCatalogItemRequest(vRA_CAFEHost,ASDRequestId);

  • Cannot get the text in the field description flex

    Hi all

    I try checking if a field flex text value contains anything or not. IE, this flex field is a mandatory field and I need to check when running.
    But I can't get the text value of the descriptive flex field written by the user at run time.

    OADescriptiveFlexBean oadescriptiveflexbean1 = (OADescriptiveFlexBean) webBean.findIndexedChildRecursive ("PerfRatingFlex");
    If (oadescriptiveflexbean1! = null & & oadescriptiveflexbean1.isRendered ())
    {
    String revision = (String) oadescriptiveflexbean1.getAttributeValue ("ATTRIBUTE12");
    }

    I can't retrieve any value of variable revizeNedeni. I tried a few combinations of such use, and I searched the forum for this problem and I tried these suggestions. But I failed.
    Could someone give me some examples of specific code for this?

    Hello

    PerfRatingFlex9__xc_ is not FDF Id field, your identifier is PerfRatingFlex9, just try it with this, you will get the data

    in the page source view, PerfRatingFlex9__xc_ and PerfRatingFlex9, both displayed against the identification sticker, if you search with "PerfRatingFlex9" you will find the same thing against "id =" tag after the prompt of the FDF field.

    OK, I asked around. You need ensure that the folio is set to the version of 25 for the description field appears in your custom application. I have confirmed that it works using one of our custom internal test viewers.

    It does not show for me in LCA, however. I check to see if that is expected, and if not, I'll open a bug.

    your code is quite a mess, and you probably have a misconception on the listfield.

    in drawListRow you paint directly the object to the line. no need to use fields or similar, graphics methods.

    If you have different objects in your listfield you need to branch in your drawListRow method (if bitmap instanceof object etc.).

    your brief description, it appears you want to have the bitmap in the same line as your other information.

    create a bean with the attributes class, that you need, including the bitmap.

    put objects of beans in your listfield and the data structure (vector).

    drawListRow check that it is a bean and draw it.

    for example (rough code, no control null etc.):

    drawBitmap (0, bean.getBitmap ());

    drawText (bean.getBitmap (.getWidth () + 5,) bean.getText ());

  • Errors and warnings in Event Viewer in the field of applications on a laptop running Windows 7.

    I receive a number of warning and an error message in the event viewer in the field of applications on a laptop running Windows 7.  Is there a way to fix this or fix another way?

    Here are some notes on the event viewer reports that can help you. When you have a lot of mistakes, you need to focus on system errors and warnings, even if it's the applications that are giving you grief. Problems with the first sorting system can do the easier application problems. Note the time that the computer is started last and deal first with those at the beginning of the boot. Correct previous errors can be solved later.

    1. normally, when an error occurs on your computer looking in Event Viewer should be your starting point to find a solution. More related system errors are recorded and get an exact copy of the relevant report is important. Unfortunately, is not easy to understand reports and most of the users computer need help with their interpretation. I have to say later interpretation.

    2 Event Viewer includes four major newspapers in Windows. These are application, security and system with Applications and Service logs as a source more details... For purposes of troubleshooting system is by far the most important.

    3. to access the system log, select Start, Control Panel, administrative tools, Event Viewer, in the list on the left of the window select Windows and the system logs. Place the cursor on the system, right click and select filter current log. Check the front of the error and click OK and see you only reports errors. Click the Date and time column header to sort. You may need to click a second time to see the last report above.

    4. a tip for posting copies of error reports! Run Event Viewer and double-click the error you want to copy. Click the button copy on the general tab allows you to place a copy in the Clipboard and close Event Viewer. Now start your message and paste it into the body of the message. Make sure that it is the first dough right out of the event viewer.

    5. He cautioned against three types of reports, information, and reports errors. In most situations, it is the error reports that offer the best information but sometimes WARNING reports provide useful clues.

    6. all reports have stamps date and hour and when troubleshooting, it is important to focus on the latest reports. Reports of studies from the point when the computer is started, and then check if a similar report appeared in the previous session. If errors do not repeat investigation as to why they happen is wasted effort.

    7. in the individual reports the most important information is the event ID and Source such as these help when looking for help on the internet. The description is just as important and copy the exact text to use as search criteria greatly helps achieve better results when using Google. Not paraphrase descriptions when other people asking for help.

    8. for Vista and Windows 7 Google is the best source of information. Search for selected text in the Description part of the report (not of the particular words of phrases) that "this exact word or phrase" Gets the best results. Focus on Social Technet and Microsoft Answers reports in the last 12 months. Look elsewhere if a response is difficult to find.

  • Report - form how to align the fields above the other

    Hello

    I have the report formatting I want to have a field with guest left this one per line. I wish all the fields under one of the other goes down of left page.

    I tried all variants with layout-> alignment, but can not get the desired result. Description in the manual seems simple, but don't know what I'm doing wrong.

    I wish only one record per page. Super simple desired attached output.

    Thank you

    Yes, in the layout of the document. assistants can make the initial layout or you can do it manually, but even if you use the assistants you are always free to change the layout.

    When moving things from the presentation, you want to be careful about the flex and limit parameters. they are controlled by the buttons at the top where the ToolTips are "confine on ' or 'Confine offshore' and ' Flex on ' and «off Flex»

    If flex is on, many things may move when you move an object. Turn it off to see the difference (it is enabled by default).

    Borders is also important. You do not want to move items out of the box where it belongs unless you know what you're doing. By default, borders on.

    Good bye.
