• jQuery Mobile BB10 theme: the Application (kick-down) Menu

  I use the latest released version of the jQuery Mobile BB10 theme to develop my apps. I have some questions on how to implement the Application Menu (or sliding down):

  1. I understand the instructions for user interface while the Application Menu is no longer an overlay on top of the current screen (because we are used to seeing in the PlayBook OS 2 applications)? Is the Menu of the Application requires to press the entire page (or screen) down to display the menu buttons?

  2. the Application Menu included in jQuery Mobile BB10 theme, or do we need to implement the set up menu and keys by using a custom code? It is relatively easy to implement this function. I just want to make sure my code matches what is in the BB10 theme.

  I don't think JQuery UI BB10 theme includes a blow in the drop down menu, but the implementation of the menu to slide down to BB10 in WebWorks is not set in stone. In fact, it is very expensive (side performance) to go down the whole container to reveal the menu, therefore a superposition of the top does work better in my opinion.

• jQuery Mobile BB10 theme: arrow on the display of the list

  In the jQuery Mobile BB10 theme, I'm having a time difficult trying to implement what should be a simple visual style on a listview that contains a href.

  My application has two types of lists. Normal list (without links) is ok.

  The list that contains a href is where my problem is. The two lists are the same and I have no way for the user to distinguish easily a link and a non.

  I tried several variants of setting [Data-icon = 'arrow-r'] and [Data-icon = "interface user-icon-arrow-r"] at the same time the

  and
  • levels.

    I might add and manipulate [class = "UI-li-aside"] or [class = 'interface User-li-count'] fields to insert an image of the arrow?

    I know that there is an easy solution that I'm on.

    I tried all kinds of ways to solve this problem, but I can't seem to find a solution. This all started when I tried to update my iTunes to version 10.5. Then came the error message 7 on unidentified signature etc. I could not even run my iTunes more then. I started download iTunes again to repair and it just doesn't work. I don't have problems with the installation of my iTunes for the first time a year ago and upgraded whenever I allow it.

    All other methods I tried to correct the error includes:
    • Uninstall iTunes completely and everything that it supports the programs and files (Quicktime, supporter of Mobile, Hello, Safari etc.)
    • Download Quicktime separately after you have uninstalled it as suggested by other users in some forum.
    • Update the frame Microsot.NET as suggested by the Apple Support site.

    • Manually started the installation of such Windows program suggested by one of the answers on this site:

      a. click the Start button, and then type services.msc in the start search box and press ENTER.
      b. Locate the Windows Installer service.
      c. check that the status is started. If the condition column is empty,
      d. right-click on Windows Installer, and then select start.
      e. If you get error trying to force start the Windows Installer service, then try to change the Startup Type to automatic.
      f. restart the computer.

      I have tried for at least 10 times and I have not yet set and am frustrated. Would be really grateful a solution to this soon.

    Unfortunately for the default color has no good reference. For the text, but it is black (most lower-left), the background is white (color above left). Unvisited links is blue (column 8, line 5) and the visited link is purple (column 9, line 5).

    I use the AE/body development of custom filter SDK and I am facing the following problems:

    I created a user interface customized with highly customized slider settings, "Self-drawn", using parameters of arbitrary data to store their values. It's all works well - but seems to be incredibly heavy lifting for my machine. Handle the event drag in the UI custom, I check if the trail appears on the cursor, set the value of an arbParam and brand:

    params [ECW_UI_COLOR]-> uu.change_flags. = PF_ChangeFlag_CHANGED_VALUE;

    -> leading to a redefinition of the interface. Which seems to be really heavy tho seems to be the update of the arbitrary parameters, that I do not really understand.

    I also checked the implementation of example of a ColorGrid and observed a similar behavior, although not as bad because it doesn't have my crazy events drag. ;-)

    My first question is now:

    Y at - there no alternative for me to store and update data from temporary/session-like (as the real value of my custom cursor) otherwise than directly in arbParams? (then I could store only the last value of cursor on Mouse_Exit in arb for example..)

    I'm also using the DrawImage function in the SurfaceSuite and do not understand how the HIDPI AND RETINA DISPLAY SUPPORT should work.

    I use NewImageFromBuffer and DrawImage to load and position a png image on the surface - which works well - but don't understand the transformation function documentation reduce my image on the screens high resolution. My questions are:

    -What is const DRAWBOT_MatrixF32 * in_matrixP supposed to be / how it might be used and what are the value within the matrix for?

    -Documentation says that supporting HiDPI and Retina, screens you can use images off screen that are twice the size and then use the transformation function to scale the image down into the half before shooting it. How you would use the function of processing on the image when the transformation Gets the surface_ref?

    In my view, only a very simple example would save my life since I tried almost everything I could imagine...

    If someone else is facing problems in the future, at the point where I was able to solve both:

    performance on a custom user interface:

    Rather than use values of arbitrary parameters that I simply hi-jacked by default settings (= sliders) and hide them in the configuration of the filter - which seems to push highly performance and works like a charm.

    made image high definition:

    I finally understood how the transformation matrix must be applied:

    This is usually done with a CMS (content management system). There are commercial products CMS like WordPress, Joomla and perch. You create one or several layouts and then create pages of these page layouts using the CMS. In this way, it is possible to have hundreds of pages, each with unique content, but a page layout that can be managed in a place of sharing.

    CMSs on shelf don't require programming skills. Otherwise, some of us write our own CMS with custom functions, but this requires back-end, as with PHP programming.

    Yes, taken mobile jQuery supported in windows 8 app, but you may need to make some changes in jQuery - mobile.js to operate (if necessary).

    In addition, an area touch active also set on the left side of the window that allows the
    user drag across the page in a way that is not accurate (as suggested in the videos)? This active area will interfere with a gesture of the bezel, such as switching to another app on the PlayBook?

    If Peek is supposed to be a central element in the new BB10 experience, I have a feeling developers will be everywhere with this if it is not included as part of development. (Just a thought...)

    Make it work, you must upgrade to the latest SDK 1.0.3.8.

    I had 1.0.2 and it did not work.
