  If you try to make a photo montage in Premiere Elements, you use the wrong tool for the job.

  If you try to make a photo montage, there is a number of tools to do this in Photoshop Elements and the elements Organizer. Actually, the organizer has a tools especially designed to create collages of photos on the tab create. Have you tried to use this tool?

  BTW, I said goodbye to 50 a long, long time ago, pamela. It is really not difficult once you know what you want to do and where are the tools. You will want to perhaps by the book "Muvipix.com Guide Photoshop elements & first Elements 14", available on Amazon, which shows you step by step how to use all the tools in the programs as well as the Organizer.

  I started using a trial version of the LR5.

  I've been a regular user of the different versions of the EP over the years.

  In general, I was pleased by the Organizer, & have various tags nested in each other.

  I've never had a problem with it being unstable, and can usually find what I'm looking for.

  (provided that I have correctly tagged it in the first place :-))

  My first impression of the LR5 catalog is that it is not as intuitive.

  I am also a happy user of the Organizer, but I also use LR 4.4.

  -huge amount of customization possible and options (if you need it...)

  -Ability to handle JPEG files as well as the raws (the Organizer doesn't let you open JPEGs in acr,)

  -Smart ways to manage variants without copying files (virtual copies)

  -The most advanced metadata management

  -possibility to merge catalogs

  -Much more supported by Adobe and user forums

  -Advanced options in the output in the latest versions

  What can be the subject of a debate, it's the difficulty of the learning curve, as well as the "robustness" of the software. The organizer has riddled many bugs (there were already several years before LR). The problem is that after having much more options makes more complex LR. For example, the database has three times the number of tables. It follows that LR forums are full of complaints about bugs or missing features... just because it's too rich and trying to satisfy the needs of each.

  Several cases of problems with the Organizer are related to the function of backup that backs up the images and catalogs. Catalogues only backup LR. Backup of images is your responsibility. If you have problems, it isn't for lack of LR, it's yours.

  I can't find a post I made to show the possible benefits of the Organizer, but it was just for fun.

  I have recently upgraded to windows 10 and records began to disappear from the LR5.7 catalog in large quantities.  When I tried to re - one of the records import LR added the photos as if they had never been imported...  All data of the edition has also disappeared.  None of the files have been moved in Windows or LR. Has anyone seen this situation before LR5 & Win 10?

  Looks like you open an older LR catalog, perhaps a backup catalog file. This would explain the 'leak' records when you work in LR, because they never were in the oldest catalogue. Who is?

  Use Windows Explorer to search the drive for .lrcat and see if you can find a more recent catalog file.

  Running elements v5.  I bought a new computer from Win8 and the Organizer does not open so I've (finally) upgraded to Elements13.  I installed v13.  I thought that I would easily be able to open my old catalogs (3 of them).  However, I have not seen that open.

  I can see the psa files in my library v5.  However, v13 don't see or recognize the people.

  I'm doing something wrong or that the ability is not a feature?

  I'm writing this, I'm restoring a backup of a file tly.  I would always rather open original catalog file.

  First try the conversion utility. Who must work and retrieve not only your keywords, captions, notes and notes, but also albums, collections, chimneys and the version sets.

  You can delete the catalog Lightroom 6 and his insights that you created. You want to have the Lightroom 6 to upgrade the 5 Lightroom catalog file.   Is there a sort option near the bottom of the import screen. Have you tried different sort options that are available?

  I suggest you please uninstall Lightroom completely from your computer.

  First of all install Lightroom 6.0 on the computer, and then install 6.4 Lightroom as the update.

  The LR5, I edited a shot in PSE8 and recorded a few versions as TIFF (more that I need, but that's another subject!).

  LR5 automatically cataloged these TIFFs very well.

  But when I saved the last change in PSE8 as a JPG , it does not appear in the catalog. The JPG is placed on the record, so I went to import it, but LR5 does not show in the grid to import for the folder. In the import screen, as expected, all the other shots so I saved TIFF appear grayed out because they are on the catalogue. But a new not catalogued is not shown.

  I just want to keep track of the JPG that was based on a cataloged TIFF. Y at - it a trick to simplify the use of a Publisher to run the LR5?

  Is the original source for the tiff and jpeg files a raw file?

  She draws from the LR, go to:

  Edit > preferences > general (tab)

  Lightroom > preferences > general (tab) on Mac OS x

  Try to put a tick in the box to process jpeg & raw as separate files. Does make a difference?

  I'm upgrading to Eudora 7.1.0.9 for Mozilla Thunderbird 38 Pro. Found that I have to install FIRST 31.7 TBird, in order to import "all" my old Eudora Pro boxes mailbox. Installed to 31.7 TBird, attempted to import boxes mailbox. Import worked... for a while, then everything just stopped. Count the imported mailboxes, only 64 600 have been migrated. How can I move the 536 other mailboxes? I need all of them! I tried to re - import, but import only caught about 20 before crashing on the desktop. AND the 20 mailboxes, he caught were the same as the top 20 of the 64 mailboxes that had already been imported. I tried to delete these boxes to the 64 letters from the former location of Eudora Pro, then tried to import again, but only caught importing the "In.mbx' (which had been imported in the first importation). Why import feature does not see the 536 other mailboxes? Is there a MANUAL way just copy/paste the mailbox store as long as the new location is, and have Mozilla automatically recognize them?

  HOLY GETOUTTATOWN! IT WORKED! Apparently, I was the incorrect option 'import '. I finally just selected < ImportExportTools > < import an mbx > and was given several options, so I chose < select a directory where the research of the mbox file to import > and just picked my EudoraConverted directory. Thunderbird should not think for about 40 seconds, and ALL the boxes of letters popped up. It took maybe another 30 seconds for all messages to fill all of the mailboxes. FWIW, the conversion was more than 120,000 messages in mailboxes on the 497. And they seem to ALL have presented, although I still test at random. THANKS for all your help. Now for TBird 1.5 upgrade to the current version! Thank you, once again! Problem solved!
