The PCle SSD for Latitude E5570 support

I want to install a new SSD PCle in a Latitude E5570, but I need the support that goes on the card and secures it from popping out.

Anyone know what the specs are for support, the part No. may be or where I can get it?

Thank you!

They will not fit at the same time.  Support for the SSD 2.5 does not respond when the M2's in there, so don't bother trying. You must decide which you want and maybe use an external network, external storage drive or Dropbox, etc. for more storage.

    Hello

I want to upgrade my computers hardrive portable SSD-Drive. It says on my laptop service guide that only intel based model supports on the ssd drive. However, my flag has AMD Turion. Anyone would confirm, weather, I can upgrade the HDD-> SSD?

In addition, if the upgrade is possible, can I install the current HARD disk drive in the second location on hard disk? If so, are there needed additional cables/adapters.

I tried to find this info on the HP partsurfer, but no luck.

    Any help much appreciated...

    Hello

Much better now. The following link shows the specifications of your machine:

    http://support.HP.com/au-en/document/c02776731

It's a HP Pavilion dv7-6010eo. Currently it has 500 GB SATA (7200 RPM), you can switch to the SSD. You can also put a second HDD of your machine, but you need to caddy and connector. Please visit the following link:

  • What is the phone number for Photoshop CC support

I'm having a terrible experience with the last Photoshop (CC 2014).  Constant of flickering screen (even after the Intel HD 3000 graphics driver update).

Have been in the forum before Adobe and nobody seems to know what is the problem - each blaming the other (personal Photoshop blame Windows 8 bug to say it must be a problem with the Intel driver).

I'm under Intel Core processor i5 with 8 GB of RAM and Windows 8.

I have no intend to sign up for a year with Creative Cloud contract, until I can contact Adobe by phone to solve this problem and actually speak to a person in real life.

Yet nowhere on the HELP of Photoshop section leads to a phone number.

Would appreciate any phone number that anyone who leads actually to talk to someone at Adobe

    My problem with these instructions:

    1. There is no blue logo, it is black

2 external USB keyboard connected to the table not recognized at all

    Hi Rick D,

Try the following steps to get into the Setup/BIOS system:

    • Turning off the tablet.
    • Unplug the Tablet from the docking station.
    • Press the Power button to turn on the system.
    • Until the Dell Logo appears, immediately, press and hold the Volume button down until it displays the system configuration screen.

I hope this helps. Do not respond if you have any other questions.

  • The OCZ SSD compatible with my Qosmio x 500

    Hello

A few weeks ago conlins gave me lots of explanations about the SATA series.

Today, I found the perfect SSD for my computer:
    * OCZ Vertex 3 Max IOPS 120 GB SSD SATA III (VTX3MI-25SAT3 - 120G) *.

Do you know if these devices are perfectly compatible?

What is more, I have a genuine license of Win7 Pro I want to load on this new SSD to replace the version of Win7 installed family previously. The only thing that says I did it is still I'm not sure I'll be able to install the programs of Toshiba (fingerprints, BIOS update, card reader, display driver, Eco Utility, drive BD... and so on). Do you know if there is a risk of losing all that software if I change the original system?

I thank in advance for your help... and excuse my bad English.

    > Do you know if there is a risk of losing all that software if I change the original system?

Take a look on the European driver Toshiba page.
There you can find all the drivers available and Toshiba software.
But the 3rd party software that was preinstalled on the Toshiba cannot be downloaded such software is available in the image of the Toshiba only.

That's why I advise to use the disc Toshiba recover in order to reinstall Win7.

    > Do you know if these devices are perfectly compatible?
Well, the handles of the laptop HDD SATA disk SSD supports SATA so I see a serious problems using this SSD.

Windows 7-64 bits, hardware upgrade of the HP DM1Z.

I have a computer HP DM1Z. "Home Premium" Windows 7 64-bit (again, as in Feb)

I decided to replace the current hard drive 320 GB WD with an Intel X 25 - M 80 GB SSD drive.
Initially, I bought Acronis ' True Image ' to do the download of the OS (the computer has not much on since it's new).
Computer problem closing occurred. A few times my attempts. Acronis has been unable to solve this problem. I cancelled the Acronis.
Decided to call HP. I did a 'clone' on 4 DVDs via an external DVD burner.
    I swapped hard drives.
At startup, I've indexed PF9 & got the "Recovery Manager". Keyed "Minimizes Image Recovery" to re - install the operating system. Progress was halted when a pop-up "target drive is not connected". I tried this same routine with "Recovery System", and the end result is the same.
With "HP support", I keyed PF10 and did a diagnostic test. The new SSD worked. "HP support" indicates problem was probably the Windows 7 software.
I had checked the Microsoft Web site, and the Intel X 25-M is compatible with Windows 7, 64 bit.
What gives? Registry software is with the motherboard, I think. Replace large GGB to small GGB SSD hard drives seem to be no problems from what I've read. What solution can there be? What I need to re-purchase the retail of Windows 7 to replace the OEM Windows 7 to make it work? This is not good.
would appreciate help from anyone in this case. Thank you.

  • What SSD for early 2009 imac?

    Hello

I have a question to choose the good ssd for my imac 7y/o (9.1) since early 2009.

I found a few good SSD as the samsung 840 BX100 or critical, but I've also read several times that a ssd sata3 will use sata1 when installed on a sata2.

And that is why it is better to install a sata2 ssd.

IS that still the case today? Given that these messages are coming from 2013.

Or is that I can put in an ssd sata3 and it will run on sata2?

    Kind regards

    Ivo

SATA III drives that use the Sandforce controller will come back to SATA I speed if installed on a computer that uses the Nvidia MCP79 SATA controller. Samsung does not Sandforce. My Macbook in early 2009 with a Samsung 840 (pre Evo, not Pro) negotiates the SSD SATA II speed, connected to the MCP79.  OWC also still sells SATA II disks, I have one in my late 2009 iMac. I chose this drive, even if it was more expensive because OWC insisted that my model should have the Nvidia controller but in reality it has controller Intel 5 series. I didn't take my iMac except more than once.

    Confused? Yes I know...

  • T420-best SSD for use in housing Ultrabay caddy?

What is the best SSD for use in the Ultrabay caddy in a Thinkpad T420?

    Welcome to the forum!

Any standard 2.5 "7mm or 9.5 mm SSD should work. I'd stick with brands such as Crucial, Samsung or Intel and are looking for the cost lowest to higher capacity. Considering that the T420 is now several years old, that I doubt that go with the SSD that has specifications "faster" will make a difference in practice.

BTW the Ultrabay works at speeds of SATA-III (6 Gb/s), so it shouldn't be a bottleneck compared to the internal drive Bay.

  • Best SSD for a T420 under $ 200

    Hello

I'm awkward between a T420 and a 220 X, especially because the X 220 has a smaller screen and I don't know how I'll be able to adapt to that (I already have glasses, so...).

What is the best SSD for the T420 under $ 200? Almost any larger than 100 GB capacity should be fine for me as I intend to get a UltraBay housing and put the HARD drive.

    punjabimunda wrote:
Crucial than any other brand? I'm more interested in the series from Intel. Which Intel series should I watch? As I said, I don't have huge sizes. Good speed is a +.

The Intel 520 series is also very popular, as is the Samsung 830 series. They are all good. You could do a search on Google for reviews and comparison tests, but I suspect that you will be happy with any of them.

  • Cloning of SSDS for SSD

I just bought a HP Zbook 1517 that works great on Windows 7. It has a 256 Gb Solid State Drive (SSD). After having used it for a few days and put away there files and folders I commonly use, I wanted to have a back up. So I bought a new SSD 256 GB and using another cloned computer the original SSD for the new SSD using Macrium software. As far as I could tell, an exact clone were made. However although the original SSD always starts the Zbook, I can't boot from the clone SSD. According to me, the bios must change, but I'm not totally sure what I should do. Help, please.

    Hello

I think that you need to fix the MBR. It can be done by a Windows 7 install disc or DOS environment with orders bootrec /fixmbr bootrec /fixboot and then.

Unetbootin is a good utility to do too much.
