The Protocol RTMFP - what is a public protocol or private

Hi all

I read in a post that the RTMFP Protocol is private to Adobe and not publicly published yet. The conclusion is correct, because this other Red5 media server, Wowza or WebORB cannot apply this Protocol in their solution?

Thank you!

Marc

Stratus (and LiveCycle Collaboration Service) are the only server or service that implements RTMFP. A future Flash Media Server will implement RTMFP. No third party has managed to reverse engineering the new RTMFP Protocol.

  • Darkness of 8.4 (1) vpn L2L filter ASA when you specify the Protocol and port

Hi all - I've spent many hours trying to diagnose this and have read several discussions and the Cisco docs unsuccessfully...

Situation: two sites running Cisco ASA 5520 on 8.4 (1) with L2L IPsec on the public internet between each of them. The configuration of IPsec and associated routing works as it should and we are able to pass traffic between networks private behind each device as expected. The problem occurs when you try to block sessions using a vpn-filter group policy configuration.

Each site has 3 private subnets that are able to communicate correctly without the vpn-filter configuration. We want to restrict access to specific protocols, hosts, and ports between each network.

    SITE A: 10.10.0.0/18, 10.10.64.0/18, 10.10.128.0/18

    SITE B: 10.20.0.0/18, 10.20.64.0/18, 10.20.128.0/18

When we apply a filter-vpn configuration which restricted access only two guests, as follows...

SITE A: vpn_acl_x_x_x_x list extended access permit ip host 10.20.0.1 host 10.10.0.1

SITE b: the ip host 10.10.0.1 allowed extended access list vpn_acl_x_x_x_x host 10.20.0.1

... the configuration works correctly. However, when we try to lock the configuration more far and specify the protocols and ports, as follows...

SITE A: vpn_acl_x_x_x_x list extended access permit tcp host 10.20.0.1 host 10.10.0.1 eq 22

SITE b: vpn_acl_x_x_x_x to the list of access permit tcp host 10.10.0.1 host 10.20.0.1 eq 22

... and then try to establish a SSH connection between 10.10.0.1 and 10.20.0.1 or vice versa, the package is stopped on the side of the SOURCE. ..

    Mar 22 11:58:01 x.x.x.x 22 March 2011 14:34:56: % ASA-4-106103: vpn_acl_x_x_x_x of the access list refused tcp to the user "" inside-data/10.10.0.1(59112)-> outside-iptrans/10.20.0.1(22) hit - cnt 1 first success [0xd8d1c1b4, 0 x 0]

I would really appreciate it if someone could shed some light on what is wrong with this Setup.

    SOLUTION

The ACE must be implemented on the source and the end of the tunnel destination to facilitate this configuration.

EXAMPLE 1: allow SSH two-way communication between hosts on each network (SITE A can connect to SITE B, SITE B can connect to SITE A)...

    SITE A:

    access-list vpn_acl_x_x_x_x extended permit tcp host 10.20.0.1 host 10.10.0.1 eq 22

    access-list vpn_acl_x_x_x_x extended permit tcp host 10.20.0.1 eq 22 host 10.10.0.1

    SITE B:

    access-list vpn_acl_x_x_x_x extended permit tcp host 10.10.0.1 host 10.20.0.1 eq 22

    access-list vpn_acl_x_x_x_x extended permit tcp host 10.10.0.1 eq 22 host 10.20.0.1

EXAMPLE 2: allow communication one-way SSH between hosts on each network (SITE A can connect to SITE B, SITE B is unable to connect to SITE A)...

    SITE A:

    access-list vpn_acl_x_x_x_x extended permit tcp host 10.20.0.1 eq 22 host 10.10.0.1

    SITE B:

    access-list vpn_acl_x_x_x_x extended permit tcp host 10.10.0.1 host 10.20.0.1 eq 22

Very good and thank you for this post. Please kindly marks the message as answered while others may learn from your post. I think that you have started a very good discussion on vpn-filter for tunnel L2L.

  • After that the upgrade of my URL bar no longer displays the Protocol.

After that the upgrade to Firefox 7.0 my URL bar is no longer shows me what protocol is used when you use http port 80. How can I turn this feature on?

The Protocol (http://) was removed from the URL in the location bar for pages http:// only. https:// pages will always have the Protocol. This can be confusing for some users. There is also a bug known, where if you copy the URL after selection of the awesome bar dropdown (but before loading the page) it does not include the http:// part.

Users can revert to the old behavior by setting browser.urlbar.trimURLs to false in about: config

    1. type of topic: config in the URL/address bar and press the Enter key
    2. If you see a cautionary, accept it (promise to be careful)
    3. Filter = browser.urlbar.trimURLs
    4. Double-click the pref in the lower panel of toggle it on 'false' OR , do a right-click on the pref in the lower panel, then choose "Toggle" switch it on "false."
    5. close the topic: config tab

You may need to update some plug-ins. Check your plug-ins and update if necessary:

  • I have updated and now when I try to log on to Web sites with fingerprint reader, I get "Firefox doesn't know how to open this address, because the Protocol (dpql) is not associated with any program."

  • Replicate Readynas does not - code output: 12 (error in the protocol stream)

Hello, I hope someone can help,

Having a problem with a 212 and repeated.

    I get the below error

    Files size: 312,82 GB

Total of files transferred from size: 0 B

    Average speed: 0 B/s

Exit code: 12 (error in the protocol stream)

It worked until 6.5.2 update and I have restarted both readynas since then and still today.

    Anyone know what is happening?

Thank you for your answer, you're the only guy who answers on here haha!

We have 8 different jobs repeated or main nas and 6 of them work and 2 did not, after changing the routes over which the readynas uses to go to the internet, they are all seem to be working now, very strange as the other 6 worked a treat.

You can mark it as fixed, will update all the nas with the last update this week.

  • NiVisa with the Protocol P849

I have a piece of equipment that requires P849 protocol via RS232-C. I can connect to the device using NOR-M & A Explorer on device COM1 (ASRL1). The Protocol is simple, send ascii 5 (character ENQ) and equipment with ascii 6 (character ACK) responses for the handshake. Then the commands start with ascii 2 (character STX) follow-up followed by ascii 3 (character ETX). I see the right answers but keep getting errors TMO... I tried different settings of VI_ATTR, but no progress.

Is this just a problem with the settings VI_ATTR or NiVisa can simply not to handle this Protocol?

    Diary of NOR-SPY home.

    Thanks in advance.

I can't help with the Java application, but I did a couple of different ways, and you do not really set the size of the buffer - you set the number of bytes to read into the buffer.

If I need to check that the equipment responds with the correct characters, I will first put the term tank turn off. then, after the entry VISA, I'll use the function to determine the number of bytes in the buffer (VI_ATTR_ASRL_AVAIL_NUM). I'll pass this number to playback VISA. I'll analyze the string returned for anything that is unique or more characters I want. It is in a loop, and if the expected characters are there, the loop stops. If they are not, so the loop continues. I place a function of time-out (separate from the integrated delay of VISA) and returns an error if characters are never seen. The characters form a chain that I pass to this function of general reading.

Another technique to use is simply not care if the instrument is back all the correct acknowledgments and simply read what is returned. In this case, I have a loop with the VI_ATTR_ASRL_AVAIL_NUM function and leave the loop when the number is greater than 0 (there also a function of time-out here as well if the instrument never replies with anything). Then another loop is called and there is also VI_ATTR_ASRL_AVAIL_NUM to change the number of bytes to read VISA. This loop stops when the number of bytes is 0.

What technique do you use is up to you. There is more in the first technique of error checking. The second is rather Hyperterminal works. You get just whatever the instrument sends.

  • TC7 SX20 manually select the Protocol to call before dialing the remote

Hi, I found that after upgrading my sx20 to TC7.1.1, I couldn't select protocol to call before dialing. If I select recent calls, there is an option called "edit before call", however, when I click on it with remote control, it simply allows for me to change the composition of number but not allow me to choose which protocol to use. I can select protocol to call before dialing on the web interface. How can I choose the Protocol to call during a call with the remote control? Thank you

Hmm, you're absolutely right, never noticed this before us does not normally use the remote control to call connections. Anyway, been playing with it for a while this morning and not, the memorandum of appeal cannot be specified or changed, only the rate of appeal using the tab at the bottom of the screen. (It's using TC7.2.1).

Guess the system configuration to use 'Auto' as the default calling Protocol and let the system decide what to use will be your best option.

Otherwise, you will need to create entries in the local directory through the web gui and specify the protocols etc it.

Suggest you to contact your local Cisco representative and submit a feature request to make this option available.

    /Jens

  • Make Oracle ASM is supported via the Protocol of the TCPS?

    Hello

Make Oracle ASM is supported via the Protocol of the TCPS? The connectivity of the ASM is supported via SSL connection? I'm not able to get documents appropriate for this setting. Could you help me find the configuration related to this?

    Thanks in advance.
    Kind regards
    Mukesh

    Bjoern Rost says:
I have no idea what TCPS is supposed to be, and I don't know why you would want to use SSL when connecting to an instance of the DSO. ASM communication takes place between an instance of Oracle (database) and an instance of the ASM on the same host, and I simply don't understand why you would want to encrypt it.

    Agree with that.

The ASM and the database are always on the same host. They communicate with each other directly through a CRS daemon.
It is NOT possible to have the ASM remotely on another server. Discussions about protocols is therefore not useful

  • Add the Protocol for magnet links Manager

I try to get firefox to call a custom software when it encounters a magnet url. I added the Protocol (HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT > magnet > shell > open > order) with regedit. It seems be added correctly, since Chrome is able to understand without additional configuration.

I tried to add the boolean Network.protocol - handler.expose.magnet in subject key: config in firefox. Nor have the false value, no real changes anything.

The error I get is along the lines with "firefox doesn't know how to open the magnet Protocol because it is not associated with any program"(mon message n'est pas en anglais traduction donc pas exacte). "»

In addition, no record of the magnet is available under programs in the firefox settings.

My version of Firefox is 17.0.1
The association of programs I put in regedit is 'E:\Program\Python27\pythonw.exe' 'E:\Program\Misc\magnet_add.pyw' '%1'

Thanks in advance for your help

    Did you check that?

  • I try to get Firefox to open Vuze when I click on a magnet link, I get the following message: Firefox doesn't know how to open this address, because the Protocol (loving) is not associated with any program. tell me the solution

When I try to open a torrent using magnet, I get the following message. Firefox doesn't know how to open this address because the Protocol (loving) is not binding to any program.

I had this problem and just reinstalled Firefox. Problem solved. In my case, I believe that it is through the installation of FlashGet. Although I uninstalled FlashGet, it had outstripped the Magnet links / Protocol. I hope this helps you with your instance. Fortunately, I had Setup for my version of Firefox (7.0.1) registered and used that but you might need to search for your current version or install a later version

  • Problem of the intranet: "Firefox doesn't know how to open this address, because the Protocol (k) is not associated with any program."

Creation of an intranet to a collection of security videos and am linking to a video through a picture icon in the form of:
    < a href = "K: \'link to the movie" > ""
    < /a >

Overview on the works of IE9, the movie starts when the splash screen is clicked, but in Firefox, I get the alert "Firefox doesn't know how to open this address, because the Protocol (k) is not associated with any program."

InterLan VLC is the video player by default on the PC. I don't want to put video controls anywhere in the page.

I code for XHTML 1.1 strict with CSS 2.1, and Firefox 5 handles all of my eccentric styles while IE9 has a few issues, while Firefox is my browser of choice.

Looking at my Options in Firefox, 'File Windows Media audio/video' is configured to use VLC.exe, so I'm always looking to solve this problem.

    Any Suggestions?

You must use the Protocol file:// (file:///k:/link_to_movie).
Easier to see the links to use are to open a file via file > open a file
