The SCB-68 wiring diagram

Hello all,.

I have a beautifully SCB-68 connector block 68 pins. Can anyone provide me with the wiring diagram?

I went through the guides provided, but I have a few questions.

(1) how exactly work the switches?

(2) what is the need to provide + 5v to the part of conditioning of signals? (As for signal conditoning, we use some resistors and capacitors)

(3) where do we always connect us our signal? It is always the terminals screw or is it depends on the requirement of signal conditioning?

(4) if we use a conditioning of signals, which are input terminals? And what con terminals signals reaching data acquisition?

Concerning

-Vaidhin.

Hey,.

the Circuit diagram is shown to these PDF on page 82-83. (SCB-68 68-pin shielded connector manual user Block)

The sensor you want to use is never connect with the Terminal screw,

The switches have the following functions:

S1--> 5V supply

S2--> DGND

S3--> AIGND

S4--> PES or differential measurement

S5--> (cold junction Compensation) CJC

Best regards

    I have a new card PCIE-6323 in a new computer that replaces two cards PCI-6221 in an old computer.  0 has a SCB-68 connector and Connector 1 has a SCC-68.  My problem is that when I set up the tasks in MAX, there not a tab to view wiring diagrams as it was when I used the 6221 cards.

    I'm under LabVeiw 2013 and the MAX is the 5.5.0f0 version.

    TEK,

    No, to AO, I don't have the wiring plan either.

    Xxx - 68 terminal blocks, as far as I know, they have the same numbering as device pinouts. If you are looking for the pinout of the device (available on MAX through the device) should give you the correct numbers for the wiring of the AO.

  • Adding colors to a wiring diagram?

    Hi, I'm new to Photoshop and add Auto color of the different wires to a wiring diagram.

    For now the diagram is a black and white PDF with black lines showing the wires connecting each component and each line to a point having an abbreviation to indicate what color wire, for example

    Battery ________________________B_____________________________Fuel Pump

    where 'B' indicates that the wire is black.

    As you can imagine with dozens of wires going from one component to another, it becomes quite difficult to follow, but it would not be nearly so difficult if I could change the black lines to the appropriate color.

    If anyone knows how can I do this please?  I have a copy of Photoshop Elements 9 installed.

    Thanks in advance.

    Kind regards

    Peter

    I suggest that you proceed in the same way we could color lineart, except your coloring lines instead of inside the lines.

    1 unlock your background layer by double clicking on the thumbnail of the layer (so you can place the layers underneath).

    2. change the blending mode of the layer in the diagram in order to alleviate or screen.

    2 use adjustment layers color fill under your layer diagram to color the black lines.

    a: you can get the layers of color fill by a small icon at the bottom of the layers panel.

    b. the layer mask must be black (Edit > fill)

    3. Select the pencil tool, with the foreground color set to white and paint on the lines.

    (You can clear the paint color of black on the layer mask)

    4. use a new color for each different color fill layer

    5. for the son that multi color like yellow and white for example you could make a model and use a

    fill layer model instead of a color fill layer.

  • Can I use a PXI-6224 with the SCB-68 to take the measurements of 4-wire RTD, or do I need a power supply separate?

    I suspect I already know the answer to this question:

    I have an PXI-6224 M-series data acquisition card and a terminal of the SCB-68 block and want to take action using a bunch of 4-wire RTD. Is the power to the power source for these measures 6224, or is - not possible with the hardware I have?

    I know that NEITHER you propose other solutions to my problem: I am interested to know if I can do these measures with the device that I currently have on site.

    Thank you!

    Hello Jeffrey,.

    You have two options here, but it doesn't look like you need some hardware.

    The SMU-4357 built conditioning of signals, but it will not work on the chassis curent you have:

    http://sine.NI.com/NIPs/CDs/view/p/lang/en/NID/210596/

    We also have an option with the NI 9217 cDAQ, but once, it gets you into a different platform:

    http://sine.NI.com/NIPs/CDs/view/p/lang/en/NID/208804

    We used to have an option that we sell no more - the SC-2042RTD. If you are lucky and have one of them on hand so here's some info:

    http://digital.NI.com/public.nsf/allkb/4FF2C0F8D11B99B486256F4C006DCEA0

    You can also use these two elements in conjunction with eachother with your current PXI card:

    http://sine.NI.com/NIPs/CDs/view/p/lang/en/NID/10778

    Finally, you could get an SCXI chassis and drop them in:

  • Can I do a voltage simple registration when the SCB-68 is configured for cold junction Compensation?

    Hello world

    I use a 6221 card PCI and the SCB-68 plug-in. I put the SCB - 68 module switches so that 5 thermocouples that I have connected between AI1 and AI5 use AI0 cold junction Compensation. Everything works fine.

    Could someone tell me if the differential inputs left AI6 AI7 can be used for the registration of another type of sensor (nothing to do with a thermocouple)? I guess I just need to put these 2 entries to a voltage simple recording function? Previous switches settings to make this simple recording?

    Thank you

    User

    You can read some signals you want in the remaining channels.  Be careful, however.  If you scan at a high rate, the thermocouple inputs will not have the time to settle.  Changing gains and ranges can ruin you, also.  Once I had to analyze a shorted channel (a rider or an internal channel) to clear the entries before moving on to thermocouples.  Adding channels "in white" to your scan list can do wonders.  You can read the manual to learn the order of the channel scan - I remember old E analyzed in reverse sometimes series cards.

  • Remove or replace the name of the network (Vista, wired to the router)

    I have 4 computers on my network home (a new laptop and Windows 7 desktop computer and an older laptop and desktop Vista, which are replaced - laptops are wireless).  I had a LOT of problem with printer sharing, especially after a reboot printer goes offline, and I can't find any way to get them back another remove printers and reinstalling (disappointment, disappointment, disappointment) online.  And then I started having problems with one of the Vista (cables to the router) computers access the computer Windows 7 new, also wired to the router.

    Then I will begin first with the last problem.  Trying to get the old wired Office Access/recognize the new desktop windows 7 Wired, I ended up resetting my fairly new Linksys router e2500 to its factory setting - and in the process gained a new network name.  I finally understood how to get the laptops wireless to recognize the new network (should be easy, but it wasn't), but the old wired Vista insists on the use of the former name of network, one that appears in the network and sharing Center implementation.  The other funny thing is that even though she seems to be using the former name of network, I put on Jack autour with her so I don't have Internet access on my old Vista computer.

    I guess that because it is trendy, it seems not to worry about the network name, but it's bothering me because it's not fair.  However, I can't find any way to delete the old name of network.  I spent the day on that and am still confused.  Baffled because it is working and baffled because I can change the name.  I also get a lot of mistakes "Windows cannot access \\myWindows7computername" when I double click on the name displayed in the network folder of Windows Explorer (probably more serious problem).  In any case, I want to address what should be first the problem of easire.

    I discovered enabled network, public folder sharing, which transforms file on the computer discovery and Vista network, sharing the printer and sharing active files (but only on the printer and all the other things of file not checked), and sharing files public computer to Windows 7 (the one with the printers connected to it) - and passwords disabled on both (all computers).

    So my first question is how to make the network name on the Vista desktop wired old deleted/changed/replaced for the new name of the current network.  Why it does not insist in using the former name of network that no longer exists.

    Ron in round rock

    Sorry about that, but I got my answer from another forum, a Linksys Forum - and I will talk about a few things in case other people have this problem/question.

    To remove the network name that appears on the Network Center and sharing, click on the link to customize to the right of the network type - and on the next screen, click on merge or delete network locations, you will / should be able to remove (don't know what fusion done or means) the network with the wrong name, EXCEPT that you can't remove it If it is being used (which is / was the problem I had).  When I unplugged the cable between the computer and the router, I was able to remove the network location (the one with the old name of network), I tried to get rid of.

    Now for the confession.  All this has nothing to do with the name of the network - and most of the things in my original post is just smoke also.  I was going down the wrong path.  It turns out that with computers connected to a router, there is only one network involved and you can call it anything you like and it will work.  There is no selection of a network involved as in the case of a wireless network.

    Network with wired computers name is determined lby network name "you enter" on the screen to customize network settings, the screen you get when you click Customize on the screen of the Network Center and sharing - and you can type in anything you want here.  I'd so go through all this.  I simply had to re - enter the network name on the screen to customize network settings, that is simply a name that you can use for your own reference.

    A casual user of Illustrator, I was just store a circuit diagram so that I can include a copy in a FrameMaker document own .eps. To my surprise and satisfaction, I managed to add a bump "contactless" in a path by adding an anchor point normal to the West of the intersection, adding an anchor of Bézier point to the East, and a movement of the Bézier handles until the North-South line.

    Question: what is the trick to ensure that the "hump" is centered horizontally - in other words, making sure that the anchor points East and West are the same horizontal distance from the North-South line?

  • Difference between the SCB-68 box and out manually

    Hi guys,.

    I just wanted to know what is the difference between using

    -Break SCB-68 box for my SMU-6341

    -Identify the SH68 pins (is it possible?)  connection cable in and out manually?

    Hi Joel,

    The main difference is that SCB-68, or any other accessory wiring or you give I/O facilitate the wiring and guaranteed specifications (e.g., EMC, safety). Out manually is useful when you need to customize your cabling to meet your specific needs. There are a few things you should be aware of when out manually, and these are explained in the Manual of SMU-6341 (page 2-7).

    The mapping of the sons of the SHC68-68-EPM cable list is available here.

    I hope this helps.
