The screen of my XP is dull, how do I change the brightness?

My screen is very dull, can anyone help - which would cause or where can I find the brightness setting?

Thank you Lynda

Hello

To adjust the brightness of your monitor, you should consult the documentation supplied in the box with it, or look on the manufacturer's website.

Alternatively, a limitation of your video card or a screen could be causing your problem. Make sure you have the latest drivers installed for your monitor and your card.
