The screen resolution has changed.
After that I have updated to the latest version of Muse, my screen is enlarged. It looks like the screen resolution has changed. How can I change the resolution of the screen on Muse?
On Windows, 2014.3 Muse now supports 100%, 150% or 200% resolution, according to the scale factor you set in Control Panel. My guess is that you have your control panel set at about 125 per cent and Muse chose the scale factor supported 'closer', which is 150%. We've heard a few users that they would prefer Muse to continue functioning at 100% in this case.
This sounds like the situation you're in?
Now, you need to set the scale factor to your screen to 100% having muse running at 100%, but we are working on a solution in the short term to say the Muse to operate at 100% without changing your scale factor of Panel controls.

Screen resolution randomly changes from top down
With great frequency, I find that my screen resolution has changed since the highest (1680 x 1050) at the lowest. It takes much effort with the Control Panel, appearance, customization, display settings to make it back to the highest resolution. Usually, I have to do in stadiums... Set it to second place, save it and then after about TEN TEST - set for the largest. No idea why this continues to be and if I can help somehow. I'll let the computer and the resolution will be fine. I go back to him and he changed.
My screen is a Samsung SyncMaster 216BW. I checked for the modernization of the screen, but there is not. With the help of Visa Home Premium.
Thank you!
You don't want to check for the drivers of the monitor; you want to check drivers for your * video card. Uninstall the old drivers and install the new. If this solves the problem very well. If not, then you use some software buggy in the background that changes the screen resolution or your video card has failed. In the first case, try a clean boot. If all goes well, add things at once, back test after each change until you find the culprit. If a clean boot does not work (and you have already updated the drivers), then you are looking to replace the equipment.
Get the drivers of:
1. site of the device mftr. ; OR
2. site of the card mother mftr. If the material is on board; OR
3. website of the OEM manufacturer for your specific machine if you have a PC OEM (HP, Dell, Sony, etc.).Read the installation instructions on the Web site where you get the drivers.
To find out what hardware is in your computer:
1. read all documentation that you got when you purchased the computer.
2. If the computer is OEM, access the site Web of the OEM for your specific model machine and look at the specs (you'll be there to get the drivers anyway)
3. download, install and run a program of inventory of the free system like Belarc Advisor or System Information for Windows.http://www.Belarc.com/free_download.html - Belarc Advisor

Cannot change the screen resolution. Help, please
I recently reinstalled Windows XP (service Pack2) on my computer and restored the office to the factory settings. Now, the screen resolution is stuck at 640 x 480 and 16-bit color quality as this was not a problem before. The screen that appears under 'type of screen' in the advanced settings menu says "default monitor" and the properties button is not clickable. I tried to connect another monitor to the PC, but it doesn't help. Can someone help please I really need to change the resolution of the screen to a higher quality? Also, the PC has an internet connection if that makes a difference. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you.
... What other drivers in addition to the graphics card and network card should I try to install?
In fact, those who are newer than your current drivers.
I understand your reasoning for installing the monitor driver, however, I'd personally chipset (motherboard), video, audio and network (LAN) first. After updating the video driver, there is a chance that it recognises so the screen correctly.
I don't know if you have reinstalled Windows XP from floppy disks to install Windows or Dell installation/recovery disks or partition restore hidden, but nevertheless, the drivers that were installed during installation is as new as the installation media. Given that the media are at least 5 years and more (maybe 8 years and more), there is an excellent chance that all the material and device drivers have been updated.

My Roxio VHS TO DVD movie editing program has worked on my laptop Toshiba Windows 7 system before I reformatted. Now when I open Roxio it changes the screen resolution of 256 colors at a very low resolution b and the program will not work. When I close the program Roxio the resolution of the screen reverts back to 256 colors. Control of program compatibility tells that it's incompatible, but the program worked on my system before I reformatted.

Windows 7 changes the screen resolution when video applications go full screen.
When I have plenty of screen some video players, that the resolution of the screen on just the ordinary 1080 p 1080 p (native) that has a refresh rate of 60 hz. As soon as I exit full screen it activates again. Would be nice but when it switches the screen is no longer fits the screen and the user interface looks very grainy, the video actually looks very good. Windows Media Player 12 for this, while VLC does not, which leads me to believe its something to do with the way that Windows Media Player makes video (which I think it uses Direct x, which uses VLC OpenGL). I have this problem on my computer and my brothers computer I customized built. The specifications are very similar, other that my computer has an Nvidia GTS 250, and has a Nvidia GTX 275. Is there anyway to stop it from doing this?
Data sheet:
Intel Core i7 clocked at 2.66 Ghz
6 GB of ram
ASUS P6T SE LGA 1366 Intel X 58 ATX Intel Motherboard
Just in case people always have a problem with this problem, pls here's a solution that worked for me...
I spent the last month trying to solve this problem, and "youemailme" (another thread here) had the correct solution for me! And so Simple!
I noticed on Blogs that this problem has existed for at least Win98 is not your computer or your operating system.
The question seems to be programs in your Menu has a different screen resolution to set startup, thereby causing the screen resolution change when you start your computer. This isn't a MicroSoft program error, but rather a question of "settings".
With me, what worked were 2 things:
(1) perform the 'clean boot process' as advised by many to determine which granted software was causing the problem... and then.
(2) right click on the name of the program (as discovered in above) 'problem' in the Start Menu > properties > compatibility. For some reason, there is an option to "run in 640 x 480 screen resolution", which has been verified. This program was in the startup folder and the cause of the problem. Then unchecked the resolution box. No problem.
In my view, there are a large number of people dealing with this exact problem. I hope that this process of step 2 could solve their problems.
(ps, just thinking about it now, you might not even bother with the 'clean boot process' but simply go through all your programs in your Start Menu and run the 2nd step explained above. Should work?)
See you soon

Please advise?
I know this is an old thread, but I came across it looking for a solution to the same problem. It turns out that my problem has a cause simple and simple solution. I had accidentally pressed the "multiple displays" function key on my keyboard (F4 on my HP Envy) and therefore affect my screen out of two monitors without realizing it. I started getting the error "the screen resolution is too low for this application to run", came here, tried to change my resolution screen and then realized what I had done. Once I changed the key function to the PC only, the problem has been resolved.

Satellite A200 - 14 d: how many times can I change the screen resolution
I would like to ask if often resolution change may damage the screen of my Satellite A200 - 14 d?
Because now I'm programming in Assembly in resolution 640 x 480, and whenever I run a program, the screen should change its 1280 x 800 to 640 x 480 resolution, and it takes 1-2 seconds: it is empty, the backlight turns off, then the new resolution appears. I would like to ask if it permanently (often) could damage my LCD?
Thank you.
Don't worry man, it will not damage the screen ;)
You can change the screen resolution often unhesitatingly ;) -

I have a laptop HP G72 - some time between when I went to bed and now the resolution on my built-in display has changed. Currently, it indicates a maximum resolution of 1600 X 900. The icons seem to be at least 50% larger than the last time I used the PC. I restarted the PC without change. I think my previous setting was 1920 X 1080. Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions?
Hello ffrase,
Your resolution has changed.
If everything worked fine last night, maybe an update has been applied, and some setting has been changed.
Since it has not been long since the problem started, you can run a system restore.
This will bring the system back to when everything worked correctly without affecting your personal files.
Here is a link on how to do a restore.
I would like to know how everything goes
Nice day.
