The sound stops when I stop the timeline.

If I start the animation from the start, the sound will be played. But, when I put in pause and click on replay, the sound stops.  I have to run it to the beginning to get the sound to play again.  I'm trying to animate a video to the beat of a song and it is very difficult to do that when I have to run it to the beginning each time to hear all the sounds.  What should I do to fix this?  Can it be fixed?

Select sound in the scenario and in properties, change its synchronization to be stream instead of the event. If you find that the flow is grayed out, it means that you are using HTML5 Canvas, which does not support that.

If you the last animation should be HTML5, then continue to use an ActionScript 3 FLA to set up the synchronization of sound to the animation and then either convert that into HTML5 Canvas, or copy and paste layers in a Florida HTML5 Canvas

You are likely to encounter synchronization problems if you play a demanding animation as HTML5 on a slower device.

    The background on the issue, is that there is a switch small sensor inside the plug headphones. When you insert a headphone jack, the sensor includes what is what and changes the setting of audio output for headphones.     P.S. A solution I found is to pull down the top menu (which causes the timeline to disappear) and after about 15 seconds, the settings menu will hide as well.

So far I have not had problem with the version of 2015-1 that I bought last November. Could someone tell me what is happening and what is the solution?

  • Timeout / stop(); does not properly on the timeline

    Its been a while! I returned again trying to 'program', a small demo for a digital camera dipstick for the work.

    I have a few sections that are looking for a second press of button > 1 (delayed) or else it will to a keyframe of the caveat on the timeline. Once as part of the warning, it stays for a few seconds (slideIntervalNum) and then continued to play in the next section that contains a variable it back to the original frame is in.

    IF the user clicks on the button for < 1, everything in the frame of the caveat they save another section in the timeline panel. That's all what I have planned for but...

    My problem is that when row is clicked the button for less than 1 second and quickly returns to the beginning of the animation / timeline at some point that something happening actually so that he won't obey the stop(); order at all!  He will continue to play advance frame by frame when nothing is done. And even if the press a button of the > 1 sec is executed for stop and go to the next section, he used to always obey the stop(); order!

    any suggestions?

    You must keep checking with the manufacturer of chipset of the sound card for the updated drivers.  Regarding codecs, I personally used the K-lite Codec pack.  I have all the others have not yet used but only found a reliable being.  You can Bing for Codec packs, but be careful when you download from.     It seems that the problem is to do with your keyframes for the width and height on the chronology of the flower. They are displayed with an outline and are not solid. I did their solid and who seems to have done the trick, the flower is no longer disappears.

    1. import a video on Board (just let´s say it s long of 20 seconds for this example).
    2 reading of the video from the beginning by a 'play' button.
    3. making the video stops automatically at different intervals by the pause/stop setting triggers in the chronology of the scene.
    4 playing do the video blog posted in break / collapsed by clicking the play button.
    (Example: when clicking on the video would play to the 5 second mark and then stop because of a trigger stop/pause 5 seconds mark.) To keep on playing the position of stop/pause 5 seconds you´d have to click play again)

    If even, what triggers the timeline that you use to stop/pause the video?

    You´d be my hero if you could help me with that. I ve been tried for three days straight now.

    OK, I managed to get this working. That's what I had to do, for anyone who might know rape the same mind...:

    1. turn the video into a symbol.
    2. on stage, symbol and video not autoplay.

    3. set play in video playback at the beginning of the video.
    4. set the break in the video playback at the time preferred on chronology of symbol.
    5 expand as much as you can about the chronology of symbol and set trigger 'stop all' for the symbol right after the break reading of the marking.

    6. setting game in video playback just after the "stop all trigger" marking.
    7. create the button with the symbol of action game.

    Now, you can play a video that stop a pre game break and make countinue to run recliquant on the play button.

    For me, nothing else has worked. The buttons pause and stop video features didn t do something when you don't do what I did above to the letter, even when used in that I found a very logical way. Adobe should address these things if they want on board to be a common tool for everyone to use. I know I'm new to this, but if I upload a correct video, read it in the timeline and just insert a basic video pause or stop all off and nothing happens, well then the basics are neglected. I shouldn´t have to go through trial and error ALL the time.

Currently using Captivate CS5.5 and cannot understand why Captivate shows ALL layers of content when the PlayBar stops rather than only the active layers at this point in time.
