The SPA3102 to PAP2T PSTN line

Hello, I need to use the RTC of another building connected to the first by a link radio. I have an SPA3102 connected to the RTC and PAP2T line in the other building. the configuration I did is the following:

On the line PSTN SPA3102 tab:

PSTN-to-VoIP Gateway Enable: Yes

PSTN Caller Auth method: no

PSTN through line 1 ring: no

PSTN to VoIP CID CID: Yes

PSTN Caller default DP: 2

Off hook while VoIP call: no

Dial Plan 2: (S0<>[email protected]/ * / _address:port >)

where userid is any user name you configured in line PAP2T configuration, ip_address is the PAP2T ip address, port is the Sip Port configured on line PAP2T configuration.

Call without Reg: Yes

PSTN response time: 3

Under the tab line SPA3102:

Turn on numbering IP: Yes

Configuring the tab line PAP2T :

Call for years without Reg: Yes

Problem is I get the PAP2T call but I'm not able to do. Can U help me understand my mistake?

Thank you

One more thing... I have connected the spa3102 on my local network through an "ethernet" port and there is nothing plugged into the port of 'internet '. Is this a problem?

Yes, I'd say it's generally a problem.  My opinion is that the SPA3102 was not designed/tested to make calls using the SPA3102 network premises and which could be the reason why you have audio problems.  You must be using the 'Internet' decision-making (WAN) and for the ip addresses using DHCP from the router or use a static ip address in the subdomain of your main router.

If you change the IP addresses, you need to adjust the ip addresses used in your direct ip call configuration.   You must use ip addresses that will not change over time, if the router is restarted.  The use of router is to route the packets between the ip address used for the SPA3102 and the PAP2T.  You are generally not required to configure a path between the two addresses.

In addition, you are running an earlier version of the SPA3102 (3.3.6) firmware. The current version of the firmware is 5.2.13 and can be download here:
https://software.Cisco.com/download/release.html?mdfid=282414112&SOFTWAR...

Make the above change and post a few new sip debug trace of problem calls and configurations showing the ip address changes.  The syslog posted show the title of the messages, but do not show the detail of the messages (Sip, Sip 200 OK, etc.).  Details will show the addresses by the call for audio.  Maybe a program different syslog can show detail.  Cisco has a simple windows pc program you can download here.

https://supportforums.Cisco.com/document/36921/using-slogsrvexe-utility

On the SPA3102 and the PAP2T System tab, you have an ip address for a syslog and a debug server.  You only need an ip address for the server to debug.

  • Creating ports FXS to using Extensions on the SPA3102 and PAP2T

    Dear all

We have a CISCO SPA3102 and a Cisco PAP2T adapter available at two of our branches. The two branches are connected via LAN. Need to configure the FXS ports on two branches to work as extensions on IP. Kindly let me know if this could use these devices or to buy the new device and how we can create plans of numbering on both devices. Reference diagram. I don't have a lot of experince work with VOIP so your support devices will be very useful.

    Concerning

    Muhammad

You can configure direct ip, calls between the two adapters.

The diagram shows the SPA3102 ip address is 20.20.20.5 and the PAP2T ip address is 20.20.20.10.

I would setup the SPA3102 with a username of 2001 and the PAP2T with a username of 2002.

When you pick up the phone attached, a dial plan of (<>[email protected]/ * /: 5060 > S0) on the SPA3102 should call line PAP2T configured with Sip Port 5060.

When you pick up the phone attached, a dial plan of (<>[email protected]/ * /: 5060 > S0) on the PAP2T must call the SPA3102 line 1 configured with Sip Port 5060.

I would like to change the port numbers sip on each adapter by default 5060 to something else, but that is not a requirement.

On each line adapter configuration you need to set enable component IP: Yes, call without Reg: Yes, and call without Reg: Yes. NAT Mapping Enable must be not on each card.

  • dial the SPA3102 how an RTC to my cell?

    Hi all

I found another thread on this topic but the link was broken to a former page sepura.

In any case, as the title says I need to transfer my PSTN calls to my cell phone after a few rings

im guessing im using the PSTN-to-VoIP gateway Setup? is anyone know what settings should I?

    Thank you

    Tim

I don't see any voip provider configured on the tab line PSTN, and I do not know 1234567890 is not your cell phone number.  The call is sent by the configuration on your PSTN line tab.

  • SPA3102 problem: State PSTN: still rings in the State

We got a new router Linksys SPA3102 VOIP gateway, and we have some problems to operate.

The SPA3102 is properly connected to the local network, but it seems to have problems with the incoming PSTN line.

However, it does not sound when I call the number RTC. On the other hand, State PSTN always says 'Ringing '...

When I restart the SPA3102, then the extension on the pbx sipx she must call rings (without anyone calling the PSTN number).

The status page says something like:

Voltage: 14 (V) loop current: 0.0 registration of (my) State: not recorded the last record to: next record in: last call VoIP number: [email protected] last call number RTC: last calling VoIP: last PSTN Caller:, last RTPC Disconnect reason: CPC Signal RTC activity Timer: 30000 (ms) mapped Port SIP: 5061 Type of call: VoIP Gateway call VoIP State: Idle PSTN State : ringer VoIP: tone RTC:

(Note: the bridge didn't need to register for the sipx-pbx).

While it fires after a reboot of the SPA3102, nothing happens when I dial my mobile PSTN - I hear only ringing on mobile (it says busy or more).

    Does anyone have advice?

    Andreas

It did not break. The problem was with the cable to connect to the UK British Telecom. I haven't used the gray wire that came with it, but used a telephone cord UK I had to hang out - bad move.

When we talk about Linuxemporium, there where I bought the SPA3102, I was made aware that the cable might be the problem. So I went on the road in a small phone shop to get a US - UK adapter (packaged with the SPA3102 is still an American cable), that didn't fix it. I had another well-known adapter from a retailer of Electronics UK, and that one has solved the problem. The SPA3102 fortunately now works as my PSTN gateway.

I hope this can help others with similar problems.

  • Transfer to PSTN calls on the SPA3102 VOIP does not work with voip providers who do not proxy outbond

I use the SPA3102 to transmit calls from PSTN to Voip network. Work very well with a local Voip provider calls Vono (www.vono.net.br), I think that this provider is the one who has the outgoing proxy. However, I would like to use the SPA3102 forwardin PSTN calls with other providers such as Freevoipdeal, VoipWise, VoipRaider etc... These suppliers have no outbound proxy. How can I get around this? According to the link below, you need to plan an outbound proxy. What should do?

    http://www.Cisco.com/en/us/products/ps10024/products_qanda_item09186a0080a359ae.shtml#q

For example, freevoipdeal voip provider guides that leave the field blank outgoing proxy as below.

    https://www.freevoipdeal.com/SIP

You can leave the outgoing Proxy field blank.  You do not have to have an entry in this field for the SPA3012 works correctly.

  • Transfer of two Home Office PSTN lines

    Hello

I'm a bit confused, because I am new to this sort of thing.

In my office, I have two PSTN lines and I would like to transfer to my house via a WiFi connection that is already established. I'm looking for the reliable solution plans. The research I've done so far, I think I need 2 FXS on the side of the House and 2-port FXO X on the side of the Office. I can install two SPA 2102 or SPA 3102 (new model) on the side of the Office and connect the two PSTN lines that I have here. I should connect to my WiFi router and configure them as two different Subscribers with two different IPs from my subnet. On my other WiFi router at home, I have to connect a LinkSys PAP2T, which has two FXS ports and taken there are two analog telephones.

    My questions are:

1 - is the above configuration sounds right?

    2. is there something I should know about in the configuration of the devices?

3 - is the PAP2T support two different Subscribers?

    4. will I CLI on analog lines at my home.

    5. where can I find information of such a configuration?

    Thanks in advance

  • SPA3102 - disable incoming PSTN

I have an SPA3102 I am putting in place so that

-ATA outgoing calls through voip (work)

-outgoing emergency calls 911, etc. are out by RTC (work)

-outgoing calls if VOIP connection downwards through the PSTN. (work)

I can't seem to find a way to have it ignore incoming PSTN calls.  I have this configuration in a suite of grandmother, as she makes calls sparingly, but we wanted to the PSTN where the voip connection is broken.  Now that I have everything set up, every time there is an incoming call on RTC, it sounds the phone on the ata...

Is there a way to disable this?

  • Phone connected to the SPA3102 rings not until reset

I configured successfully my SPA3102 to work with my VOIP provider.  But periodically when I call my VOIP phone number, it takes several seconds (10-15 seconds) until I hear ringing the phone "calling", and it sounds not at all on the receiver (connected to the SPA3102) phone.  I have no problem outgoing calls to my land line and display poster correctly call the VOIP number.

If I unplug and re-plug SPA3102 to elect. power outlet, this solves the problem.  I can dial my number VOIP and it sounds instantly.  But after some time, the problem comes back and I have to disconnect and reconnect.

Right now, I have only configured the parameters of the VOICE on the SPA3102.  Once I fix it, I will seek using the other features of this adapter.  All the settings are the default settings with the exception of sections: SubscriberInfo and Proxy/Reg.

    Any thoughts?

    Hello Pcaranci,

I recommend you to activate in the case (probably Line) tab:

    NAT Mapping Enable: YES

    NAT Keep Alive Enable: YES

  • Connect 2 or more phones to the SPA3102?

I have a gateway SPA3102 - out with router (engine).  Using a double adapter into the phone jack can I connect 2 phones to it without damage?

If I can do that is there a limit on the number of phones: 3, 4, or 5?

    Thank you.

    Rob

Yes, you can connect 2 phones without damaging the SPA3102 FXS port if their total REN will not exceed 3 - this device can handle up to 3 REN (Ringer equivalence number)

With most phones, the REN for the phone is printed on the phone itself (often in very small characters, however). Assuming you can find the REN of each phone (which varies generally between 0.1 and 2.0, depending on the type of phone), simply add the numbers (from all the connected phone line devices)

Probably more effective to just disable everything that is non-essential, reboot and see if that makes a difference.

  • A key using self-powered USB causes the base station go "off-line".

I found that by using a USB drive self-powered, as the WD My Passport, without a USB powered, hub attached to the base of the station USB port has caused the base station go "off-line". In fact, using a powered hub does not always remedy the situation, but it is more reproducible without one.

This is true for the AirPort Extreme and Time Capsule 802.11ac. The problem does not occur immediately, but it may happen over several days. The symptom is that the player is no longer lies in the Finder, or the base station appears in AirPort Utility.

My question is if others have had the same results? ... and did you find permanent solutions?

USB key "seems" less reliable on the airports of AC model than on previous versions.

I tend to not use USB attached to routers because I think it's convenient mediocre and poor speeds. But I tested with previous models, and it seems ok...

KT those a few posts here a me trial there. These are not self powered readers... who I have long recommended people avoid the use (without a powered hub)...

Re: External backup drive down regularly

In fact, the wire is different from what I remember... Age don't you know.

But I did the test on an AC TC. The result has been very reliable. He did not cause the TC to close... but I lost the connection of the USB almost every day... except for a trial where I kept the USB drive mounted in the Finder... so that the USB drive wouldn't turn it down. He then worked for a few weeks... until what the noise of rotation of disk (sitting next to me) drove me crazy... as soon as he was mounted is more, he would pass the same existence as before.

The previous model TC was barely big enough for the internal use of the power supply units. So powered car running disc was impossible.

Provide EI (GEN 1-5) at 1. 8A and 12v was adequate, but the standard USB port is estimated at 500 my wrong to manage disks free power.

You would certainly think AC 12v 5A power supply models would have a lot of power. Yet, power problems are a major problem still. Supply is extremely sensitive and stop easily for reasons I'm still to understand.

Where the long threads on power issues to the AE.

Now, I'm going to speculate... I think that SOME problems are associated with power.

What is the USB port side in airports of AC? Is it still 500ma? Apple never seem to give easy to find info on these details.

Do you know? I haven't measured it, but I can try timing the time it takes to charge a phone.  Assuming that it will immediately trigger.

Then he will have problems with a self-powered drive. Even if the drive has less energy than quotes, current during starting is much higher. The restriction of the power on the USB port is managed by a self regulator recovery... Once you triggered it, you must stop the power... then reboot the machine to restore power.

Then, I also did the test with hub powered... and like your results... It was better. Longer time between the drive disappears from the network. But it was not enough to stop it.

There is another interesting effect using self-powered hubs... I discovered this on a computer running Mac OS lets say! The computer would not start with a powered hub connected to the front USB. Hubs self-powered cheap, showing a defect in their design. They can refer to the USB port. In this computer, it was enough to stumble on the good power circuit and prevent the supply, commissioning... As long as the computer is running, everything was fine... but if I turned off it would not start. I finally woke up I had to exit the USB every time. At one point, I made a "special" Cup USB cable 5v line so the hub can stay connected. You can probably just to isolate the 5v of contact in the USB. Regardless of the configuration of power USB in the AE or TC is as you can assume she's sensitive enough... and at any time when the 5V on USB hub exceeds the 5V in AE it could trigger.

The symptom is that the player is no longer lies in the Finder, or the base station appears in AirPort Utility.

Endangered of AU base station is not uncommon.

I don't seem to be able to make a table name two lines.  You can use a box of text instead, while hiding the name of the table:

After having to erase all content and settings on my iphone5 I am not able to use it now I can just see the apple symbol and a line underneath.

I'm afraid this means that something was wrong during the process... Probably due to a corruption somewhere.

You can try to reset the phone to first - hold both home and power buttons until the phone will reboot and shows the Apple logo. ONLY release THEN the buttons.

Then give him 10 minutes to do its thing.

If she does not recover after that then you'll need to put the phone into restore mode and restore from scratch - iOS software essentially do a factory reset.

To do this connect the phone to a computer running iTunes, can do the same thing reset the process described above with the following change: once white screen immediately release the power button but keep now in the home button until the iTunes logo appears. Once that happens, iTunes will ask you a restore. Just follow the process and instructions to restore the phone.
