The spacing between a table and the edge of the page

For a table, instead she's px or more away from the left edge, can 2 you do it right up against the left edge?

Under Page Properties, change the left margin 0 pixels. Who must drag your page to the brim.

    What is the difference between a table and a subform in LC forms? Please post your answers about the merits and demerits of using subforms instead of tables.

    Hello

    a table is simply a set of subforms with a particular role.

    It is easier to handle the tables if they must be dynamic (add or remove lines, show or hide lines when page breaks appear etc..).

    And Designers UI has some dialogue prepared in the object palette to simplify the settings of the tables.

    For subforms, dialog boxes are more frequent, so you have yourself a little more script.

    But at least you can do everything with subforms as you can do with tables.

    The only one who is not very good with tables we work when you wrap arrays in other tables.

  • Add FK between a table and a view?

    Is this possible in 4.1 to add a FK between a table and a view (off of course)?

    If I'm in a view, it seems that I can define a FK to another view or a table, but if I start with a table, some views appear in the list. The view already has a defined PK.

    Is it normal?

    Use case: I have a table of generic code, so I'm set up views on the code for each type of code table. Then, I want at least diagram CF from specific code view of the code typed column on a table for the sub.

    Hello Kent,

    Is this possible in 4.1 to add a FK between a table and a view (off of course)?

    Yes.  You can do this by clicking on the icon of the new foreign key above the diagram, then by selecting the view first, then the table.

    I connected an enhancement request to allow a foreign key to a view to be added using the table properties dialog box.

    Thanks for pointing it.

  • Difference between routing tables and publish

    Hello

    My understanding of a Routing Table and the Table to publish is:

    Routing table: it is used to select the different routes for a service based on the results of an XQuery expression in a stream of messages.

    Table to publish: it is used to select the service target according to the results of an XQuery Expression.

    The two seem to work quite similar, but I guess that in the option table to publish the service for a branch is called asynchronously.

    Is this good? There is another difference between the two options?

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you
    Priya.

    Re: compare routing action against action Service legend against action to publish?

    Same differences between publish and route should be applicable for the table in the publication and the routing table.

  • Difference between external tables and sql * loader

    Hello

    Could you please tell me the difference between
    tables external and sql * loader

    I have serached on the net but did ' get correct idea

    Please help me

    1 SQL LOADER can be run on the network (from any client computer), external tables can't

    2. return to the Oracle 9, external Tables could not load CLOB/BLOB (Oracle10 changed it)

    3 oracle 11 external tables have preprocessor, which is pretty dam characteristic cool - running essentially any OS command e.g. decompress before external table run. What's even better is the fact that the result of the operating system command is the source of the outer table, which means that there are no required temporary file (unzip the tracks and the output is the source of the external table). There are several ways to great use this - look at my blog for samples rare http://jiri.wordpress.com/2010/01/19/no-more-unix-scripts-in-11-2/

    4. as long as the 009 stressed, filed external load anything, they show just. Think of it more as load on request - it's great if you have old files archived and one or two users what to see content once a while

    5. external tables require no user access to the operating system, it is oracle environment pure - this may seem minor but for me it's huge. The fact that the ETL needs no special unix, no control file command and uses the simple SQL and DDL is nice and important

    6. external tables can load more text files, Oracle export dump files can be loaded, perhaps in the future more formats will be supported (hopefully all right excel format?)

    now the same thing to kill the myth - the TWO are EXACTLY the same when it comes to speed, I would actually drive of the external tables before will be faster because sql loader is old technology oracle doesn't really develops more

  • Difference between ANALYZE TABLE and DBMS_STATS. GATHER_TABLE_STATS?

    DBMS_STATS. GATHER_TABLE_STATS ('hr', 'employees');

    The difference is that ANALYZE TABLE is obsolete for a long time and it's the wrong way of doing things.

  • two relationships between two tables

    Hi all

    I created a cube in my db (using OWB) of two relationships to my time dimension. A relationship shows the start time of a process, that the other represents the date of termination or end.

    example of the cube:

    Fact1
    Fact2
    Dim_Time1
    Dim_Time2

    where Dim_time1 and Dim_Time2 link to the same dimension.

    Unfortunately I have trouble this manually import in obiee administrator. I imported the fact table and the dimension of the physical layer table. Can I move to the business layer and create the two joins between two tables. But the overall consistency check up a mistake, I shouldn't have two relationships between two tables and remove a foreign key.

    What I am doing wrong?

    Kind regards

    Knut

    Knut,

    In your example, you should have a time dimension in the phyiscal layer and alias of this 2 x, for Dim_time1 and for Dim_time2, in this way aliases are separate tables as the BI server point of view and you define releations separate on the same table, you can define specific to each alias dim relevant time joins.

    In this way, you will have two time decreases intensity in MDB layer also, has 'Dim-Start Time' and a ' Sun - term time "or similar.

    Hope this helps,
    Alastair

  • Use a where clause clause if there is a relationship between two tables

    Is it possible to use a where clause clause if there is a relationship between two tables.
    I have a relationship between two tables:
    And a.customer = b.customer (+)

    If b.customer exists in a.customer I would add this in where clause
    And b.info = 'X '.
    But how?

    It's the outer joins by chance?

    If so, why not just:

    and  b.customer(+) = a.customer
    and  b.info(+) = 'X'

    BTW, I put the two "b" on the left column to make it easier to read. Some people mix that makes me crazy, but makes no difference to the query.

  • How to decrease the spacing between shapes and move the form to the top, what model creation brush?

    Hello world

    I am trying to create an external border for some tires and have a few questions about the model of brush.

    I created a solid form and then, with her, a brush model. But I don't want all this spacing between shapes, so is there a way to get rid of the spacing or DECREASE spacing altogether. Currently, it is set at 0%.

    Also, is there a way to raise the forms so that the basic lines of form are placed outside of the ellipse that is drawn? See first image below in the middle of forms at the intersection with the outline of the ellipse drawn.

    Thanks in advance :)

    Screen Shot 2013-06-18 at 3.12.12 PM.jpg

    Return to the brush model.

    1. drag the brush from the Panel forms.

    2. with the direct Selection tool or in, select the Panel layers no filling / n ° rectangle race which is located at the back of this group of brush.

    3. adjust (reduce) the width of the rectangle until you find a size that produces the desired gap.

    4. Select the shape of the brush and the no fill / no rectangle STROKE, Opt/Alt-drag on top of the original brush in the Panel shapes.

    Trial and error is valuable here until you see how it works. or you can use specific values.

    To align the bottom edge of the brush with the path:

    With no filling/no STROKE rectangle selected, as indicated above, move it down so that its horizontal axis coincides with the lower edge of the shape of the brush, then Opt/Alt-drag the brush and rectangle again in the Panel forms.

    Edit: As says Monika.

  • What is the difference between associative arrays and nested tables?

    Hello
    What is the difference between associative arrays and nested tables?

    nested tables cannot be indexed by other than pls_integer and unlike nested tables table associative cananot be declared at the schema level.

    is there any other difference set apart from the diff above 2?

    user13710379 wrote:
    What is the difference between associative arrays and nested tables?

    Name-value pairs (associative) against a list of values (table standard/nested table).

    nested tables cannot be indexed by other than pls_integer

    They are not "indexed" the way in which an associative array is indexed. A standard table is referenced by the position of the cell in the table. This position is essentially the offset of the memory of the cell from the start address of the table.

    Can not solve a cell in an associative array directly via a memory offset index. You place a cell reference value it by his 'name' (a search in the linked list/hash table).

    The following example shows the difference between the pairs of name / value and a list of core values.

    SQL> declare
      2          --// associative arrays are NAME-VALUE pairs
      3          type TArr1 is table of varchar2(10) index by pls_integer;

  • Problem with transmission of the data in table between a driver and a method.

    I'm having a problem with a project for school. We want to take the data in a table, we create in our driver, pass it to the method, do something for her and return the data to the driver. Well, I still get the same error message and after looking at dozens of sites, it seems that I think that I have the correct code... but I still get the same error message. Here is the error message that I've been doing.
    * ola1driver.java:35: get() in ola1method may apply to (char [] [])
    x.get (Dar);
    (upwards arrow pointing between x and get) *.

    I'd appreciate any help I'm leaving research to simply looking at my code to try to find the error. My wife things I'm going nuts at the moment.

    Here are my two files, the first is the driver and the second method

    Take a 2D array and send the data to a method, and then put it back
    import java.util.Scanner;
    class ola1driver
    {
    Public Shared Sub main (string args [])
    {
    Entrance to the parser = new Scanner (System.in);
    ola1method x = new ola1method();
    Char [] [] dar = new char [10] [100];
    char dat_input;

    Set up the loop at the entrance a table of 10 x 100 with data imported from a dat file
    for (int i = 0; i < 10; i ++)
    {
    for (int j = 0; j < 100; j ++)
    {
    dat_input = input.next () .charAt (0);
    Dar [i] [j] = dat_input;
    }
    }
    Send the array to the method and displays the original table to compare the return data
    x.Set (Dar);
    for (ip int = 0; ip < 10; ip ++)
    {
    for (int jp = 0; jp jp; < 100 ++)
    {
    System.out.printf ("%n", dar [ip] [jp]);
    }
    }

    To get the data of the method and then print the data in the table opposite
    x.get (Dar);

    for (int r = 0; r < 10; r ++)
    {
    for (int c = 0; c < 100; c ++)
    {
    System.out.printf ("%n", dar [r] [c]);
    }
    }
    }
    }

    Now the method;

    Method to receive a 2D painting, reverse the data and then put it back
    class ola1method
    {
    Char [] [] ar = new char [10] [100];
    Char [] [] rar = new char [10] [100];

    public void set (char [] [] ar)
    {
    / * To reverse the entries in the table
    to prove that real return
    data was transferred between the driver
    and the method * /
    IR int = 0;
    for (int i = 9; I have > 0; i-)
    {
    for (int j = 100; j > 0; j-)
    {
    int jr = 0;
    RAR [ir] [Jr.] is ar [i] [j];.
    Jr ++;
    }

    IR ++;
    }
    }
    Return the data to the driver
    public char [] [] get()
    {
    return of rar;
    }
    }

    I thought that I sent my method by using the x.set table, and then by calling the reversed with the x.get table.

    x.Set (someArray) in fact to 'send an array to the method '.

    And if x.get () is declared to return an array, then, Yes, it indeed 'retrieve a table. "

    However, these are two completely different methods. The get method doesn't know something on the table sent via the set method unless the game puts a place who knows himself. For example, something like this:

    public class X {
      private int[] arr;

      public void set(int[] arr) {
        this.arr = arr;
      }

      public int[] get() {
        reverse arr and return it
      }
    }

    public class Main {
      public static void main(String[] args) {
        int[] arr1 = {1, 2, 3};
        X x = new X();
        x.set(arr);
        int[] arr2 = x.get();
      }
    }

    However, this seems a bit unusual. It is not clear from your initial post, but looks like it is supposed to be a single method that takes the array and it reverses. If so, you could either simply invert the table and returns nothing, since the variable of the appellant and the parameter of the method will all be pointing to the same table object, or you could return a reference to the table that you have received and reversed, or you can copy the table, reverse the copy and return a reference to that.

    I don't know what your needs are, but the point is that it is more common to call a single method to do something like that, rather than separate set() and get() methods.
