the system configuration problem

I have Windows 8 and have been notified in my configuration of systems that all Microsoft services have been arrested. This creates a huge problem on my computer and I'm unable to re - turn on these, what can I do?

Hi Joegags,

Thanks for posting your query on the Microsoft Community.

I imagine the inconvenience that you are experiencing and will certainly help you in the right direction to solve the problem. However, I would be grateful if you could answer a few questions to refine the question in order to provide you with better assistance.

  1. You are logged as administrator account?
  2. Are you connected to any network domain anyway?
  3. Are you facing any other matter outside the activation of services?
  4. You have security software installed?

According to the description of the problem, you are unable to activate the services on your computer. It could if you have not logged under the administrator account, or you don't have the permission of the administrator. This could be if any of security software installed and it is limiting to activate the service.

I suggest you to try the methods provided below and see if it helps you to solve the problem.

Method 1

  1. Press the Windows key + R to open the run box.
  2. In the Run box , type msconfig.
  3. Click the services tab in the top navigation menu.
  4. Check the box indicating to enable all services.

If the problem persists, go to method 2

Method 2

I suggest that you run SFC scan on your computer to verify if all the system files work fine or not.

Scan SFC will be scans all protected system files and replaces incorrect versions with appropriate Microsoft versions.

How to use the System File Checker tool to troubleshoot missing or corrupted system files on Windows 8.

  1. Press Windows key and X at the same time.

  2. Choose line (Admin) command on the shortcut menu.

  3. At the command prompt, type sfc/scannow and press ENTER.

  4. Exit the command prompt.

For more information, refer to this link:

Use the System File Checker tool to repair missing or corrupted system files

http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929833/en-us

Method 3

Temporarily disable the security software, and then try to reactivate services.

Note: Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you should not disable your antivirus software. If you need to disable temporarily to install other software, you must reactivate as soon as you are finished. If you are connected to the Internet or a network, while your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attack.

Hope it would help. If problem persists always post back with the current state of your computer and the result of the proposed suggestion, we will be happy to help you.

Kind regards

I have Windows 7, my computer does not start. I did the Startup Repair and he won't fix it. I did the system configuration information. and that did not help. What to do now? The comment of Bios makes me fear that it could damage my computer forever. What should do? Help, please

    Hi Alan,

Thanks for posting your query in Microsoft Community.

    I understand that the computer does not restart even after running Startup Repair and I will be happy to answer your query. I appreciate the efforts made to try to make it work. Let me ask you;

    • How do you run the Startup Repair?
    • Do you have Windows 7 repair disc?
    • Remember to no particular change in the computer before the show?
    • Have you plugged an external equipment, except the keyboard and mouse?
    • You are able to start the computer in safe mode?
    • What is the brand and model of the computer?

Note: BIOS change / semiconductor (CMOS) to complementary metal oxide settings can cause serious problems that may prevent your computer from starting properly. Microsoft cannot guarantee that problems resulting from the configuration of the BIOS/CMOS settings can be solved. Changes to settings are at your own risk.

There could be several reasons why he's not leaving including hardware as well. In addition, it could be because the master boot record (MBR) has been damaged. When you try to use the Startup Repair tool to repair the MBR, the Startup Repair tool indicates that no problem was found or it does not work yet.

If you have any connected USB flash drive or other external devices connected to the computer, if you please, remove them and try to run the Startup Repair tool.

If you haven't tried using Windows 7 repair disc, you can try the following:

    1. Insert the Windows 7 disc
    2. restart your computer
    3. When asked if you want to boot from your DVD player, do it.
    4. Select your language, click Next.
    5. click on repair your computer
    6. Select the operating system you want to repair.

You can also perform the system restore by selecting the restore point when you think it worked very well. System Restore, choose advanced options using the disc.

Important: When you use system restore to restore the computer to a previous state, the programs and updates that you have installed after this date are deleted.

I also recommend to contact the computer manufacturer to get the done diagnostic equipment.

Hope this information is useful. Please feel free to answer in the case where you are facing in the future other problems with Windows.

For me, the problem was intermittent (same registry key would sometimes cause the issue and sometimes not - must be corrupted sometimes) so it was impossible to tell what program it was.  Fortunately, there is a newspaper, you can watch that will tell you exactly what registry key is slightest mistake out.  Here are the steps to get the newspaper, you must see:

When you see the error message, follow these steps:

1.) press SHIFT + F10 to get to a command prompt

    2.) stand C:\windows\Panther

3.) find the Setup.etl file and find a way to copy this file out of the system (I copied it to the partition D:\ and Ghost used to collect this partition and down the file)

4.) copy the file to another computer that has Windows 7 setup.etl corrupt system.  Place it at the root of C:\ for easier access.

5.) open a prompt on the Windows 7 computer.

6.) navigate to the root of C:\ (or anywhere where you saved the file)

    7.) type "tracerpt setup.etl o logfile.csv.

8.) close command prompt and open logfile.csv in your text editor of choice.

9.), look in the log file (near the end, probably) for messages that say "Failed to key"reg"process or one of its descendants" to me, the exact eror looked like this: "failed to process the"reg"key or one of its descendants: [profile \REGISTRY\MACHINE\SOFTWARE\ESET\ESET Security\CurrentVersion\Plugins\01000200\Profiles\@My] ' If you search for"«key reg"' or «failed in the process»»» You should find the failure.

10.) remove this software from your image, or how to get the registry key that does not work properly.

After that, you should be able to correctly identify any key problem and the elimination/workaround on your image.

  • How to check the system configuration of the SX20 if the touch screen and the remote control does not work

Hello friends, would like to know how can we access/check the system configuration of the SX20 if we not touch and remote control or they are not in working condition.

I think that we can check this Switch interface, but unfortunately, I don't have access to the local switch right now.

    Hello

option is to have access to the local switch and run "show cdp neighbors detail."

    or

  • The system configuration does not

I am running windows 7 and decided to try and resolve messages running and (does not) slow programs. I started to perform a clean boot, but when I had made the changes to the configuration window and clicked on OK the said title bar system (not responding) after waiting a considerable amount of time, I have not quit. When I return to the system configuration window, nothing has changed, but now my PC guard just hung in the system configuration window. The computer is now worse than when I started. I had not done something before.

The first thing I recommend is to restore and filled to half of the changes that have been made with the System Restore utility. First to save open documents and close all programs and then click Start (or press the Windows key) and type s·ymakeUPS·e·Mr r·emakeUPS·o·r·e then select System Restore programs from the list above. When the system restore starts, click Next and choose the most recent restore point that precedes your attempt to create a boot environment. Follow the rest of the procedure described in this article.

    Restore system files and settings

Once you have recovered your computer to its state before the attempt to establish a clean boot environment, start with an analysis of malware using a free scan like MalwareBytesanti-malware utility.

It comes as part of the standard offers free and paid-for versions. For standalone scans and malware removal (but not real time analysis), the free version is usually more than enough.

  • Change the system configuration and yet no difference in config

    This question is about a router CISCO1941/K9, Version 15.0 (1r) M15.

My question is: How can I determine WHAT system configuration has been altered?

As far as I know, the only thing changed is the Terminal length that I occasionally switches for use with the recording of session with PuTTY, which is

    Terminal length 0.

This router has been in production for months and I don't want to break anything (obviously).  I need to make a change to the configuration of the access-list and wanted to protect me by saying to reload in 4, and then I was probably cancel about 1 minute.  But now I'm worried about it save yes/no question.

    Thank you.

    Hello

Just save config running and configuration of boot in text files and compare them. Have you enabled all logging on the router?  It may be because of this.

Just make sure that your configuration register is 0 x 2102. You can see by the show version command

  • Features of Installation of Windows 7 software service stops responding when the system configuration

I noticed that Windows 7 RTM (all versions, x 86 / x 64) has a bug on its features to Software Installation service which causes updates Windows hang during setup of the system (i.e. Windows is stuck on the message "preparing to configure Windows - do not turn off your computer"). M$ suggests to perform a repair with system restore or re - install the operating system from scratch, but is not an effective solution.

Given that Microsoft has published 5 updates for setup of functionality of software on Vista, I wonder why they don't release a similar patch for Windows 7?

  • How can I find what I need at startup of the computer programs, I went to the System Configuration, but do not know what to uncheck to stop running when the computer is started

I ran a report on my computer, in case of problems.  It detected that I needed to verify in the Configuration of the system on the programs that were running at the start of the computer.  I have several here I will list who is here, and maybe someone can tell me that I don't need at start-up.

    1 Microsoft Security by Microsoft

2 updater Java (TM) Platform SE Auto by Sun Microsystems

3 Localnet Express 3.0 - propel Software Corp. (Localnet is my provider and this express is supposed to help my computer go to websites faster)

4 Roc_Roc_NT_unknown-AVG safe search (I was told I didn't need AVG antivirus, so I deleted it out)

    5. default manager by Microsoft

6 adobe Acrobat from Adobe Systems

7 adobe Reader by Adobe Systems

    8 AVG Tray-unknown

I hope someone can help me with this takes 15 min for a loading site approx. 30 to load the game after I finally get it, then the game is frozen and won't do anything.  Even for all other sites, I'm at my wits end and don't know what to do.  I have dial up and Windows 7.  Just started having problems after getting this new service provider.

    Hello Wanda.

One command, but lets see what we can do to whittle the list down. First, dial-up internet connection is slow, so keep that in mind that we work here.

Second, almost all your startup programs are valid and advised to load at startup of Windows. Some possible changes:

    (1) If you need not a specific to Java, such as might have the game that you are trying to play, so you don't need to have it is launched at startup.

    (2) regarding the Adobe programs, why do you have Acrobat on your computer? Do you need to create PDF files? Adobe Reader which has many freeware alternatives that are faster, used to read PDF files. So if you need only to read PDF files, you can stop Acrobat from loading at startup.

    (3) other startup programs are all legitimate. And remember, just because you do not start a program at startup, does not mean that you cannot start later if you find that you don't need it.

    (4) the problems you encounter to "all sites that you visit" could be a function of malware. You don't have AVG Antivirus running on your computer just? I recommend do you a scan in depth and then put in quarantine and remove any infections it finds.

    (5) after you run the virus scan, I suggest that you try to download and run these two scanners. First MalwareBytes' Antimalware, here: http://download.cnet.com/Malwarebytes-Anti-Malware/3000-8022_4-10804572.html.  Secondly, SUPERAntiSpyware, here: http://download.cnet.com/SuperAntiSpyware-Free-Edition/3000-8022_4-10523889.html. Quarantine and remove all infections they find.

    (6) after doing this, restart your computer and see how it works. Please post your results here, and if you have any questions during this process, post here and I'll help you. Let me know how you fare.

    Kind regards

Hi, I'm trying to get my new laptop of wifes of configure. It's a L500D.

I chose 64-bit and all I get now is system configuration. Then it will come in saying we need restart to install the drivers? has been doing this for about 30 minutes now, is there somethig wrong or is this normal?

It's the 10th time, it has gone and done that.

    Hi Ryan,

I have the same Satellite L500 which is similar to yours and that of s. The laptop restarts often enough until the installation is complete. That s not unusual, it is necessary to install all drivers and tools you need.

So I hope you didn t stop or cancel this installation. Just wait a little longer and during this procedure, you can drink coffee and watch TV! ;)
