  How do I get the table cells?

  You can access the table using ITableModel and GridAddresscell.

  But to get to the ITableModel since ITextModel implies some complexity.

  Few things to understand:

  -L'interface that corresponds to the written document is ITextModel

  -The recommended method to iterate tables in a story done by ITextStoryThreadDictHier

  -Get the ITextStoryThreadDictHier on the history and the main thread as ITextStoryThreadDictHier::NextUID()

  -Now get ITextStoryThreadDict for UID and query for ITableModel. If you get ITableModel, then you have found the table.

  Once you have ITableModel you can get ITableCell as follows:

  ITableModel:QueryCellContentBoss(GridAddress); Give ITableCell

  You can refer to SnipperRunner (SnpManipulateTextModel).

• background in the table cell alignment does not work

  So I have one one line, a 2 column table.  In the second/last column, I have an image which must be low and stalled on the right.  However, no matter what I do, I can't image to sit at the bottom of the cell.

  If I add columns and move the image to one of the Interior columns, it aligns bottom, but if I then delete the column to the right (so that the image is now, once again, in the last column) once again the image is not aligned.

  I tried to give the image a negative margin of down, but that does not work.

I have a pc with access to this MX200, but the browser is not compatible, so I'm unable to download the image custom through the web interface. I'm looking for the file where I can transfer the file png via winscp and then run a command via SSH to use the custom image. I found a site that has the background images, but it is read-only and I do not think it is the right one. Any help is appreciated.

  1) go to SnpIterTableUseDictHier.cpp.

• Copy the table data (including images) of InDesign to Excel (or other formats such as RTF)

  We have a problem trying to get data to InDesign to Excel.

  He has this price list in InDesign, with images and small "icons" (also images) that indicate which element appears under the main image for each row in the table. Each line of 'table' can contain a number of elements, separated by return cart + line break or a similar combination.

  The problem is that we can't get good data and images appear in any other editable format. Copy and paste directly into Excel was still the most successful, but here the images are lost. Export to PDF and Acrobat Pro, exporting to other formats always seem to fail in a way or another (paintings take place on top of the other, images and so on, has lost different for the different export formats).

  

  Data copied to OpenOffice Calc (and then saved as a file in excel format). Yellow areas added to show where the images were in InDesign.

  Are there good ideas how to copy the InDesign table to another editable format (which requires no licenses Adobe...)?

  I didn't notice the direct export from InDesign to RTF. You had to put the cursor within the story make this option appear!

  APDivs (formerly known as layers) are NOT the best approach for this.  Here's why:

  (2) a text on a complex background image alignment is futile.  It is a concept of impression that Won't hold up on web pages because you can't control the browser settings, the screen or the text sizes.

  (3) height is a restriction in all browsers except IE.  Don't use values of height on containers with text inside them because this will inevitably cause failures when the text size is increased or amount of content exceeds the available space.

  (4) if necessary to show a background image, use the min-height CSS property.

  I created a gradient (a gray color that goes blank) and I use it as a background image. Everything is great, except for one page, which is very long. On this page, the gradient looks terrible b/c he jumps abruptly from white to dark gray.

  We need to navigate a path for each row in the table control. Is it possible to have a hyperlink in a table for each row cell? or do I have to use button battery to do the same thing?

  The answer is, you can't. However, the custom hyperlink control is open-source. You can find the source in toolslib\custctrl\hyperlinkctrl.c. It's a pretty simple code module, so it is not all that difficult to modify this code so that it could work in a table cell, rather than a message text control.
