The text color of a menu item

How can I change the color of the text in each different text box in my bar menus vertical spry?

Let's say that my menu items A to D and I want the text in each of them a different color.  How do I do that?

Can someone tell me if I need to change a property existing spry - or Add a property to one of the categories existing css spry.

Thank you

Assign ID to individual subsections of the menus, define the CSS by ID, not by class rules.

    Hi David,

    For now, try to update the display drivers and see if it helps you to solve the problem. Drivers are updated occasionally. Windows can update automatically, or you can install the drivers updated yourself. It is important for you to have confidence in the updated drivers that you install. Windows warns you if it detects a suspicious or dangerous driver, you should not install.

    You can visit the article provided below to update the drivers. If in the Device Manager, it stipulates that drivers are up to date and then try to update the drivers from the manufacturer's website.

    Download and install the drivers

  • Change the text color with the eyedropper tool

    I've seen cc Photoshop tutorials where you can change the text color by using the eyedropper tool on the color swatch Panel. When the text is selected and the color swatch Panel is open. When I chose is which color I want out the color swatch Panel all them it does to change the foreground color and return to the soil box, why it changes the color of the text, as I have seen in tutorials?

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thank you

    When highlighted often is difficult to tell what color the text. You can work around this by doing the above, pressing ctrl-H or cmd - H on the keyboard and the highlight will be removed, but the text remains selected. Its exactly the same procedure that you use to make the mobile dotted lines disappear just leaving an active selection. Obviously the text tool must be still in use for all this to work with text.

  • Change the background color for a selected item in a ListView?

    Hello

    No idea how to change the color of tbackground of a ListView selected item to blue for a different color?

    I tried wrapping the ListView in a container, then by changing the background color of the container, but it does not work. And ListView, nor the ListItemComponent takes a background attribute.

    Thank you

    Oh, I did that last night.
    Thus, in the container for StandardItem, add this line:

     background: ListItem.selected || ListItem.active ? Color.create("#4D9EC9") : Color.Transparent

    and onTriggerred of the signal, add two lines:

    // for highlighting

    listView.clearSelection();

  • How to fix so that the background makes the text color?

    I'm creating a logo for a friend. And I need to get the color of the background in the color of the text. But I have no idea on how to do it. Someone at - it ideas?

    So basically, I need to take the forms but keep the color in the text.

    help1.png

    Simon,

    You can keep the direct Type (no need to present the text), and then simply select all (no need to group together the underlying objects), then object > clipping mask > make (Ctrl/Cmd + 7).

    If you want to have the strokes on the letters, deselect, then click anywhere on the guy with the direct Selection tool and apply to the race.

  • The text color changes to black when I turn on a light - why?

    I did a demo of AE text various layers in a simple 3D space for I can have the camera press text layer, then turn/spin to another, etc. Kind of a cliché, I know.

    Anyway, everything worked fine with the camera, the background, text layers suspended in space at different angles, etc. I selected the text in each text layer and changed the color from black to red. But when I added a spot light, the text was black once again, not red. Regardless of how I moved the autour spot, I could not get the text layer to stay red. I know there is a reason for this, but I don't know what it is, or how to achieve the effect I want. Thanks in advance!

    The reason is that the light does not shine on the text.

    Three solutions:

    1 direct the light to the text

    2. Add a new light and shine on the text

    3. twirl in the properties of the text layer and set it on not affected by the fires of the model.

  • The text color will appear washed out when written in the text boxes. Help?

    As you can see in the first picture, the color of my text becomes faded as it moves to the next text box. I got the color of real black text of the text on the left by copying and pasting my text at random (do not paste in a text box). It seems that when the text is placed in a text box (as seen in the 2nd and 3rd images), it automatically searches faded.

  • Some parts of the text color change?

    How can I take a text and select different parts of the text to change the color for the selected party?

    Thank you.

    Depends on. You could do it with a gradient, which would allow you to keep the direct text, but you will need to do a bit of hoop jump to do. Not too much, but your question made me think to your probably not yet to the level of comfort with the Illustrator requires this hoop jump.

    So instead, you'll need transform the text to outlines and then cut it into pieces and pieces of color. When you do this however, you should know that the text is no longer text, it is art and therefore cannot be changed.

    Select the text

    Put contours by typing the command-shift-O (Ctrl-shift-O on PC)

    Select the knife tool in Control Panel tool (not the slice tool, which looks like an exacto blade, but the knife tool that looks like a steak knife. It is hidden under the Eraser tool)

    Drag the tool knife through your letters, making sure to start and stop outside the letters if you cut all the way through.

    Use the direct Selection tool, select the songs you want to color and choose the appropriate color swatch.

    Ta-Da

    Hope that helps,

    Michael

  • How to change the text color in CS4

    Hey everybody. I know I'm not comfortable in Dreamweaver, but had DW8 before moving to CS4 and I'm pretty handy with it. In version 8, if I wanted to change a text color, I simply highlighted text and choose a color. No worries.

    However in CS4, I seem to be only have this ability in my CSS, (not the HTML properties) properties. Then, when I try to change the color, it gives me a dialog box asking questions such as 'new CSS', 'for this page only", etc. and I don't understand what I'm supposed to do.

    Can someone tell me in a friendly way (step by step) how to change just one color of text on a page? I went to help and he said to use the color picker, but brings back me to my original problem.

    I'm either something terribly wrong or ADOBE did a simple task in the brain surgery!

    Thanks in advance for the help!

  • The text color value window Reset

    Hi, I bought an apple 30 '' for a project and it has sold. Now my problem is that window 'Text color set' is somewhere off the coast of my small screen 1280 x 1024 and I do not know how to reset it to its place.

    Try to reset your preferences, as described in the FAQ.

    http://forums.Adobe.com/thread/375776?TSTART=0

    You must physically delete (or rename) the preference files or, if you use the Alt, Ctrl, and shift, don't forget you get a confirmation dialog box.

    This resets all settings in Photoshop default.

  • The synchronized application: creation of menu items for each call to makeMenu SQLite?

    A matter of design, which is a good implementation of the following?

    My requirements are:

    1. Have a different menu for each screen.
    2. The battery of the screen will be high both a single screen.
    3. To switch screens, the user must use the menu.

    I created the menu for each screen by the following:

    protected void makeMenu(Menu menu, int instance) {
    super.makeMenu(menu, instance);
    Database db = null;
    try {

      db = ResourceManager.getConnection(true);
      mCoffeeDao = new FlavshellDao();
      mTabDao = new FlavmDao();

      if (instance == Menu.INSTANCE_CONTEXT) {
          Bitmap logoWbg = Bitmap.getBitmapResource(resource
                  .getString(ScoreCenterResource.logo));
          Image image = ImageFactory.createImage(logoWbg);

          gMenu.setIcon(image);
          nMenu.setIcon(image);
          aMenu.setIcon(image);
          shMenu.setIcon(image);
          avMenu.setIcon(image);
          logoMenu.setIcon(image);

          menu.add(gMenu);
          menu.add(nMenu);
          menu.add(aMenu);
          menu.add(shMenu);
          menu.add(avMenu);
          menu.add(logoMenu);
      }

      if (instance == Menu.INSTANCE_DEFAULT) {
          menu.add(logMenu);
          menu.add(exitMenu);

          shell = mCoffeeDao.findAll();

          for (int i = 0; i < shell.length; i++) {

              /**

               * top of the menu screen.

              item = new FlavMenuItem(m.getPk(), m.getFlavortitle(),
                      200 + i);
              menu.add(item);
          }

          String[] params = {
              Integer.toString(this.mCoffeePk)
          };
          Flavm[] m = mTabDao.findByDynamicWhere("FLAVOR = ?",
                  params);

          if (m.length > 0) {
              for (int j = 0; j < m.length; j++) {
                  if (m[j] != null) {
                      Flavm specificMenu = m[j];
                      item = new FlavMenuItem(specificMenu.getPk(),
                              specificMenu.getTitle(), 100 + j);
                      menu.add(item);
                  }
              }

              menu.add(MenuItem.separator(105));
          }
      }

    } catch (FlavshellDaoException e) {
      Logger.logEventError(e.getMessage());

    } catch (FlavmDaoException e) {
      Logger.logEventError(e.getMessage());

    } finally {
      try {
          db.close();
      } catch (DatabaseException e) {
          Logger.logEventError("Menu Database error: " + e);
      }
    }

    I created a database with a single link object read in the following text:

    public synchronized static final Database getConnection(
        final boolean readOnly) {
    Database db = null;
    try {
        URI userFileURL = URI.create(System
                .getProperty("fileconn.dir.memorycard")
                + resource.getString(CoffeeHouseResource.db_path)
                + resource.getString(CoffeeHouseResource.db_name));

        db = DatabaseFactory.open(userFileURL, readOnly);

    } catch (MalformedURIException e) {
        Logger.logError("Get connection: URI: " + e.getMessage());
    } catch (ControlledAccessException e) {
        Logger.logError("Get connection: Controlled Access: "
                + e.getMessage());
    } catch (DatabasePathException e) {
        Logger.logError("Get connection: Database Path: "
                + e.getMessage());
    } catch (DatabaseIOException e) {
        Logger.logError("Get connection: Database IO: "
                + e.getMessage());
    } catch (Exception e) {
        Logger.logError(e.getMessage());
    }
    return db;
    }

    My question is,

    • If the user to call the menu as happening in any other activity database (SQLite), making the synchronized method will prevent database locks?
    • Should I design my makeMenu got a call from the database at all? It seems to me that all this works, this could potentially cause a lot of traffic on the SQLite database?
    • I thought to move the menu to a vector and storing the menu in storage Runtime, but I read that the Runtime Storage has the memory leak issues?

    Your basic design principles seem well - I have a number of applications that actually have "tabs" screens, so clicking on a tab or using the menu swaps from one screen to the other.  You can just push the new screen and pop, that. In fact, here's a menu from a screen, that I am currently working:

    _StatsMenu MenuItem = new MenuItem ("Stats", 110, 10) {}
    public void run() {}
    UiApplication.getUiApplication () .pushScreen (new StatsScreen (System.currentTimeMillis (), 0));
    UiApplication.getUiApplication () .popScreen (BaseScreenWithToolBar.this);
    }
    };

    While I haven't looked in detail, but your code dangerous look.

    I've never tested, but I suspect makeMenu is called using the EventThread.  Doing things like database connections in this method will cause you problems.  Do not.  If you need to query the database, do so before makeMenu is called.  Starts a separate Thread and set the appropriate menus if this Thread is not finished.  or block the user interface, until he made.

    In addition, I wouldn't do it in makeMenu:

    Bitmap logoWbg = Bitmap.getBitmapResource (resource
    .getString (ScoreCenterResource.logo));
    Image image = ImageFactory.createImage (logoWbg);

    You can do it once to the creation of the screen, or better yet, once at startup and save it in a shared domain.

    If you do not want to create a dynamic menu, then use the normal persistent store - or check out the details for the database once at startup and use them after that RAM.

    And avoid lifting heavy objects in makeMenu.

    I hope this helps.
