  I use Lightroom 5 years. I bought a subscription of photography CC with the intention to upgrade, but I never have. I decided to stop my subscription CC because I never upgraded all the products I used. I just continued to use LR 5.

  I cancelled my subscription to the CC. This morning when I opened the LR5, it shows that my develop module has been disabled. I do not understand because LR5 is a licensed product is not part of the CC. I don't know why I now have limits on my LR catalog.

  I called and they said that they offer no support for LR 5 so they directed me here.

  Everyone knows this? Advice on how to get my LR 5 working again?

  Licensing for 5 Lightroom seems to be corrupted, I recommend you follow the steps in this link: How to convert a trial of Lightroom Lightroom CC 6 This link is for 6 of Lightroom, but the method to serialize a product remains the same so it should help solve the problem.

  Just in case it still does not work, please uninstall and then Lightroom 5 of your and reinstall it by downloading it from the link below:

  Looks like you open an older LR catalog, perhaps a backup catalog file. This would explain the 'leak' records when you work in LR, because they never were in the oldest catalogue. Who is?

  Use Windows Explorer to search the drive for .lrcat and see if you can find a more recent catalog file.

  Please try and delete preview Cache.

  It is located in the same folder as the catalog in Lightroom. The name of the cache an extract ends with Previews.LRDATA and should be deleted. Not to be confused with *. LRCAT, which should not be deleted

  Default location should folder of the image.

  This could mean that Lightroom CC is not supported on your machine.

  Is - this machine is 64 bit or 32 bit?

  The LR5, I edited a shot in PSE8 and recorded a few versions as TIFF (more that I need, but that's another subject!).

  LR5 automatically cataloged these TIFFs very well.

  But when I saved the last change in PSE8 as a JPG , it does not appear in the catalog. The JPG is placed on the record, so I went to import it, but LR5 does not show in the grid to import for the folder. In the import screen, as expected, all the other shots so I saved TIFF appear grayed out because they are on the catalogue. But a new not catalogued is not shown.

  I just want to keep track of the JPG that was based on a cataloged TIFF. Y at - it a trick to simplify the use of a Publisher to run the LR5?

  Is the original source for the tiff and jpeg files a raw file?

  She draws from the LR, go to:

  Edit > preferences > general (tab)

  Lightroom > preferences > general (tab) on Mac OS x

  Try to put a tick in the box to process jpeg & raw as separate files. Does make a difference?
