There should be no problem, as long as you use a single wireless device. If you want a connection wi - fi and cellular iPad, the guarantee would be specific to the United States. A wi - fi connection must have the guarantee honoured in India. This question may be better providers allowed in India.

  • dv2416us bought in the United States, in India

I bought a HP Pavilion dv2416us year last Septemberi in the USA. The laptop does not light and when it does after hours, wireless network does not work, the pc gets really hot after a few mintues. HP is aware of this problem and offer free repairs. I contacted Hp India, they said that as the product was purchased in the United States they don't repair it. Does anyone have an idea who should I contact to get HP to consider the setting of this laptop.

If Hp will fix it, what is the cause of the problem, so I can go fix it locally? I'm hoping that Hp will review their decision, as this seems to be a major problem with all of the dv2000 series.

    Thank you

    Amir

Bad mobo for your model, HP has Improvement of Service guarantee limited HP

However, since you are in different countries, you must send it to your family or friends in US.

or buy the new mobo in India or ebay.

  • Can we use Chargers MagSafe in the United States in India

MagSafe charger the usa can be used in India. Do we need a separate voltage converter? Or just a socket converter is sufficient?

Just the sleeve-end converter.  The block itself automatically detects voltage.

  • T400 customized with warranty in the USA and Europe

    Hi all!

In Spain, I'm going to be in the United States for a while and then travelling from Europe to the USA a few months. I would buy a T400 with display LED WXGA +, webcam, ATI 3470 and PCMCIA slot. In Spain he has unique laptop with that spec, those who display have the ATI or pccard housing with the ATI and the PCMCIA slots is not the WXGA + and the camera, and you can not choose any kind of portable custom... However, all the Spanish ones I could find were also guaranteed in the United States.

So I came with the USA Lenovo's online store, you will choose your laptop as you wish (Finally, right now, they have not the WXGA + LED display with the camera), but looks like they offer only the machine "2764" for the T400, without warranty in Europe. However in the Lenovo UK online store also would change the 2764 WITHOUT WARRANTY IN UK?

    So my questions are:

    1. does anyone know if the 2764 has service warranty in Europe (al least UK) or not?

2 - If you buy the laptop online in the USA shop, always send you the 2764?

is 3 - possible to order another type of machine, setting up custom and guaranteed valid in Europe?

4 - anyone know what LED WXGA + and the camera will be available again (it's in the shop online UK now)?

Someone suggested that the 2764 is not guaranteed in Europe to avoid buying from Europe, but which has no sense for me because there are other models in the webshop with warranty in Europe (such as the R400).

Regarding the specifications of systems, I want to buy, in case someone knows if there is a portable "pre-configured" with her (although not appearing only not to the expedition of Tabuk, I already checked) and European security:

    Intel Core 2 Duo processor P9500 (2,53 GHz 1066 MHz 6MBL2) 25W
    14.1 WXGA + (1440 x 900) TFT, w / backlight LED and camera
ATI Mobility Radeon 3470 with 256 MB
    2 GB PC3 - 8500 DDR3 SDRAM 1067 MHz SODIMM Memory (1 DIMM)
UltraNav (TrackPoint and TouchPad) with fingerprint reader
160 GB hard disk drive, 5400 RPM
Without hard disk Turbo Memory cache
DVD recordable 8 x Max dual layer, Ultrabay Slim (Serial ATA)
Express Card Slot & slot for PC card (without memory card reader)
    Integrated Bluetooth PAN
Intel WiMAX/WiFi Link 5350 (AGN) with my WiFi technology
Integrated AT & T (3G) Mobile Broadband card
Battery Li - ion 4 cells

Thanks for your help and your time!

  • Apple stores in the Canada, they do a free diagnostic as in the USA?

The stores Apple, service engineering, doing a free diagnosis, as they do in the USA?

Are they reliable - can - we be assured the job is really necessary?

As far as I know, all the Apple stores on the planet will be a free diagnostic. They are as reliable as any diagnostic test may be on modern hardware. They do not catch everything, but they tell me will be most of the time. With respect to the work that is actually necessary, based on the results of diagnostics, Yes. It is necessary. Apple employees are not paid a commission or incentive to recommend unnecessary work somehow.

  • iPhone 5 with Canadian SIM a battery life short when in the USA

I have an iPhone 5 with SIM card from a Canadian supplier (Koodo, the cheaper version of Tellus).

When I travel to the USA, I noticed a much quicker battery discharge rate, approximately 1.5% per hour, when I use the phone in the Canada.

In the USA, I disable cell and remove most of the applications of memory and minimize location services. Nothing seems to help.

When the last in America, I removed the SIM tray and battery drain rate is back to normal!

Why iOS even converses with the SIM card when cellular service is disabled in the settings?

Any suggestions? Remove the SIM card is a bit of a pain!

Check the settings > farm to find out which applications consume more battery.

  • How can I use UK iMac to the power of the USA?

I'm moving for a year of UK/Ireland to a country in the Caribbean that uses of the U.S.. taken of current and voltage (so the tracks USA bought electrical goods).

I have a UK bought iMac that I prefer to take with me to buy a new mac USA-system that I needed only for a year.

Is there an easily achievable and affordable way to hang my UK mac up to an adapter to run on a system of the USA, in the same way that I could return at the top of the UK tour?

If so, what should I buy?

Thanks in advance for your suggestions and comments.

You don't need a new computer.   You will need the adapter to the plug, that's all.   Mac run on any voltage from 100 to 250.   You will be able to buy tha adapter of any electric store.

I believe you can buy adapters to travel in any store of large 'Boots '.

  • Satellite Pro A120 adapter works in the USA?

I'm leaving on a trip to the United States on business, and I don't know if I have to buy a new network for my laptop power converter.
What is the standard converter that comes with the work of A120 in the States? Or will puff up my laptop if I try to use it?
    Thank you

    Hello

I think you can use it also in the USA.
    The adapter supports the voltage 100-240 v and s 4A, 60W.

It s adapter a universal AC and must operate in the U.S. but I think you need an adapter because the fittings are a little different.
