  I try to create a list of digital control and would have put cells highlight according to a corresponding value in another cell.

  For example, I would like cell D2 to white if the cell H2 is FALSE, or if the values of H2 is TRUE, I would D2 to be green. I want this for about 20 lines.

  Conditional highlighting rules depend on comparing the value contained in the cell to be highlighted (D2) with a second value. The second value may be fixed (recorded in the rule) or may be contained in a cell of the second.

  In your scenario, the highlight would be independent of the value in D2.

  There are two ways to accomplish what you want using conditional highlighting, highlighting a third cell whose value depends on the value in H2 and whose pointing out will be seen as highlighting of the D2, OR by providing a third cell whose value can match or does not match the value in D2 , the value of H2.

  Since you want to highlight only a single cell, and not a group of cells, the second method is probably more simple here.

  

  Each cell in the column I contains the following formula, entered in I2, and filled then down on the rest of the column:

  I2: = IF (H, D, "xxx")

  English: If the cell in this row of column H is set to TRUE (enabled), copy the value in this row of column D to this cell. If not, put "xxx" in this cell.

  'xxx' can be any value that will be ever present in the cells in column D.

  The below table conditional formatting rule is placed in cells D2 - D10. The cell reference is to the cell "this rank" in column I and is different for each cell.

  As the text in the cell is stored in the database of planning, you can try to change the storage of the cell text column in the planning of the relational database tables.
  Essbase only stores a number reference in the text of the cell.

  You can easily mark the table initially with the automatic tag command.

  Once this is done, you can target the cells in columns and reset the tag applied:

  It is possible that you are trying to do things with numbers for which it is not designed. It's really good at crunching numbers, but this isn't a database program. If you look at the models in file > New in your menu, you will find good examples of use of numbers. To enter formulas usually you don't have to make a lot of seizure of addresses. You type = activate the formula editor, and then click the cell you want to reference. Numbers then inserts the address for you.

  Note: Why two versions?

  Function SIERREUR is ideal for use as a trap for the error, but it acts on all errors, not only the one you plan to trap. Best practice is to add to this trap only if you are sure that the formula generates other error messages that awaits you and using in this case we know VLOOKUP, who has been charged with finding an "exact match" will throw an error when it does. Function SIERREUR catches this error and puts a string anywhere in the cell, making it appear empty.

  I'm playing with making a tracker that provides essentially future balances of loans, savings, etc., based on an average of how much I pay on them. Right now I have a "Savings" column with each cell in the column, which represents a single pay period. The value of each cell transcribed the current balance of my savings at this time here in the future if I add X amount of dollars to him each paycheck. I also factor if I know I will receive more money than the period which I will devote to savings, as a refund of the tax to pay. Currently if I make an adjustment to a cell (say, $ 50), I manually have to add $50 to each cell below the column, so the estimates all reflect this change. So here's my question: is there a function I can use to automatically calculate and perform this change in the following cells if I make a change in a cell above?   I'm not much more expert in oracle apex. Please help me with this problem.

  I use APEX 4.2.

  I have a master form (FORM1) where I have some text fields and a tabular presentation where the data in the child table to appear (product ID, product name). Each line has a check box.

  I added a new button in the region in a table. I want to make is that:

  Select a line in the form of tables (per box), and then click the button

  System must open a form (FORM2) with the ID and name pre-populated from the line selected tabular form (FORM1). In other words, I'm wearing on data from cells in the form of FORM1 to FORM2.

  I tried "with the value" which is one of the option Button in the apex, but in this case, it does not work. because the cells in a table of master / detail are not recognized as part of the page (meaning fields text beginning as P1_Details, P1_Total. etc, but the name of tabular form fields begins without page number as Product_ID, Product_Name)

  Sorry for the long haul. I tried to explain as much as I could. Please help me.

  The easiest way is to change the boxes to use the links. You can format the column link to direct to a page with the values from the current row. It's about how master detail, you already have should work.

  If you must have check boxes, you will need the user to select more than one face. I would like to option buttons if you need to have the user select the line and then click on the button.

  To get the selected value, you'll need javascript or dynamic action and is very well the link Scott.

  My form is saved in dynamic PDF, the table is a set number of lines, opted in the case of this form cannot have repeating lines.  I am trying to simulate the index number of the column 1 depending on whether the cell column 2 on the same line is empty or not.  If a value is entered in the 2nd cell, I hope to see the default value of the 1st column by rank.  Here is where I am today, but no luck.  Not sure what event to place.  Right now, it's in the event of modification of a read-only cell in the 1st column.  Have also tried formcalc, but had no luck there, either.  Is there a better way to simulate an index when the table is static?  Thank you!

• Automate the cells of the filter to another table based on two columns

  What I'm trying to do is: filter multiple cells to a new table. In this example, I want that all students (column 'lidnr', 'city', then the first 7 columns) with 1 teacher in the 'First' column to be copied into the table 'teacher 1'. The same goes for students per 1 teacher in the column "second". I know it can be done with the help of the filter and the copy paste, but I would like to know if this can be automated, because there are many more tables in my actual document.

  Hi Kim,

  The usual way to do this is to add an index for each table for which column the data is to be copied.

  Here is an example of preliminary. Improvements after return from the light of day.

  

  Triangles of error on the last row of T1 are thanks to the formula out of data to search for. Easily fixed.

  Order of the names is different from your example, which is grouped by day numbers. Build lists in the desired order, rethinking the index calculations.

  Course index calculations use the formula below, entered in Table 1::L2 and thre to the rest of the blue full cells filled.

  Data recovery on the Table T1 is well done by the following formula, entered in A2 and down and B2 and filled and down-filled.

  Try to pass some of my Excel spreadsheets in numbers. I'd appreciate help with a specific string of text/number in the cells in a column. In the example below (no sheet of complete works) is a column, the packs work (WP01, WP02 and so forth)-which means work packs a particular Test & Validation document (e.g. TV-102) applies to.

  I would like to be able to simple counting the number of occurrences, say "WP05", is applicable. If I use COUNTIF, on the "WorkPack" column, he has only the cells that contain only the string "WP05" (i.e. in the sheet, I work with, I know there are 22 entries for "WP05" in the column of pack work, but only the 14 account)

  Note: I am building this on my MAC, but would like to be able to access and use these sheets on my iPad - don't know if that makes a difference.

  Any suggestions / ideas?

• value of the cell in numbers displays the date instead of the value of the formula in currency

  I use the numbers frequently and a worksheet I'm using suddenly systematically will display a date (April 30, 2017) instead of a sum value that was always there. I tried to change the cell back to currency format, all clear and reset deleting the formal line and inserting a new formula in another cell, and the problem persists. Have left and restarted numbers and the entire computer. Don't know how it happened, or how I can fix this problem.

  the source and target tables are the following. for the type 1 scd, I chose scd behavior as existing lines updated on behalf of the emp, sal columns.

  Start timestamp to join date and the current flag to flag column.

  first ename is smith when empno is 7369.

  I've updated ename

  After running, I don't have to change the flag o to 1 in the target table.

  SCD type1 mainly used for replaces old values., but I add flag column in the target table for easy identification. () column in which I updated)

  I have not any change in the flag.

  I'm not sure what you're trying to do will work. In the case of Type 1 SCD are you still using the dimension of change slow ikm oracle? The flag is updated to 0 in the case of CDs because of the code in step 2 "' Historize old rows where CPCs flag is set to '0'.» In your case, that no new record is added in the case of an update so the IKM does not change the flag.

  I'm not sure of your requirement either. You say you want to identify the column in which you have updated. How is an indicator will tell you what the column value has been changed? Maybe you want to know which line you have updated? If this is the case and lets say you set the flag to 1 in case of update what happens when another updated same record?

  I would suggest you add an updated time stamp column to your table and set of sysdate but in properties check only the update and will not insert. What that would do is update your record, it will fill the current date and time so that you can identify that this record has been updated.

  If you want to always go for the flag, then follow the same approach but in your mapping, change the value of the flag to 1 instead of 0 and new check only the update box (uncheck the box insert). In your create table statement the default value of this option to 0. So when the new line is inserted database is automatically assigned the flag to 0 and where there is an update, ODI it will change to 1.
