The Windows scroll bar color changing

Hello

Is there a way to change the default color of the scroll bar in the windows?

Thank you.

Nelly

It's actually a under HKCU\Control Panel\Desktop registry setting, but please note that the scroll bar shares the same color as the buttons ("3D objects" in fact), so that your other components of the window will be will share the same color.  There is no way, without counting as WindowBlinds from StarDock software, change the color of the scrollbar independently.

  • The horizontal scroll bar is not here on some websites.

    The horizontal scroll bar is missing when I visit certain websites. This is one of the Web sites, but there are many others still: http://www.fixya.com/support/t23137801-cannot_connect_android_tablet_arris

    I know it is contained to the left or to the right of the portion of the screen I see because I can get by using the arrow keys on some Internet sites. On other sites, the arrows do not move the screen, but I know that it is contained on the side because I can see the edges of the images and buttons.

    I tested two other browsers on the example site that I mentioned above. Internet Explorer does not have the problem, Chrome has the same problem with the scroll bar, like Firefox.

    This problem is tolerable on Web sites were the arrows are a substitute, but on other sites, it makes the site unusable.

    I have disabled all browser extensions, and that did not solve the problem. Change the screen resolution has no effect on the problem. I use Windows XP on a ten year old desktop computer. Windows updates are installed automatically.

    When you compare IE on the same page, what types of photos/buttons do you find on the edges?

    Hello

    Thanks for posting your query in Microsoft Community Forum.

    1. You did it no particular change in the computer before the show?

    Please, try the following suggestions and check.

    Method 1: Start your computer in safe mode

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows/Start-computer-safe-mode#start-computer-safe-mode=Windows-7

    If the problem does not occur in safe mode or safe mode with network and then places the machine to clean the start State and check if helps you solve this problem.

    Method 2: Run the clean boot

    Put your system to the clean boot state helps determine if third-party applications or startup items are causing the problem. You must follow the steps in the article mentioned below to perform a clean boot.

    See the link to perform the clean boot.

  • How can I remove the horizontal scroll bar

    Hello!  I am a new user of muse.  My website is almost finished, except for the nagging horizontal scroll bar at the bottom of the page.  I can't understand why it is there for the life of me.  My page is http://testwake1.businesscatalyst.com/index.html#home

    The black background, I have to adjust the length of the browser and which seems to be the question because if I delete it the horizontal scroll disappears.  What can I do to remove the bar or change the page correctly?  Thank you very much for your help!

    Eric

    On the PC, it seems to only do in Chrome... Exploerer and Firefox does not display a horizontal bar.

    You can also check the properties of the Site, under the menu file/Site Properties window and see if the browser scroll bars have the value Always or automatic.

  • I lost the right scroll bar with the arrow on my monitor.

    I lost the right scroll bar with the arrow on my screen.  I also lost the clock on my toolbar at the bottom.

    Check the resolution of your screen. If you are using Windows 7, you can right click on your desktop and click on the screen resolution - make sure that the correct resolution for your monitor is selected.

    If it is a desktop computer with a monitor, you may also reset the default settings of the monitor using the menu key. Depending on your model, the steps will be something like those here.

  • How to force the vertical scroll bar to display on each page?

    Hello

    Is it possible to force the vertical scroll bar appears on each page, even if it is not needed?

    I have a site with pages larger than the browser window, and others which are smaller. The scroll bar appears only on adults and forcing elements from left to right on the left to navigate through the pages.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks in advance

    In the section header of Page Properties try adding the following code:

  • Move the vertical scroll bar of the Panel to the left of the Panel

    I have a skin Panel with the following:

    <s:Scroller id="contentScroller" height="100%" width="100%"
                     horizontalScrollPolicy="off" verticalScrollPolicy="auto">
        <s:Group id="contentGroup" width="100%" height="100%" minWidth="0" minHeight="0"/>
    </s:Scroller>

    For the life of me I can't understand how to move from contentScroller to the left of its container.

    I tried setting contentScroller x, y, up, left, down, right, the properties height and width to different values, but what I have in the extract seems to be the only way that it appears at all.

    Based on the research, I tried this in the script of the skin:

    override protected function updateDisplayList(unscaledWidth:Number, unscaledHeight:Number):void {
        super.updateDisplayList( unscaledWidth, unscaledHeight );
        if( contentScroller.visible ) {
            //contentScroller.verticalScrollBar.x = 0;
            contentScroller.verticalScrollBar.x = -contentScroller.verticalScrollBar.width;
        }
    }

    Or lines in the if block makes no difference as to where this thing is rendered.  Here's a screenshot of my Panel:

    crap.JPG

    And here's what I would do:

    crap2.JPG

    Thanks for the research!

    I found a solution.

    I removed the code in the script block and I went back to a scroller in the mxml.

    I thought that I could set the vertical scroll bar by creating a skin based Scroller.  In the generated file, I saw this:

    Scroller unconditionally sets its skin's layout to private layout
    implementation that handles the scroll policies. Scroller skins can
    only provide replacement scrollbars. The skin's layout and
    constraints or dimensions set on skin parts will not be honored. To
    gain more control over the layout of a viewport and its scrollbars,
    instead of using Scroller, add them to a Group and use the ScrollBar component's
    viewport property to link them together.

    So I then changed my skin Panel to look like the following:

    Finally, I added the following to the script block for positioning controls correctly:

    override protected function updateDisplayList(unscaledWidth:Number, unscaledHeight:Number):void {
        verticalScroller.left = topGroup.height;
        contents.left = verticalScroller.x + verticalScroller.width;
        super.updateDisplayList( unscaledWidth, unscaledHeight );
    }

  • move the vertical scroll bar in a table

    Hello

    In my VI front panel contains a table of results with the visible vertical scroll bar.  When the program runs a performing a test, I am inserting a line every time the captured result.  The row is inserted in the lower part, and when all the visible lines are met you can not see the final result.  What I want to do is either focus on the last row to move the vertical scroll bar or move programmatically control scrollbar itself.  Is this possible?  If this is not the case, what is the property node that I need to display the last line of a table.  I have inserted the data at the top of the table, but this isn't really what the standard application programs do!

  • Down on the Image, but not on the mouse scroll bar event?

    Hi all

    I use an event "Mouse Down" on an image to save the coordinates X and Y of the click and increment a counter.  My problem is that I'm looking at an image with a scroll bar that I want to use to set what part of the image is visible.  When I click on the scroll bar, I set off the mouse event down and increments the counter, which I won't do.

    Is there a way to implement a mouse event to the bottom so that it will ignore clicks on the image scroll bars?  If not, can you think of another way to accomplish what I'm doing?

    Thank you!

    Some quick ideas:

    The scroll bars will be a fixed height or width of the right or at the bottom of the indicator. In the mouse to the bottom of the event handler, if the click happens to a set of coordinates that are in a region of scroll bar, you know, do not increment the counter.

    OR

    Maybe you can overlay a transparent image control such that it covers the image but not the scroll bars, and find clicks on this second control.

    Hello

    I would suggest that test you the problem in Safe Mode with networking and clean boot.

    What are results in Mode safe mode with networking and clean boot?  After the return.

    If the problem persists in both modes, I would like also to suggest that you reset the mouse settings to check the issue. -Arthur Li - MSFT

    I have nothing on my screen except the window side bar same not start how he back?

    Restore point:

    http://www.howtogeek.com/HOWTO/Windows-Vista/using-Windows-Vista-system-restore/

    Do Safe Mode system restore, if it is impossible to do in Normal Mode.

    Try typing F8 at startup and in the list of Boot selections, select Mode safe using ARROW top to go there > and then press ENTER.

    Try a restore of the system once, to choose a Restore Point prior to your problem...

    Click Start > programs > Accessories > system tools > system restore > choose another time > next > etc.

    See you soon.

  • How to hide the vertical scroll bar in the Combobox?

    Hello

    I try to hide the vertical scroll bar in my combobox, because the number of items is small so it is not necessary that the vertical scroll bar is displayed.

    I have a very strange behaviour :

    When I view for the first time in my combobox, the vertical scroll bar is displayed - unless I have enough evidence to justify the appearance of the vertical scroll bar!

    When I select an item in my combobox, the vertical scroll bar disappears (good behavior): it is always the same list of items!

    I have try several solutions... the vertical scroll bar always appears!

    If you have any ideas, it will be fun...
